All the sad faces nubian Sad
Me and hubby have been busy painting this weekend (inbetween me sitting in the sun for a bit!) which has kept me busy! I'm only 6dpo and feel like it is going really slowly though!!

Keep loosing track, anyone due to test soon? Are we going to have a September thread? X

Nubian9454 · 27/08/2017 19:17

Have fingers crossed for you Karpuzkiz . When it comes to the TWW it feels like time literally slows Down. I think we should have a September thread

tiramisualwaystiramisu · 27/08/2017 20:04

Everything crossed for you karpuzkiz and so sorry to hear that nubian

I cracked, asked DH what he thought and tested yesterday morning. Got a BFN, but it was on an internet cheapie and only at 12dpo. Going to hold out til Tuesday and test again. Think I had implantation pains Saturday, am more tired than usual and boobs are not sore the usual way when AF is due. So remaining quietly hopeful I'm not out yet.

Would be up for a September thread if I am though.

Wishing you all a lovely bank holiday weekend

LopeyLopez · 28/08/2017 07:33

Yes let's have a new thread for September! Like impatient mummy said last time: it seems better to start fresh with a new thread....otherwise this just seems endless...!

Been reading through the threads (sorry not posted for a while) and sorry to see all the sadness. Ttc is such a sad and stressful time.

Another friend of a friend (wife of oh's friend actually) just announced a pregnancy....they had been trying too...not sure how long for though. She is much younger than me.

Good luck to those waiting to test....ages for me yet (o day next week). We really need some good news, i.e. a bfp on here, to keep us positive!!

LopeyLopez · 28/08/2017 08:48

I made a new thread but I can't figure out how to link to it?!?!?! (I'm on the mumsnet app on my phone rather than the website which might be the problem....!) if anyone knows then please post a link...it's called TTC #2 (September bfps)! Otherwise I will try to figure it out...

LopeyLopez · 28/08/2017 08:50

Ok....I think this it is:

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/3018012-ttc-2-september-bfps

Please post, update your stats, etc!

KashyKash · 28/08/2017 08:51

Keeping my fingers crossed for those waiting for Af/BFPs. It feels like we definitely need a bfp to lift us.

I'm around ovulation time now. Usually I get a couple of days of high opk then one day of peak. This time I have had three days of flashing face and my temp rose this morning. I've been testing two-three times a day...can I have really missed the peak surge? Maybe it only lasts for a few hours at my age :( Anyway, if it has happened I'm hoping we have a good chance as we managed to dtd everyday since Thursday.

I'm up for a September thread, no idea how to start one otherwise I'd do it!

Hope everyone is enjoying the bank holiday weekend. I'm in Scotland so there's no bank holiday, no sun and I've been working all weekend!! Rubbish. Only today and tomorrow to work then I'm on leave so can't complain too much.

Good luck everyone x x

Nubian9454 · 28/08/2017 09:34

Thanks for starting the September thread Lopey. Will post updated stats once af arrives and cycle 6 starts.

Sorry about the Bfn Tiramisu but you are definately still in with a chance.

Sounds promising for you Kashy. Fingers crossed for everyone waiting to test. Baby dust everyone. My af is still late but will start wondering if I'm pregnant If it doesn't arrive tomorrow. Have only slight sore boobs which is unusual for me. Normal af cramping along with lower back pain and pain in legs. I don't feel hopeful at all.

tiramisualwaystiramisu · 28/08/2017 09:47

Thanks Nubian - I feel a bit different from the last few months so am still quietly hopeful.

Fingers crossed for kashy and others.

Thanks for starting September thread lopey - will probably be on there in a day or two

LopeyLopez · 28/08/2017 15:43

Fingers crossed Tiramasu.....hope to NOT see you on the September thread Wink Good luck!

Cupcakesandlove · 28/08/2017 20:00

I'm out, she arrived today a day earlier than expected. 24 day cycle this month.
All the best tiramisu, let us know how you get on baby dust to you xxxxxx

Nubian9454 · 28/08/2017 20:36

Sorry Cupcake

tiramisualwaystiramisu · 29/08/2017 06:49

Sorry to hear that cupcake - at least a short cycle means less time to wait to try again.

Got my BFP this morning! So I won't be joining the September thread, but good luck and baby dust to you all and thanks for your support on these threads. Hope to be hearing about your September BFPs very soon

SquashyMummy · 29/08/2017 07:47

Congratulations tiramisu I hope it's a sticky one and you have a smooth pregnancy. Finally some good news on this thread Smile

Karpuzkiz · 29/08/2017 08:09

Yay tiramisu great news! Did you test early or manage to wait it out?! I'm not feeling any different at all this month Sad

MotherofBoy · 29/08/2017 08:57

Finally some good news! Congrats tiramisu! How many months was it for you? Also congrats to you too chloe.

I have hopped over to September bus. 7dpo and not feeling optimistic...

curliegirlie · 29/08/2017 09:04

Yay Tirasimu xxxx

cautiousoptimist1 · 29/08/2017 09:43

Congrats tiramisu.

I'm going to hop over to the September thread, I've been lurking but not posting as I was trying to relax more and find myself back in the 2ww.

MynameisJune · 29/08/2017 15:51

Congratulations Tiramisu

tiramisualwaystiramisu · 29/08/2017 17:55

Thanks everyone - I tested at 12dpo and got a BFN karpuzkiz but definite BFP this morning when AF is due. Even when I showed the test to DH, he said there were two lines.

motherofboy I think this is cycle 4. First cycle properly using opks though rather than just relying on my freebie app

Nubian9454 · 29/08/2017 18:43

Fantastic news Tiramisu. So very pleased for you! Wishing you a smooth pregnancy. Now send some baby dust out way!

4 days late but still negative hpt. I am not really hopeful tbh. Af symptoms are prominent, although no sore boobs. First month my cycle seems off.

LopeyLopez · 29/08/2017 22:53

Yay Tiramisu!!!! Great news for the August thread at last!! SmileSmileSmileGrin Congrats and have a healthy pregnancy xxx

pocketfullofsunshine · 30/08/2017 09:42

Hey guys.
Sorry went awol again, had to take drastic measures to stop ss!
Im a week late today, last test i did was day af was due and was a bfn. Lost hope to test now.
Although, cervix is very high and soft. I had some cramping but nothing else really. No sign of af turning up at all. Fx something worked, im just gona hang on a few more days to test sick of seeing bfn x

Nubian9454 · 30/08/2017 19:40

Same here Pocket. I am 5 days late but keep getting bfn. I think af might arrive Friday.

LopeyLopez · 30/08/2017 20:43

Oooo, good luck nubian and pocket!

I don't understand this af being late business....I thought luteal phase was supposed to remain constant, within 1-2 days? Therefore, if you know when you ovulate (and we mostly do, cos we're obsessed!), then you just count your luteal phase from then, and bam! Af or bfp (preferably!).

If af is late then it means luteal phase DOES vary, so have they been telling us a lie? Or is this what happens to bodies as you get older?? I am interested because, for me, af has never been late in all the time I can remember, until my weird cycle last month, where it was late and my luteal phase had increased by 2 days. This was very odd. Does it mean my body is winding down for the menopause or something...? I am really scared.

Reading everyone else's posts it seems so common for af to show up late but us not to be pregnant. It doesn't make sense; this shouldn't happen based on what the understanding of the female body is! (Sorry for rant Blush)
