I had a really disturbed nights sleep ? was reading til 2.30am ? trying to tire myself out. And woke up at 7am freezing cold, no covers on. Temp was 35.99 ? do you think I should add it to my chart? Or just pretend I didn?t temp this morning?

weepootle - Oh flower, I am so very sorry to hear about your brother. And totally understand why you have not posted on the thread. I sincerely apologise for ?finding? you ? I just was worried about you. I hope I haven?t upset you. Take care of yourself. ((hug))

Feedmenow - Converter
Lovely to see you here Hope I didn?t pressure you into coming back ? How are you feeling about the OPKs? Will you carry on testing just in case?

Jess - Have you tried taking the CM out of the FF chart to see if that makes a difference, I think it might. It?s worth a look. I will go and have a nosy at your chart in a bit.

Rah - Don?t know if you noticed, when you returned, MrsMc started a new chart spotters thread ? and I have been tempted to post your chart on there, but didn?t want to be rude ? I keep having to find the old thread to look at your chart
I think that now you have had your rise, taking a break from temping will be good ? then you won?t be analysing any peaks or dips. Whatever works to relax you

Seaside - Thinking of you and your DH today. (hug)

Hang in there Duchesse

Fingers crossed MrsMc

All -

greedygreedyguzzler · 09/05/2007 20:28

MRS! you are being extremely coy at the moment. i have just had a look at your chart and it looks quite promising! keeping EVERYTHING crossed for you

feedmenow · 09/05/2007 20:38

OK, have found a converter and my temps look pretty much "normal".
Duchess, when I first read your post I didn't read the bit about holding it down to see if it changed to celcius so I just saw the "have you tried turning it on?" I mean, just how stupid do you think I am
Ready, I just wee'd on another stick and had the same sort of faint line. Seeing as I am now CD19 I am going to assume I ov'd some time over the weekend and this is just the residue, as such. If I can become a bitmore organised I might try them again next month (along with remembering my temps each day!!)

seaside72 · 10/05/2007 03:06

Hi temp buds

Just popping in before we go away tomorrow (off on a road trip to MrsMc land!) just in case we have no internet connection where we are off to - as you can see I am up late (packing up the car and doing slowly making my way through my to do list!) so will not be temping as don't think I am going to get my requisite 4 hours sleep In fact I am toying with the idea of no temping for the next 10 days while we are away - Af is due by Saturday and I am under no illusions - she will appear - I can feel her calling cards - sore (.)(.) and general feeling of dampness down there (nice - TMI!) I have resisted the urge to blow the dust off my year old First Response test and take it with me - I haven't needed it in a year- not going to cave in now!

Thank you everyone for kind messages of support re our appointment -Had our first consult with Fertility Gyny this afternoon. She was really nice - answered most of my questions before I had asked them - I think she was a little surprised with how much info I had/knew but was not critical which was nice. The plan is to do CD2/3 tests and a chlamydia (?) screening (annoying as will be away next week when hit CD2 so have to wait for June cycle) Then based on those we will go on to HSG and /or lap and dye (apparently if you test +ive for chlamydia they recommend going straight to lap and dye as ch can increase risk fo tube damage?)

She was almost in the camp of no "such thing as short/defect LP" ?? (nearly told her to log on MN!!) and she said most womens cycles fluctuate length at the pre-ove stage but not much at the post ov phase. Interestingly she did say that for those of us with short cycles the slightly earlier OV could be a prob as the uterus needs time to recover from the previous AF??

I went for the consult privately but she confirmed that she would take me over to her NHS practice and we would prob be eligible for one IVF cycle on NHS which was good news.

Anyway - enough of me me me!!

weepootleflump - I was so sorry to hear of your sad loss - my thoughts are with you and your family - {{{big hugs}}}

feedmenow- Glad Paris was good - I think the bd schedule sounds good! Good luck with your converter - LOL at you thinking duchesse just told you to turn it on

Ready - sorry about disturbed sleep hon it hard to stop the thoughts and worries whirring around some nights (says she still up at 2.45am!!)

MrsMc - Hope you are doing OK - at the bottom of the list!! Fingers crossed for a record-breaking LP

Jess - sorry FF is messing you around - I think the first cycle you put it is always all over the place as it is trying to learn and adjust your stats day by day - hope it comes good for you

Rah - PMSL at your cat in car story - DH deserves a nut cracker for his hazelnuts after that

duchesse - I won't say anything hopeful or positive (yet!)- just giving you a firm slap on the back and a stiff upper lip smile

Minxi - any sign of OV?

CityAngel - Think you are back with us again? In fact if your jetlag is kicking in you may well be around when I post this!

Mum03 - well done for remembering to temp! CD9 already - we are all kind of getting very close together CD wise- do you think our cycles are syncing up!!

NappyValley - hope you are doing OK and that OV is around the corner (just scoffed the last of my browines and fairy cakes - err - I feel a bit sick - can I call it a 2ww symptom rather than plain old greedy gorging! )

beansprout - hope duchesses mouse scarer works if not will post you my jack russell for a few days

Iwillbe - Hope you are OK and that you drop in soon

mummy2olivia - hi! - lovely to "see" you around here. Glad to hear all is well.

rattling - if you are lurking - hi - hope your hols are fab

{{{Big Hugs}}} to all our graduates and their bumps

duchesse · 10/05/2007 03:32

Seaside- something tells me that we will be cycle buddies this month. Everything dying down here again. Nuts, as my husband would say.

Hmmm. My temp was down a bit today . So I don't know if I have OVd. EWCM has completely dried up so does that mean if I haven't OVd then it's going to be an annovulatory cycle.

Seaside When I got pregnant my only symptoms were sore (.)(.) and increased cm. Same as pre-AF symptoms, but worse and they didn't go away before af due as usual.

Where is MrsMcJnr? Her chart is looking good.

rahrah If/when I OV I'll give up taking my temperature. It's just too stressful and I'm not sure you gain any useful information from it.

Hello to everyone else.

Hi all

Just checking for MrsMc news - still have everything crossed for you!

Hope you are all doing well?

Glad to hear appointment went well Seaside - enjoy your holiday.

Jess, I wouldn't worry too much about your temp dip. I think a dip 2-3 days post-ovulation is normal, as long as it is not below your coverline. Hopefully it will be back up tomorrow again.

Hello everyone else! [waving manically]!!

take care all

Hey ladies away on business yesterday

Duchesse ? hope you are ok and hanging in there

Ready I?d put that temp in anyway even if it?s just for reference.

Weepottleflump I am so sorry to hear about your brother, how awful. Sending huge hugs to you. How?s the new house?

Hi RahRah

Hello Jess Hello Mum03 Hello Feedmenow Hello Minxi Hello Greedy Hello Beansprout

Seaside have a lovely time and I hope you get a nice surprise! Really pleased that the Gyny was nice, makes a huge difference

Hmmm hello ?.I am ?probably pregnant? woke up at 4am, needed a wee and thought I?d better temp too as I normally get up at 6.15, temp was still good so I rooted around in the dark for a test and did it ? there was a line not the strongest of lines but mostly definitely there. Funnily enough, I didn?t get any sleep after that. I feel numb really, I went through every emotion in the hours of lying there; as you can imagine I am very scared about the thrombophilia and the risk to the baby, I don?t have a haematology appointment yet and I don?t know what to do. I have left a message for my GP to call me about ?something important? I hope she is not too angry with me for disobeying her advice to help. I haven?t had any spotting like last time so I am reading into that that this time might be different; more fool me but what?s the harm in staying positive? I am really excited, just scared. Please can I stay awhile? Want to temp for at least another week, if it doesn?t freak me out too much.

minxi · 10/05/2007 10:44

Fab news MrsMcJ - congratulations....get that gp appointment quick though, just to be safe! WELL done you!!

Hope everyone else ok today!!

OP posts:
feedmenow · 10/05/2007 12:06

Well just came in to say that I forgot to temp again thsi morning and what do I find but a pg MrsMc!!!!!! Fantastic news, well done to you both!

MrsMcJnr · 10/05/2007 12:18

Thank you so much you are all so sweet to me spoke to GP and she was a bit frosty at first but said she'd contact haematologist and call me back. I'll feel much better after I've spoken/seen consultant I think

Ready · 10/05/2007 12:23

Congratulations MrsMcJnr - Wonderful wonderful news!! I am so thrilled for you and DH! Now take good care of yourself. ? I did put that temp because this morning I got another low-ish one ? again with very little sleep, so I think that you were right when you suggested less sleep would affect the temp. For me it seems to lower it.

Seaside - It?s great that you got a nice consultant ? that is half the battle sometimes I imagine. And great news that she will take you as NHS patients too.
It?s a shame that you will be away for the CD2/3 test, but at least it is something to focus on. It?s strange how many fertility consultants dismiss the LP issue ? I wonder why there is such a difference of opinion. Have a wonderful time (I realise you are already en-route) away, and Happy 2nd Anniversary!

Rah - How's it going? Hope the car is smelling nice now and not of cat - Take care of yourself petal

Feedmenow - I?d say that looked very likely that you ovulated when you were away ? which bodes well for and Elysée or a Champ?

Bonjour Fettleandminifettle - Hope you are both well

Minxi - Did the gynae say that the clomid would affect your temps?

Beansprout - I think that carrying on until a temp rise is the best idea! Good luck

Jess - I know it?s easier said than done, but try not to worry about your temps. They are only a guide, and are not completely accurate for everyone. Hang in there

Everyone Else - Big hello, and crossed fingers!

mum03 · 10/05/2007 14:17

MrsMc - congratulations, that is great news. I hope that the doc gets back in touch with you soon to sort out if you need meds now. It is so exciting to get a bfp here.

MrsMcJnr · 10/05/2007 15:40

Thanks Dr has been amazing, I now have an appointment with the consultant at 9.30 on Monday morning

duchesse · 10/05/2007 15:44

Congratulations MrsMc! That's fab news. Crossing everything for you.

Hi everybody else too numerous to mention.

I do not think this is an auspicious month for me. Things are definitely on a downwards slide to a period. (.)(.) defo slightly less sore, temps have dropped, do not feel so sick. Back to the treadmill for me, I think.

mum03 · 10/05/2007 17:48

Duchesse

weepootle - sorry I did not read it earlier, I am so sorry to hear about your brother. With the stress of moving house too, I wish we could help you. Hope that you know you are in our thoughts.

Lottie - how are you, any news from spain?

MrsMc - glad that you have got an appt so soon, how did your dh take the news?

I am feeling a little with 3 of my friends close by, just having had little baby girls, and another friend due in the next couple of weeks. I am sorry to say that I have not gone to visit yet as I don't feel like I can face it. However I have to test one of the baby's on monday, so I will have to see them. Probrably will have a cuddle at the time and feel even worse.

My parents are coming to visit in just a weeks time too, and I know my mum will be expecting me to announce news that I am pg, and I won't be able to give her that news , She wants me to fill up our new house with children. I really have taken this month badly. Part of me is saying to stop and move on if it is making me feel so low, but another part of me knows that giving up is not that easy. Sorry I did not mean to be so down today. I don't normally get so low at this time of the month, must be lack of sleep from shagging late at night too much

fettleandminifettle · 10/05/2007 19:48

Sorry - had to post. Mum03 [[hugs]] - far too many faces for me!

Look after yourself - you will get there. You will all get there eventually. don't give up hope. Please don't forget that each time took me 2 years to conceive successfully - it doesn't happen over night for everyone.

take care

RahRah1 · 10/05/2007 21:11

Evening girls...

Sorry not been on all day, but been working hard trying to catch up with missing work whilst in Wales.

Major congratulations MrsMcJnr.... Glad the doctor has been very supportive! Now they know what is wrong they will be able to help you so much. Stay with us as long as possible! Did you start taking the aspirin before getting pregnant in the end?

I'm not going to temp for the rest of the month and will try to ignore my CD days, as just make myself more miserable... so will see if that helps... probably not and will be back to temping everyday the month after.

Seaside - so glad you appointment went well... (virtual lolli handed to you) My doctor is good but a complete arse!

Dutchesse - sorry the signs are coming in

mum03 - so sorry you are feeling low, I know exactly how you are feeling. My friend just had her baby and wrote to me with pictures... really breaks your heart to participate... its all hard work. X

jess1996 - I agree, I am knocking it on the head for this month, see if that eases some of the disappointment

feedmenow - put a big sticker on the pillow next to you to remind you to temp X (slap wrist) (or on hubbies forehead-lol)

Beansprout - at you lack of squirt... bloody hubbies' why can't they have the squirt when we want it! I swear they are big drama queens

minxi - have you ovulated yet?

Sorry if I have missed anyone.... My husband is talking to me and trying to type this message at the same time.

RahRah1 · 10/05/2007 21:17

Fettle & Greedy - hope you guys and bumps are doing well... are you both around 20 weeks now? Are you going to find out the sex of the baby?

Ready · 10/05/2007 21:34

You missed me out Rah!
