sorry duchesse, missed your post. hang in there!

fettleandminifettle · 13/05/2007 20:58

Oh Duchesse - how frustrating? How many DPO are you now? keeping everything crossed for you.

Seaside - hope it;s good news for you too that AF is late. I always thought that your LP was fixed, and it was the time up to ovulation that could vary depending on many factors, including stress and travel. But i wouldn't like to say for certain whether Lp length can change for similar reasons.

Ready - I know i'm not on this thread as much anymore, but I have a feeling you are more quiet than usual - you ok?

Hello everyone else!

take care all

weepootleflump · 13/05/2007 21:01

MrsMcJnr - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm soooooooo pleased for you, it's really given me a lift tonight coming on and seeing your fantastic news. You're such a lovely person and deserve it so much. Look after yourself. xxx

Lets hope there are many more to come very soon.

My dh goes to Afghanistan for 6 months in August and I really feel the clock ticking - we'll be putting in 100% until then.

Everyone else, thanks for all your lovely messages.

Sorry folks it has been a manic few days with out enough sleep (not due to any good or exciting reasons!)

MrsMsJ - what exciting and brilliant news[smlie]. Hope appointment goes well tomorrow. I am so pleased the Pregnancy Panda has kept her promises.

Rah/Jess - well done on thermometer liberation. Personally I am usually quite lazy on LP days, but due to erratic body behaviour and paying more attention. Well done, chill out and jeep it up. You should post a smily face instead of your temp for the rest of the month. and Jess really glad do took you seriously.

Mum03 - good on you. I would say that it is really important to do the deed outside of sperm donation time. It is easy in the stress of TTC to lose that connection that you need even more. (bit to deep for a sun eve?) Hope OV time goes well for you. Hope you are feeling more positive - just incase have a anyway.

Beansprout - good question about temp. I always thought my temp went up about 48hr after I ov'd. BUT this month EWCM was on thurs, OPK +ve was Fri and temp STILL standard low level of 36.29. So not sure whether to let DH "stand down" (although between lack of sleep and his man-flu we were too knackered yesterday).

Duchese - Sore boobs - ooo fingers crossed for you. Don't be worried by -ve test. There is always tomorrow and if you are only just at the end of your cycle you really need that early morning wee to get a clear test result.

I have a slightly personal question: how long after sex do you guys think you need to lie there to give those swimmer a chance. I am ususally desperate for a pee afterwards and wonder if I am undoing some of DH's good work! - sorry if that is too much info.

fettleandminifettle · 13/05/2007 22:12

weepootle - just saw your post. Fingers-crossed you get there before August. I do know exactly how you feel. My DH went to Iraq for 5 months last June and after my mc in Feb, we were desperately trying before he left, but to no avail. It was awful while he was away, knowing there was nothing we could do - we joked about freezers, turkey basters and little donations!!. We even tried to arrange R&R at the right time, but as is the case, it was changed twice, so he was actually home during AF - really poey! Of course, it wasn't too bad. I conceived the first cycle he was home - although my ov was delayed quite a time after he got back - stress, I wonder? Although, I mc, I then conceived immediately afterwards. I think it was the 5 months off alcohol for him and general focus away from TTC for a few months, which helped us - Good Luck!!

SEASIDE - WOW - high temp and 15 dpo (looked at your ff chart!) - I hope you are having a FANTASTIC holiday. Is the high temp due to late night and excess alcohol consumption while on holiday OR is there another possible reason? Hope you get near a better internet connection soon to share your excitement with us!

I think I ov'd today with a dip in my temps, so dh will not get away without one final sperm-collection attempt tonight

duchesse - , don't know what else to say, it is not fair that you are on cd1 again.

greedygreedyguzzler · 14/05/2007 09:17

i really hope its good news for her cos she has just started all her tests and stuff with the doc hasn't she?
musn't get too excited though, i know i had a 16 day lp once and was convinced i was pg, but..........nope, i wasn't

RahRah1 · 14/05/2007 09:23

Morning all

Sorry Duchesse (((((

Seaside... where are you? You nightmare you have posted your temp...but no comments! 15 DPO and no temp drop...I did say to Ready I had a feeling about you this month! Post asap... and take a bloody test! Put us out of our misery!

Good on you MUM03 for ovulating... These poor husbands are so hard done by!

NappyValley - that is a good question about sex, but don't have a clue... I Normally hang about for about 1/2 hour and then think sod it... Make sure you post when you find out.

MrsMcJnr - Where are you? Hope you are just relaxing... XX

beansprout - how many DPO are you? We could be quite near to each other on DPO...

Jess - love my time off at the moment from the temp...

Got to go... My dad is asking me to do some work.... Ready where are you??

Sorry if I have missed anyone but the old man is giving me pressure!

seaside72 · 14/05/2007 09:30

Hi all - LOL at you all getting excited for me! I am in the windswept north as duchesse says and connection is unreliable so a bit hit and miss!

greedy - I know I posted my temps you are a sharp cookie! - but I thnk they are unreliable as have been up both mornings at 5am! and also think the antibiotics and eye stitch/injury could be skewing it . Yes this is my longest LP since charting but I have had one 30 day cycle last year so my pessimisstic side tells me that's what's it must be -my annual 30 day cycle - last time I tested on CD29 and BFN (only time I have done a HPT!) and Af arrived next day - wont be doing that again - am resisting the urge to test - there is nothing I can do about the result anyway!!!

Feels like AF is going to start any minute - constant knicker watch

But please don't get too excited -I don't want to disappoint you all!

Will update if have any news - Odds on favourite for AF to begin today Ho-hum -at least we will be cycle buds duchesse
