Sorry posted too soon.
Dtd every other day from the end of AF to two days after a positive opk.
@Stef good luck! I'm not far behind you. Cd5 here and will be getting started ehem very soon:) don't want to miss that egg!
@Rhi & @Luna hope you're ok and staying sane. Fingers crossed you're not out yet. Keep us posted.

xStefx · 08/04/2017 22:13

I tend to avoid sex straight after af as I usually feel like crap for a few days. But thinking about it , when I was trying for my dd I didn't know anything about cycles then and my dates worked out I had actually caught about a week after af x

littlemimosa · 08/04/2017 22:25

Interesting cos I caught really early and easily too with my second two pregnancies from dtd around day 9/10/11. With my first we were waiting for mid cycle (day 13/14) and it took ages to fall pregnant. Hmmmm

xStefx · 08/04/2017 22:28

I see a Monday night special coming up for you mimosa :-)
April train is leaving early this month is seems lol
Worth a try x

Slinkery · 08/04/2017 23:12

Hi I thought I'd hop in cause I'm losing my brains googling symptoms.

This is month 3 of ttc #1. I always have very swollen tender boobs before my period, so I'm not treating that as an obvious sign of pregnancy cause it always happens. But this month they feel extra massive to the point my husband even pointed it out.

I was due AF yesterday and nothing. Nothing all day today but some cramps so I suspect AF might happen over night. I took a pregnancy test today and it was negative. I've resigned myself that it'll be bad news but I have a glimmer of hope because we dtd lots last month.

The only unusual stuff I've had is today I had curry/chips and I felt a bit sick after them. Also I've been having bonkers dreams and have felt really sleepy. Confused

littlemimosa · 09/04/2017 07:14

Lol Stef 'Monday night special'!

Slinkery, welcome and good luck. It is a cruel thing that pregnancy symptoms are very similar to pms. Keep us posted hun.

RhiBee29 · 09/04/2017 07:54

AF has arrived so 28 day cycle rather than 25 hoping that will give us a better chance TTC. Going to try and dtd every other day from CD8 to cd18. Come on April!

Slinkery · 09/04/2017 10:36

I've woken up to no AF which was a surprise, but still a BFN when I tested first thing this morning :(.

I've looked at the past 4 months of what I recorded in my app and I've never gone beyond a cycle that's 30 days. I'm currently on cycle day 34. But I do keep feeling crampy feelings so I'm trying to stay level headed. I feel like by now I would surely be getting a BFP if I was pregnant. I thought maybe I had ovulated late, but my boobs started to get sore at exactly the normal time for my regular AF so I can't see how anything was different this month. I'll update if AF turns up.

Jords0105 · 09/04/2017 17:25

Hi how is everyone? Slinkery any update? Feeling positive this month! You know like I told you I had ovulation pain? I felt the exact same pain in the other side this morning. Could be nothing but it says both your ovaries are releasing an egg so who knows

@Rhi. So sorry. Hope you're ok It's always disappointing for a few days. Look after yourself, eat lost of chocolate then join us for this month's trip.
@Slinkery, any news?
@Jords, ovulation pain is always a good sign. I have always got it. Glad to hear your feeling positive. Fingers crossed its your month:)
How's everyone else?

Jords0105 · 09/04/2017 18:57

Thanks mimosa, what cd are you?

littlemimosa · 09/04/2017 20:30

CD6 Jords. Going to get 'going' in the next couple of days. How about you?

Slinkery · 09/04/2017 20:37

I have some brown spotting so I suspect AF is about to rear her ugly head. Nevermind, I half expected it to be honest!

Good luck Jords0105 and anyone else, I will have a drink his eve and get ready for next month!

RhiBee29 · 09/04/2017 20:53

I've heard 3 pregnancy announcements today! Staying positive, it's obviously fertile season 🐣

Jords0105 · 09/04/2017 20:56

I'm cd 9 mimosa, I've already started just incase although I'm scared I've already missed the window seen as though I've only dtd once since Af!! Who knows though cd9 is still early. Thanks slink sorry to hear af could be about to show. Let's hope we get our bfps this month or at least more than 1 this time lol!

Hi everyone. I've been away for the weekend and so have been reading through to catch up on everyone. Hope everyone is ok. @Rhi sorry to hear AF has arrived. @Luna any news? Hope you are ok. I think April is going to be a good month for this thread, so fx for us all! Hoping for lots of BFPs. As for my commitment to exercise more... well it is cd6 and so far not so good! I will start today though. Healthy eating also not going so well. Can't wait for Easter to be over. Mini Eggs are the work of the devil!

TheUltimate · 10/04/2017 09:30

Hi, can I join in? I'm in the tww, I think I'm 12dpo but could be 14pdo as I haven't tracked ovulation. AF due on Wednesday. I have 30ish day cycles, they vary but usually only by a couple of days. My luteal phase is usually 16 days.

I'm doing the dreaded symptom spotting! Want to test tomorrow, I am bloated, lost appetite, itchy nipple and producing cm. Fx for a bfp, we were ttc last year but after 5 cycles of nothing and an upcoming house move, we decided to put it off. I'm so tempted to test today though!

BlueSkies87 · 10/04/2017 09:52

Welcome @ultimate. Sounds positive, fx for you Smile Are you TTC #1? Keep us updated x

TheUltimate · 10/04/2017 09:59

Hi 👋🏽 @blueskies! This is #2, DS is 6 so a big age gap. Last year was a bit of a disappointment, I didn't want a large gap between DC but it wasn't meant to be. If it is a bfp, DS will be nearly 7.

Fx this month is your month too! Are you ttc your first?

BlueSkies87 · 10/04/2017 10:22

@Ultimate That will be quite a gap between your DC but I am 8 years older than my next sister and we are still close so don't let it get you down Smile Yes, we are TTC #1 and on cycle 7. I was really chilled about it, but as the months tick by I am starting to get a bit worried. Still early day though. How long did it take you to fall pg with your DS?

TheUltimate · 10/04/2017 10:47

AF does feel like a kick in the teeth when she comes. It will happen for you but I understand the frustration and disappointment. 💐

DS was a happy accident. I was on the pill and on a short holiday I forgot them. I fell pregnant around 10 days later as I let the gap turn in to a cycle break meaning I technically left myself not covered for 2 weeks.

Blueberry1 · 10/04/2017 11:06

Hi ladies, I'm on CD30 and DPO11 or 14 (depending on whether Fertility Friend or me got ovulation correct). LP +/- 12 days. NO AF, but light bleeding/discoloured CM on and off since Thursday (!).

Similar experience at Christmas when AF arrived after DPO 14, so could be same again. If my calculations are right (O = CD15), AF will be late tomorrow and BFP is possible. If FF is right, then AF due Weds or Thurs and no chance of BFP Sad.

@Ultimate, I'm trying not to symptom spot either, but it's very difficult! Am going to concentrate on work today & stop obsessing (so why I am here??!!).

xStefx · 10/04/2017 11:13

Hi everyone, welcome ultimate. Well its Monday and im due to ovulate on Thursday so im well and truly on the april train.

I cant believe how quick the months go by when your TTC...
its like everything is in 2 week blocks.
Hope your all having a nice Monday so far? x

BlueSkies87 · 10/04/2017 12:10

Thank you @Ultimate. I am feeling quite positive and haven't lost hope yet. It will all pan out ok in the end.

Complete know how you feel @Stef. My life seems to revolve around cycle days and 2 week blocks, like you say. @Blueberry fx for you Smile Keep us updated.

Not entirely sure when I ovulate so I'm going to use OPKs this month and am on my second month of tracking my BBT. Does anyone know of a thermometer that doesn't beep, because I'm only a month in and I already want to throw mine out the window?!

RhiBee29 · 10/04/2017 21:16

@BlueSkies87 mine doesn't bleep, bloody battery died and I can't find one to fit anywhere Grinlooks like I'll have to invest in a new thermometer. Bought it last month then didn't chart, DS has been playing Dr with it!

Is BBT accurate enough or should I use opk alongside?
