Anyone ttc baby #2 in July?

Hi all,
Anyone ttc number 2?!

I know lots of you are so I thought I'd see if anyone in same boat wants to chat on a new thread?!

I chat to some lovely ladies on the monthly ttc buses....I know some are ttc their first baby (some with real difficulties like MC, or just for a long time) and I feel so bad to be worrying about conceiving #2 when I already have a lovely little one tucked up in his bed upstairs, when I'm sure they'd love to be in that position. (Not that they'd ever say anything or show any resentment, as they're all lovely and just as supportive whether people are trying for 1st or 5th!!!)

It is a bit different though, different emotions... grateful for what you have but longing to be a mummy again... and different challenges (trying to fit in dtd when you have a little person sabotaging your efforts and popping up to demand a drink/teddy/phantom tummy ache, I swear he has a radar for it!)

So I just wondered if anyone wanted to chat who's in same boat ttc #2, as it can also be hard when you desperately want to have another baby, to give your others a sibling, and it's seemingly not happening...

Cycle 5 (af just ending). Feeling disappointed but hopeful ...

June I think you mean tiberius - I do hope you are just early in congratulating me though. Am already symptom spotting and getting v twitchy - no idea how I'm going to wait until Saturday to test ...

Ah, the best part of the month Hazel and June! I always feel so energetic and on top of the world on the approach to ovulation. And that's great you got a positive OPK June.

Well done to everyone on the test-abstaining.. Not too much longer to go! I'm around 8/9 DPO I think.. Don't have any tests in the house (though I may or may not have been PO cheapie OPKs the past couple of days ) so hopefully going to hold out until I get a clear sign (either absence of AF, or most probably, AF symptoms that I'm convinced are pregnancy symptoms!).

Did you have any symptoms Blue?

silversun I always tell myself I'm not testing until after AF is due and never, ever manage it 🙈

silversun i was on cycle 5 but cycle 2 after Cp/early mc.
I only had proper period style cramps at 7dpo/8dpo, I have no symptoms apart from that. I also found that last time i concieved i had no symptoms either, i have less pg symptoms now then i do when af is on the way lol.
Af isn't due until Thursday so i feel alittle nervous after last time. Xx

Temp continues to rise and dare I say it chart starting to look triphasic... trying not to get hopes up! Also had pulling/aching sensation in pelvis last couple days. But cm has all dried up and cervix is low firm and closed and both of those are typical of af so who knows. Going to see if I can hold out testing til the weekend when I will be 11/12dpo but will see how strong I'm feeling!

Can I join? Cycle 1, 3dpo. I had every intention of being very low-key second time around, but I am counting the days and climbing the walls.

On another note. I seem to have developed a 16 week size bump. It's consistently there and has been for days. My stomach is hard and I feel really bloated. Did anyone have this as a symptom? I better bloody be p after all this. I even had someone move out of the way in the way some men do when they spot a bump and think they need to let you past, with a long stare at the bump.
I've not even poas yet! Hope it's a good sign. Knowing me it's just my body playing a cruel trick

Bloating is definitely a symptom 1000! Fingers crossed for you! Argh I am feeling nervous already about testing. Hate the wait and hate the disappointing bfns. Keep symptom spotting it's terrible! I can only be about 7dpo, far too early for symptoms 🙈

Morning Nell! Weren't we all?

BFN this morning at 8/9 dpo. I know I'm not out yet but it's still disheartening. Maybe that's a good thing, stop me getting too excited before a disappointment. I think it's worse because I dreamt about a BFP last night!

Anyone else testing today?

Hello Nell - I also planned to be very low-key and relaxed about it this time round, but if anything I'm more neurotic. Desperately trying to remember how I got through the TWW last time without losing the plot...

Mother your chart looks fab! My cm has pretty much dried up too.. I've had just a teeny but of watery stuff. And just saying my cramps were 7dpo so not always to soon! Hehe
1000 i am so bloated the day before i tested i said to dp "look at the size of my stomach, I'm massive!" How many dpo are you?

Nell.. I hear you. Also cycle 1 and also low-key I thought that because life is so different this time around, I wouldn't even give it a second thought.. 'Oh, has it been five weeks since my last period??' No chance!

Fingers crossed the bloating is there for a reason 1000.

9/10 DPO here and feeling pretty nervous myself, Mother! But anxiety is a definite pre-AF symptom for me.. Also a bit gassy.. No idea if I'm more likely to get that if PG or before AF.. I was so convinced I was out the cycle I got pregnant last time that I didn't pay any attention to how I felt in the 2WW! Really wish I had now! The only thing I remember was really strong AF cramps the day before I tested.. Including stabbing pains that took my breath away.

Just tested again. last time with my cp they got lighter and lighter, these are getting darker thankfully! Dare i feel hopeful?

Congratulations Bluee and all the other recent BFPs. I'm well and truly into cycle 10 now -CD8- with fertile week being next week, and annoyingly not really coinciding with the weekend. I'm going to make damn sure I don't miss ov day out this month. Last month we dtd 3 days and 1 day before ov day, as well as most of the previous week (I ovulated later than I expected), which would have definitely done it if we weren't ttc, I bet you. I went a bit crackers yesterday and bought a couple of maternity tops (£5!!!) in the H&M sale in the hope I'm going to need them at some point. It's probably jinxed things....

Blue, wow.. Looking good! Your 11DPO line looks like mine did on the same day.. At 13DPO it was actually darker than the control line so I think you have every reason to be hopeful!

curlie I was in h&m yday too and saw lots of bargins on maternity wear, couldn't bring myself to buy them but wish i did now! Might look online. You wouldn't have jinxed it dont be silly
silver oh really!? That's great 🤗. I have 1 frer left- I'll save for 13dpo to see how it looks. When should i do a cbd? Shall i leave it a week or so?

Yep, these were mine at 11 and 13DPO. I think I did the CB at 15DPO and it came up at 2-3 weeks pregnant so reckon even if you did it now it would likely say 1-2. Not saying you should do it now though!

Curlie - I can definitely identify. We're on cycle 9 (CD7) and although DH was originally incredibly up for it and we nailed our timings every month, it's now becoming harder. Currently sitting on my hands as DH has his sperm analysis booked in for CD9 (which means we can't dtd 48 hours in advance), and as we failed to dtd yesterday, realistically the earliest we can start this month is CD10, so I really have to hope I don't ov super early this month (I'm currently averaging CD12/13)... Loving the optimistic maternity shopping though - I shall be keeping everything crossed that you get to wear those tops very soon.

Yay for positive opks Mynameis. This is fabulous fabulous news. I really hope you're one of those people who although they might not ov every month is super fertile when they do, and that this is your month.

Sending lots of luck to all those in the tww. I was completely obsessed for the first 6 cycles and couldn't think of anything else in that period. Thankfully, I'm now a bit calmer as I suspect the odds are against us each month, but we'll see.
