Ready - I am in Wales until B/H Monday. It was neither of those dresses, but I did see the brown one, but they did not have any in my size left! Mine is multi coloured, halter neck and ties at the front. Very multi purpose but £110!
I am a burned goddess - on the back of my legs and only in stripes I used after sun like normal people ..lol (I lived in Greece for 5 months once and use to use more natural products, so agree with you one that one)

Hope the stress is not too much about DH's contract..Really hope it works out the way you want it too.

Rattling - So sorry to see you back on CD1. Have you been to see someone about your LP length? I read they can give you progesterone suppositories to m maintain LP length quite significantly. Have a good time on your bender...Enjoy X

seaside72 - hope you had fun at the beach..and you are already so far into your DPO's I think its because I am spoiled for shopping in Birmingham. They shopping centre has everything.

jess1996 - so sorry you are having a rough time with your periods. Hopefully they will even out. My fertility consultant told me and DH it should take 6 months really for the body to get back to normal. But I think you are right to seek help from the GP just in case something is going on that is not right. {{{HUGS}}}

Mum03 - remind me when I get home to get your blog details. Sounds very interesting. We started a blog when we got pregnant, about all our trials and tribulations of pregnancy. We obviously did not get to finish it, but maybe when we are brave enough we will finish it off.

Nappyvally - I PMSL at your message about it raining... LOL.... and thanks for the update on the pregnancy panda!

RahRah1 · 04/05/2007 12:25

MrsMcJnr - how are you feeling? Very close to 'am I - aren't I time - hope you are!

Sorry If I have missed anyone off... I am struggling because I have missed so much in the last couple of days and I am sat in a chair trying to balance my laptop.

I am still very confused about my ovulation signs, it is day 17 and now my ferning has disappeared! and still No +OPK!! What is going on?
I have started with a stinking cold - can this effect ovulation and the quality of CM?
I must have delayed ovulation, as I normally get full ferning for about 4 days prior to ovulation. It is sodding typical that I have DH full attention and its not being put to good use!

I think we are off to the mumbles today, so catch you all later X

NappyValley · 04/05/2007 12:34

Oh god I am a terrible mother, no wonder God does not want me to have another!!
Yes arm is broken have sought help on how to deal with nursery.
see here

Rattling - sorry love, but caffine mocha choca skinny latte with creme sounds like an EXCELLENT policy

rattling · 04/05/2007 12:53

NappyValley - a skinny with cream. Does that make it healthy or not? Sorry to hear about ds, I know nothing of nurseries, but his fall doesn't seem to have been dealt with very well at all.

Ready - wish I'd read your message before going off for the coffee. Caffeine hit after a month of is a bit scary - plan not to work has failed, I'm doing things I've been putting off for weeks

Rahrah - loving the daily updates on your exploration of south Wales. Glad you are getting some sun - I hear it is due to rain soon.

As far as problems with DH and my LP, we have been referred to subfertility unit now, just waiting (8-12 wks) for appointment. I'll see what they have to say. GP wasn't much help. Had no (okay, always some, but knew it was stupid) hopes for pregnancy, but last month I had a "normal" cycle. Was hoping that would keep up.

MrsMcJnr - as I'm not temping I'll hang about at the bottom of the list till after the weekend. Hope that will keep the pressure off. Of course writing that just draws attention you, putting the pressure back on

duchesse · 04/05/2007 14:29

NappyValley- please don't beat yourself up about not noticing sooner- greenstick fractures in children are extremely common, often do not swell or look in any other way hideous, and can even be missed on X Ray. My middle child fractured her wrist on Christmas Day 2005 by sliding in her new socks across her brother's bedroom floor. On New Year's Day*, when I finally her for an x ray to confirm to her that she was just being her usual wimpy self re pain, the on call orthopaedic surgeon told me all the above just before I expired from embarassment and shame.

*Erm, yes. A week later. We had been bandaging it up, but otherwise treating is as a sprain...

Mum03 ? I think I?d forget to temp if I was doing those things too A break at your stage won?t mess up the pattern, make sure you get the thermo out next week though

Seaside ? hello hope you got a better night?s sleep. Goingfor3 got her BFP this week, she?s incredibly eligible for the Graduate thread, I think we should all go and join her so she is not alone when Honeyapple pops in Oct How are you celebrating your 2nd anniversary? Is 2nd wood? That was very interesting about the sperm and something that many women don?t realise I think. I guess because it happens in your body, you think you must be to blame. You should post, many of the MC ladies would welcome the knowledge

Greedy & Honeyapple ? I have all the graduate EDDs in my diary, would hate to miss them!

Jess1996 ? hope you are ok and feeling a lot better I had loads of days of light spotting before and after AF last cycle, I guess it may just take time to settle down. I do feel for you. I thought the process of TTC would be exciting and fun too

NappyValley ? I love the idea of your tea wagon! Hope DS is ok, poor little thing . Tell that Pregnancy Panda that we might not be rich but we are all beautiful! Aside from Julia Roberts and Nicole Kidman, who else has he been visiting?

Ready ? try not to worry about what family members assume, it?s all from a selfish perspective anyway. Thanks for your thoughts on the dpo dilemma!

Here are our Graduates and their EDDs:

Pinkelephant C section 18/6
Bodkin 15/7
Chooster/RachelRose 22/7
Firststar 26/7
Conkertree 1/8
Babymad 3/8
Kitkat 29/8
Fettle 29/9
Greedy 30/9
Honeyapple 27/10

Hope that doesn?t hurt any of you

Rattling ? I?m sorry hon extremely annoying and disappointing
I feel the pressure!

RahRah ? sounds like you are having fun! Put it this way, shame you can?t lose weight symptom spotting! new one yesterday ? crying over the content of father?s day cards could be delayed Ov Rah, think feeling unwell can affect it. Better to have a late healthy one though!

greedygreedyguzzler · 04/05/2007 17:16

i have just been trawling through old threads to remind myself how you lot must all be feeling and i found thisthread i was reading my posts from around 8th dec and i can definately remember how you all feel.
anyway, what i am trying to say (in my normal crappy way) is that december seems like no time at all ago to me and i was soooooooooooo depressed then and i really felt like it would never happen, but now here i am 19 wks gone. SO...............KEEP ON TRYING, AND YOU WILL ALL BE ON THE GRADUATE THREAD BEFORE YOU KNOW IT!

Morning ladies morning Minxi

Greedy - you are so sweet to think about us all so much. I know exactly what you mean, when I did get my BFP, the wait didn't seem so bad and I do try to remind myself of that. I think AF might be on her way no matter how hopeful I felt TMI but have orange cm and think it could turn to spotting later on. Hey ho.

Good morning everyone
I'm with MrsMc on feeling despondent temp quite low this morning an I have woken up to a threartening bladder infection again - grrr I have gotten it into my head that whenever I get these mid cycle or 2ww illnesses/infections it is my body fighting off some kind of change or infiltration and in my madder moments I imagine that coiuld be a fertilised egg?? (told you it was a bit mad ) but it is amazing what you can talk yourself into/out of when TTC and esp in the 2ww - all rational thinking is a memory. !
Will be back later for a catch-up with everyone.

OK, my ovulation mystery is getting stranger. I have had a temp increase today to 36.9. I got a faint line last night at about midnight and then a much stronger line this morning on my OPK. Maybe my cold has made my temp rise and I have not yet ovulated? Any ideas?
I feel like poo anyway... so very un-involved sex from me if we have any...

Sorry about the despondency girls! Looks like I'm joining Sea and Mrs... (Hope you two are ok).

We husband wants me to go for another walk up cliffs, but the way I am feeling he will be pushed off them if he is not careful.

Signing off for the day - Rah in Wales X

Hi everyone. Hope you are all having good weekends. Rah - does seem that the temp rise could be due to illness so it may be that some uninvolved shagging will be necessary How was the Mumbles? Ahh,brings back many memories. Have you been on the Gower as well?

Seaside - I know exactly what you mean about lack of rational thought. Have spent the week with the same twinges and occasional nausea that last week meant that, yep, I was definitely pregnant. Doh! Big hug to you.

Mrs McJ - keeping my fingers crossed for you that the spotting stays away.

Jess - I'm sorry to hear your body is still unsettled. This is all hard enough as it is without not being able to know for sure what is happening in our bodies.

Nappy - you are not a terrible mother, unless we are now supposed to have x-ray vision as well? Hope he is ok.

Rattling - hope that appointment comes through soon.

Duchesse - I have a bit of Firth's leg here if you are interested?

Everyone else - helloooooo!

Feeling a bit odd here. CD9 means we are entering the business phase of the month, but it's obviously not that long since the events of last week. That said, I really don't have the patience for a 6ww, so we'll see. Think of it as getting back on (or in fact, actually being) the bike

Ready · 05/05/2007 18:57

Ladies ? I didn?t set my alarm for this morning, and I didn?t take my temp . I wanted to wake up without immediately thinking about ttc for once. I figured it wasn?t an important day, so it won?t matter too much. It felt good to not reach for the thermometer!

Beansprout - PMSL at ?being the bike? ? Go for it girl ? you are super fertile right now ? Enjoy

Rah - that is one hell of a temp spike chick!! Wait and see what happens tomorrow. OPKs are not always reliable are they ? so don?t trust them implicitly, but I suppose that the temps are just an unreliable if other factors affect them. Whatever happens, just carry on doing the deed ?Just got back from the game, and another goal to celebrate , so with any luck that will go some way towards helping him get another contract ? fingers crossed please ? How was your walk up in the cliffs? Hope you didn?t burn this time!

Seaside - Sorry to hear about the ?threatening bladder infection? ? get plenty of cranberry juice down your neck! And chamomile tea. Hope you fight it off? I know what you mean about whether your immune system is weakened due to other happenings in the body ? my fingers and toes are crossed for you sweets? That spell has got to kick in soon hasn?t it! Don?t worry about your temp ? so long as it remains above the coverline! try not to be despondent! Hang in there!

Lottie - Talking of the spells made me think of you chick, and I hope that you are grand. Missing you lots! When are you back?

Greedy -It was funny looking back over the other thread. I fully intend to keep trying! How long where you trying for this time round? I want to say 12 months, but that can?t be right?

MrsMcJnr - It was really interesting to see the list of The Graduates (although, I think you meant PinkButterfly didn?t you ) - When you are next on that thread, do wish them all well from me! So exciting for them all ? I hope that we are not too far behind . You are right of course, any assumptions made by family are not with the best intentions. I am not going to let the minority ruin my visit back home. Although, I had it all planned that how I was going to tell everyone ? it?s a shame we won?t get to do it. ...Hope your spotting stays away, fingers crossed.

Rattling - I posted too late to stop your caffeine rush ? haha, I can imagine you buzzing around getting everything done!! How was your night out?

NappyValley - Don?t beat yourself up chick! I am at the way the nursery handled the situation. I mean, not even calling you. I hope that you take the matter further ? because although I know nothing about nurseries, I am inclined to agree with others that you pay good money for them to care for your child ? so they should be eager to show they are capable! Hope DS is feeling ok?

Minxi - That is a big temp hike ? do you think you have ovulated? If so, perfect timing on the effort huh! Fingers crossed chick!

Everyone - Hope that you are enjoying the weekend and the glorious weather!! Fingers and toes crossed for all this month!

We?re off out for a meal shortly so better throw a brush through my hair and slick on some balm!

mum03 · 06/05/2007 03:51

Since I am posting this at 3.50am I guess I will not be temping this morning!!! Up due to dd waking me again, and dh snoring so can't get back to sleep!

Minxi - I had a look over your charts, and I would be inclined to say that you haven't ovulated now. On your feb cycle you had a massive spike on 14 then you ovulated on 17. Also on that cycle you noted EWCM the day after the spike, which has happened this cycle - so I am guessing that you will ovulate in the next couple of days based on the previous similarities. What do you think?

Enjoy football and the muppet BBQ

I reckon i will ovulate today! It is a complete nightmare being around parents all the time... basically you have to wait until its dead in the night

jess1996 · 06/05/2007 18:15

Hello ladies,

I did not temp today as I had a few drinks last night which I find always artificially elevates my temp. Yesterday my temp was 36.25. So I'm a bit confused. When I first started temping post-OV temps were usually above 36.4. Then they became about 36.2-36.3 (definitely still OVing as I got pregnant one of those months). Then last month post-OV temps were back to 36.4. so I don't know what to expect now. Maybe it's seasonal variation as the lower temps were in the middle of winter and now that the weather is warmer. I'm warmer too. I just hope I haven't OV'd early. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Had some more very light bleeding Friday and yesterday. It's not proper bleeding, or even spotting. It's more the orangey CM described by Mrs McJnr.

rahrah sounds like your cold did cause your freak temp. Do you normally OV as late as CD19? I often OV quite late too.

ready I was relieved not to take my temp this morning. It's just such a stressful start to the day.

Sorry to hear you're feeling despondent seaside and MrsMc. Hope AF stays away.

rattling Have you mentioned your short LP to your GP? I would be nervous about discussing temping with my GP. I always imagine them to be sceptical.

Hello to everyone else. Hope you're all having a good weekend.
