Welcome Luna... give it a few days... signs are good but our bodies are good at playing games with us... how long have you been ttc? Mimosa, sorry about AF but ovulatung and regular cycles are a really good sign that it will happen eventually. Blue... hormones are such a nightmare... don't know how are OHs cope.... Congratulations Gold!!!! so pleased for you!

RhiBee29 · 04/04/2017 21:11

Congrats Goldielocks! Good Luck Luna!

Going to temp this cycle. AF due tomorrow. I've got a BBT thermometer but the flipping battery is dead, trip to the shops for me, probably cheaper to buy a new thermometer than replace the battery. Any temping tips? I've not done it before?!

lisara79 · 04/04/2017 21:26

Rhi... Ive been temping for just over two months, this is what ive learned...
keep it by your bed and take it before you get out of bed...
If the room is cold, give it a few seconds in your mouth before starting the thermometer so it adjusts to the tempreture properly...
if the room is dark (and your termomiter has recall for the last temp) do the temp and then check it when you are in the light...
Use an ap to monitor it, I'm liking fertility friend. x

RhiBee29 · 04/04/2017 21:53

Thanks lisara, fingers crossed it leads to a bfp!

littlemimosa · 04/04/2017 21:54

Welcome Luna and good luck for testing.
Congratulations Goldie!! Was hoping for another bfp today on here. How long have you been ttc?
Hi everyone else. CD1 for me so i will be ovulating end of next week. Comes round so soon:) feeling excited to have another try. Anyone doing anything radical this month?!

littlemimosa · 04/04/2017 21:56

Meant to say by radical I mean anything wildly different to last month ha ha.
I'm going to give preseed a try and take my coq10 and try to sleep more!

lisara79 · 04/04/2017 22:14

Hello... I'm going to try getting a little more excersize, try a supplement (and try to get OH to take zinc and vit c)... cd2 for me and will ovulate.on about day 15 x

Jords0105 · 05/04/2017 00:08

Hi guys, I'm quite glad Af showed early I'm on cd 5 already! I'm thinking of temping this month too, will a normal thermometer work just the same or? I do have a proper one somewhere it's just a case of finding it lol. Gonna attempt to dtd every other day seen as though I have no rough idea when I ovulate so gonna try get all bases covered. I doubt it though it's never as straight forward as I hope haha! Once everyone's done testing we'll move onto a new thread and fingers crossed we get our bfps this time!!

AF is here so I'm officially out. Like we said before, it's always disappointing even when it's expected Sad. But really nice to wake up this morning to all the positive chat about next cycle. Exercise and better diet are definitely my 2 main things to focus on this month. Starting to feel more positive already Smile. Bring on the next thread and loads of BFPs. Xxx

littlemimosa · 05/04/2017 07:56

So sorry Blue. It is always disappointing. Allow yourself to feel that for a day or two but then look ahead:)
Exercise yes. I need to do more of that too. Got to be good for blood flow and fertility. How much does everyone do? I do something 3/4 times a week. Anymore than that and I get too tired and start to feel 'depleted'. Is that just me??

BlueSkies87 · 05/04/2017 09:13

I have been really bad this last month mim and have hardly done any exercise! Dreadful. So I am going to sulk today and then start again tomorrow. I think 3/4 times a week sounds loads... loads more than my recent efforts anyway! I think I will aim for that too. x

littlemimosa · 05/04/2017 09:39

How old are you Blue? I'm 40 and already have two young DC so they tire me out enough! My exercise is only like a gentle jog or some yoga. I'm not doing anything too hard. Do you get really tired in the week before AF like I do? First two days of AF the same. Yawn.

BlueSkies87 · 05/04/2017 10:47

I'm 30 mim and TTC #1. I have no excuse exercise-wise although my job is draining. I am a teacher, and whilst the holidays are quite jammy I work very long hours during term time. I teach a SATs year too which comes with a lot of additional pressure as we have to get certain % of children to certain levels. I love my job but it is all-consuming. So it tends to be lots of exercise during the hols and then the first few weeks of term but as I tire it gets less and less and the diet slides too. When it comes to tiredness, I do get really tired before AF and during, and very emotional too. (Cried whilst doing the washing up this morning for absolutely no reason whatsoever!) How old were you when you had your first DC? x

LunaNightSky · 05/04/2017 18:26

Thank you ladies!

Wishing you luck for next cycle Smile

I'm 29 and this is my second month ttc with our first.

Absolute torture waiting to test properly argh!

lisara79 · 05/04/2017 21:03

I'm 37 and ttc #1... I have no excuses with exersize but I still struggle to fit it in... I need to do something though... the excess weight I'm carrying is only going to impede the conception... x

littlemimosa · 05/04/2017 23:35

Blue I was 34. She's nearly 6. It took a while to fall pg first time. At least a year to 18month. But then with my second I caught first time. I m/c that time but then caught first time again after that with my DS. Weird really. Fertility is inexplicable at times.
I can only imagine how tiring and pressured your job is, no wonder u don't exercise that much! You must have v little energy left most days. Sounds like a yoga class would benefit u maybe rather than something intense like running/circuits?

littlemimosa · 05/04/2017 23:37

Luna when r u testing?! Fingers and toes crossed for you x

RhiBee29 · 06/04/2017 06:42

Morning all. Still no AF, due yesterday and just got a bfn?! Maybe my cycles are getting back to 28 days which they were pre ds and coil. So frustrating!!

BlueSkies87 · 06/04/2017 08:08

Lisara, I am in a similar position. I've put on weight since getting married and I worry that it isn't helping matters. But, being a rather anxious soul at times, I find myself feeling self conscious about exercising because I am not the size that I was. And that doesn't help either! Mim, I think yoga sounds like a fab idea. Might help deal with my stress levels too. I am going to look into it :)
Thank you for sharing your journey so far Mim and I'm so sorry to hear about your m/c. The more time I spend on here the more I realise fertility in a complicated and, as you said, inexplicable thing. So I am going to focus on being healthier and less stressed and let nature do its thing. I think I need to chill! Who are we waiting to hear from test-wise? I have lost track! Good luck to anyone testing today!

BlueSkies87 · 06/04/2017 08:11

Sorry to hear about your bfn Rhi Sad Hate those 'not knowing' days when you're getting bfns but no AF. Hopefully you will get some answers soon x

LunaNightSky · 06/04/2017 10:13

Thanks l@littlemimosa dp ordered two first response tests from Amazon Prime last night which came in an hour as we couldn't wait, it's come up bfn but I'm due af tomorrow. I think I'm out Sad

xStefx · 06/04/2017 14:55

Hey all , just checking in to say hi. I start my step class tomorrow so you never know that may help kick start some hormones lol
Fingers crossed for us all trying this month x

BlueSkies87 · 06/04/2017 17:13

Don't give up quite yet Luna Sad. Fx for you still.
Stef, that's great about the step class. Do you think we are ready for our new thread yet? x

Jords0105 · 06/04/2017 20:28

Hi guys, so as you know my Af came Saturday and finished monday/Tuesday and tonight when I wiped there was brown blood I thought Okay this is my uterus cleaning all the old blood out but now it's red and I feel like it's gonna start into a full flow.. This doesn't seem normal to me you don't think it was a chemical do you??
