Any tww buddies??

Hey ladies, first day of the dreaded tww I'm praying it goes quickly! Anyone else testing around April 4th?

Blue, no idea on thermometers i'm afraid.

Started the opks today (CD8) and got a big surprise when a smiley face popped up. I usually ovulate early but this seems ridiculously early. I was busy getting ready and left the stick in the bathroom to do its thing. It was my DH who noticed it first and and was like 'so you're ovulating then are you? nod nod wink wink'. Ha ha. So i'm well on the way now to another 2WW already!!

How's everyone else? What CD are you all on? I know Stef and Jords are a couple of days further on than me but how about everyone else? Lisara where are you??

Hey Mimosa. I'm CD7, so not far behind you. First month using OPKs so will see how I get on . How often are people planning to dtd, if you don't mind me asking?

Sorry Rhi, didn't see your message. My advice with the thermometer would be definitely get one that doesn't beep! Mine beeps about 20 times and it is so annoying early in the morning and drives DH up the wall! I think BBT is useful over time as it shows patterns, but I think I'm right in saying that your temp rises after you ovulate, so best to use both x

Bit confused with opk's, when is best to test? Some comments I've seen suggest testing twice a day?

I'm quite new to the OPKs @RhiBee29 so not really sure. Have you been using them @littlemimosa?

Blue I've been using them the last two months and although the packet says to start testing at day 11 i start earlier. I usually test once a day to start with then if i'm not detecting the surge as it gets closer to mid-cycle i would test twice a day. All that has gone out the window this month though since i tested today and got a smiley first go!

So to answer your other question, this month we're only going to be DTD 2-3 times as i'm planning for today, tomorrow and maybe Thursday. Normally i'd go for every other day in the week after AF then maybe every day once i get the smiley face. Do you have a plan lol?

We do have a plan and it is v similar to yours! Every other day atm and then once a day once I get a smiley face. Poor DH came home with a terrible headache and went straight to bed this evening. Not good considering we were meant to dtd tonight. But fortunately he has been a trooper and has done his part regardless! (tmi lol)

Hi All. Cd11 here. I'll start with the opks and dtd every other day on Thursday... it's not quite as easy for us as OH has a medical condition that required medication that makes things difficult and means we have to plan in advance... it's why I'm really trying to use all the methods I can to pin point the right time... I wish it could be more fun and spontaneous ago
again but while we are ttc and OH is taking medication... well, here we are! Ready for this month though... doing more exercise and eating better.... here we come! Fingers are crossed for all of us!

AF due tomorrow.. test late Monday was a faint bfp (clear blue) and one I did first thing this morning was bfn (frer). No AF symptoms yet.

Will wait a couple more days to see if AF arrives and to do another test, I'll spend a fortune otherwise! I'm wondering if it's a possible chemical pregnancy.

Lisara sounds like a good plan, though I'm sorry things are a little more complicated with your OH having medication. Sounds like you are very organised though and really positive which is great

DH and I are ttc #1. fx for a BFP this month we are on cycle 7 now so taking a little while but trying not to panic yet!
