Mrs Mc-I don't mind you asking-
We used an employee health scheme to have investigations after the second m/c, had the full range of blood tests and all that came up was a possible clotting problem.
Basically going by Lesley Regan's book, because we saw a hb at 8 weeks, my body has done something to the baby, which would tie in with the m/c, but as this is a fault with my genes, doesn't explain how DS1 &2 came along. We were then told that I would have to inject with Clexane to thin my blood from the moment I got my BFP.
Ironically when I tried to contact the consultant on the NHS number they told me I couldn't speak to him until Monday (it was Saturday at the time) but he had told me that every day counted. As I had seen him privately I then phoned him on his mobile number and he came away from family business to see me! He was so lovely about it all.
Unfortunately fate was being really cruel as this last time, something had gone wrong just after fertilization, meaning that this one would never have turned into a baby, so if I hadn't had to test early then I would have just though that it was a later period!
Just when I thought that I had a possible solution it had to be the time that the injections wouldn't have helped-still it proved to me that I can inject myself, which I was worried about, and I've got a stock of Clexane so that if I get a BFP there isn't such a rush to see the consultant, although I will have to be monitored to make sure that it's not ectopic as there would be comlications with the Clexane then.
Anyway, I'm looking to the future now as have had 3 different kinds of m/c (the second with severe haemhorragging) and hoping that my time will come as I'm gettimg older
