January bus anyone?

Thought I'd start the January bus, anyone else hoping for their BFP to welcome in the new year?
My stats are -
Age 23
TTC #2
CD 10
Cycle -- hard to put a number on, been trying a year but have had two losses, 5w and 12w so not sure where to count from.

Hi OhB don't you just love the confusion OPKs bring? I can't quite bring myself to temp as I regularly get up at different times / have a cat on my head so I don't think it would help!

I thought I had a faint OPK yesterday but this morning...snowy white!! Meanwhile, the Clear Blue dual hormone sticks showing low through. God knows.

Expecting to be ovulating Sunday / Monday but now I'm thinking maybe a bit later! Some CM but tbh I can never really tell.

Can stress delay ovulation? I had a weird anxiety feeling in my stomach, I think work related...and now ironically, ovulation related!!

Well unexpectedly I am now cycle day 2! Can't believe cycle was a normal length this month . Maybe Angus Cactus does work after all. Should hopefully now ovulate before DH leaves in January to go back to work.

I'm sorry to hear you're so stressed london I'm not to sure but I'm sure stress can stop your periods so I'm guessing it can stop you ovulating🤔 That's only a guess tho!!

This was my test this morning on the OPK does anyone know if this means I should be ovulating soon?

I'm just going to shag every other day until I'm bleeding or pregnant that's my plan

I would say that you could be on your way to getting your surge Amz. Not quite there yet, but looks promising! I predict a weekend of DTD for you

I feel the ovulation confusion: while Ovia says I'm in my fertile window Clearblue has said low fertility yesterday and today (though not surprising as I had a long AF): I'm hoping I'll just have a longer cycle rather than not ovulate this one. Sorry, have no idea about the stick tests to help, think I'd be too confused by them so have found the clearblue ones online as cheap as poss.

hoho we made time for dtd on wedding night, but we had our big party the following night as had two day wedding, so that made it easier for us, but you should make time for it if you'd like to: weddings are about the couple and their love after all! I was fairly blunt about where we were heading to a few close friends...! Can't believe you're on here and seeming pretty ok so close to it: really hope it goes amazingly!

usually cd14 or 15, but has been even later like cd16 in a recent cycle (cycles were always 25-26 days except the last two when they were 32 and 28!)

I'm already bamboozled by all the different preg tests available - any recommendations for the best one to get when the time comes (yes I'm thinking ahead...)? Would like to avoid the Clearblue ones if poss purely because I hate the adverts! AF is due on Jan 3rd but I'm now thinking I would quite like to test on New Year's Day, but I don't know if that would be too early to tell anything.

I think First Response (FRER) ones (pink packets) are the most sensitive along with Boots own. FRERs get used a lot on this board! Clearblue ones aren't so sensitive so when I got a negative I was still wondering.
Personally I like to wait before testing as seeing a bfn really depresses me.

Can I join please? I'm feeling really down today. Had a bfn this morning and AF still nowhere to be seen and I'm staying over with friends tonight and just can't face any of it. I have really sore boobs and feel tired. My cycles used to be every 28 days without fail but since starting ttc my cycles have gotten longer just to make me feel like shit. Last month it was 33 days.
I convince myself every single month that I'm pregnant and that I'm feeling symptoms I don't usually have with my period and then AF always arrives. I can't believe it's this difficult, I was so naive and thought it would be easy.

Cycle: still on 6 soon to be 7 when AF shows

Welcome colour! It's so frustrating that something that is meant to be easy (I mean, evolution had to happen somehow!) can end up being so hard. Good luck with this month and hope you feel better soon.

AF arrived this morning a day late after I'd been having promising symptoms (sigh). Just bought some preseed so hoping that will arrive in time for my next FW.

So I finally got a clear blue "high" this morning so things are moving along finally! Probably means ov Monday or Tuesday? Hopefully see something on OPKs now too.

London that's great: me too! How many 'high fertility' days have you had in previous cycles before peak? Last time I had 4, so I'll be curious to see if it's the same this cycle, though it's started on a different day.

Im going to try and relax over xmas with my fertile time predicted new year ish. Going to try and be abit more sensible, drink more water etc etc and see where it gets me. Ordering a whole wad of OPKs too
