January bus anyone?

Thought I'd start the January bus, anyone else hoping for their BFP to welcome in the new year?
My stats are -
Age 23
TTC #2
CD 10
Cycle -- hard to put a number on, been trying a year but have had two losses, 5w and 12w so not sure where to count from.

Fingers crossed for all of you waiting for a BFP or AF. Hope she stays away.

I am using Clear Blue OPKs and got a low on Sunday so left it a couple of days as I have a long cycle and thought I was testing a bit earlier.

Did an opk yday and got a high having dtd the day before and yday.

Did another opk today and got a peak, so will dtd today and tomorrow.

Got my peak a full 4 days earlier than last month which is interesting. Ovia doesn't seem to know if it's coming or going when trying to predict my fertile window! It's still telling me it started when I had a low result!

CD16 here, first cycle off combined pill and I'm super excited to have found some EWCM!! (Never thought I'd be this happy about bodily fluid). There's not much as I had to stick in a finger and wiggle it about a little (gross) but it was def the clear stretchy kind. DTD last night, unlikely to manage today will try tomorrow (though I'm planning to have a few drinks on Friday, whoops) hopefully that'll be enough. Even if I don't get knocked up I'm pleased to see my body doing something

My period is due on Monday, cracked and did a FRER just now, as negative as negative could be! So I've put them away and vowed not to do another one until Monday! I just feel so sicky and exhausted this week must just be January blues although I suppose I'm still in the game until

Sorry to hear about your bfn Hmyh - like you say, you're not out and still in with a chance. I'm due af Monday but didn't manage to dtd in my fw this month, so I'm fairly sure I'm on the february bus... Knowing I'm more than likely to be out is the only thing stopping me testing early .... don't beat yourself up hun .... most of us can't wait to test :))))

Hope all are well?! And congrats to recent Bfps!

I'm still here hanging out at 3dp but today I've come down with some kind of chest virus thingy with chills and earache, the lot! right out of the blue! Feeling very run down and weak. Do you think this would scupper my chances of implantation ect if my body is so run down? (Hope not!)

Anyway hope everyone is well and I will keep checking the tread through my sorry sad state!

3dpo here and have just had a little bit of bright red blood loss. Only when I did a 'deep wipe'. I had just checked the position of my cervix to update my chart.
Now I'm obviously convinced that I had managed to get that egg all good and fertilised and now I've ruined it all by damaging my cervix while bloody poking around down there!
I know it's not ib as its way too early for that.
Urgh, why is it all so stressful?

It is so so stressful! I am on a bit of a roller coaster atm as have ridiculously sore tingly nipples and I have never had this before...it's always boobs that ache....never nipples. But then I rationalise that I'm at most 5dpo and it's way too early for anything. Then I've just dramatically declared to my husband that I'm never going to be able to have his children so we shouldn't bother.....he's a saint! Much love to all x

I think I'm gonna be sat here forever this month!! cd 19 and only just got a positive opk tonight!!! Was ill last week so guessing that's delayed my ovulation. Fx you ladies will keep me company in the wait!! Xx

I have had such a frustrating cycle, I just haven't been organised at all due to work commitments. I forgot to POAS to use the CBFM after the first few days (again due to early mornings at work) so we haven't had much of a chance this cycle.

Thankfully things are settling down a little bit, so hoping next cycle we can have a little more of a chance to DTD on the best days.

This month has been:

Cd6 - low
CD7 - high
Cd8 - high
CD9 - x
Cd10 - x but DTD
CD11 - x
CD12 - x but DTD
CD13 - x
CD14 - x
CD15 - today

Don't stress, you can't dislodge the egg by touching your cervix. You might have irritated it a little bit causing the bleeding but that's not a cause for concern.

It can take ages after implantation to get a BFP as the hCG takes time to double, that includes going past your expected period date.

Tip for those struggling with unusual cycles though/not sure when AF is due. Temping is the best method to determine your usual luteal phase length and hence the best predictor of when your period is actually due. Luteal phase doesn't change whereas ovulation day can.

Addtochaos - I think I'm just in the process of getting rid of what it sounds like your getting and I think as long as you dtd at the right time you should be fine! I'm gutted because oh and I both got it about 2 weeks ago and haven't had the energy to dtd since... we dtd cd 9 and I o on cd 14 so I'm highly unlikely to be upduffed this month ... due af on Monday ... already on the Feb bus and won't be wasting my frer's this month! Unless of course I'm late. Anyway my advice for what it's worth - lots of paracetamol, drink lots of fluids, full sugar hot ribena works for me, lots of rest - just give into it until you feel better ... hope it doesn't last as long as I've had it and hope you still get to dtd xxx

Af was due yesterday but still no sign, unfortunately a bfn on a cb so a little disappointed. It's only cycle 3 after coming off the pill so cycles could still be adjusting I suppose.

Was checking CM this morning and it doesn't seem as white as normal so I think AF is maybe coming none of the usual back pain I get either so wasn't expected. Getting fed up now!

hang in there ladies ... not out till af arrives! I'm sure you've got a better chance than me as I didn't even manage to dtd in fw due to stinking cold :(

Ok so I always get back pain for a few days before AF and I've had none. I also always get a tiny bit of spotting when I wake up, followed by horrific clotting AF within an hour.

I've now been awake 7 hours and still nothing and no pain. If I check for CM there is very little, but it has a brown tinge. I've got a dull ache in my stomach a couple inches to the left of my belly button.

I was thinking, I got my positive OPK 2 weeks ago today so counted Saturday as ovulation and today would be 13dpo. However the positive was at night so could I maybe have ovulated even later like Sunday or Monday and maybe just be implanting now? Or am I completely clutching at straws? Feel free to tell me I'm crazy haha. Just so unlike me to be late or not have back pain etc.

AF arrived this morning bang on time for me . I should have been expecting it really with not being sure I ovulated this cycle, but it's hit me really hard this time. I think it's worse because I had no pre-AF symptoms at all, so it was a big shock that it came on time! Oh well, hopefully lucky cycle number 3 for me...

Aw I'm so sorry hopefully it will definitely be third time lucky! I've heard of lots of people not ovulating for the month if they are run down etc maybe just with Christmas and everything?

I have a girls night out tonight just the two of us and knowing my luck I'll either not drink and come on while I'm out or have a drink and then feel horrible! Part of me wants to think there's still hope but the other part thinks I'm just getting my hopes up for nothing again!

That's interesting charley because I had noro over Christmas so maybe there's something to that. I'll now be avoiding anyone with so much as a cold this month just incase haha!

Ah it's hard to decide what to do re:drinking isn't it! Does your friend know you're TTC or are you keeping it just between yourself and DH? I think you've got to stay positive until AF arrives because until then there's no reason not to be you're definitely in with a shot. Hope you enjoy your night out either way, we've all got to let our hair down occasionally during this crazy journey haven't we!

novice - I think no period symptoms is a good thing from what I've read . I had that last month and proper got my hopes up so completely understand how low it makes you feel. Chin up and like you say hopefully 3rd cycle lucky xx
