January bus anyone?

Thought I'd start the January bus, anyone else hoping for their BFP to welcome in the new year?
My stats are -
Age 23
TTC #2
CD 10
Cycle -- hard to put a number on, been trying a year but have had two losses, 5w and 12w so not sure where to count from.

Only came off the pill on 10/12 after 8 years and can already tell I'm going to be impatient.
Doing my own head in already hopefully January is a lucky month for lots of us

How you feeling being off your birth control, have you had your withdrawal bleed yet? I'm sort of in the same boat as you I only stop my pill over 2 weeks ago.

Used OPKs last month but still BFN - had a little cry as our next door neighbours brought their perfect new little girl home the same day!

Gearing up for my fertile week which should be from Thursday ish - going to start with OPKs from Wednesday.

Also bought some preseed - DH is going to think I'm mental but he's pretty excited too & loving the regular DTD!!

Did you manage to get a possitive OPK last month london? I know my OH is really excited too!! He asks me everyday if I'm ovulating haha.. Bless him x

And I deffo had a very positive opk last cycle, where the control line was hardly visible, but alas.. It wasn't to be! They say even if you get everything right there's still only 30% of getting pregnant (think it's 30.. Or is it 28) urgh

Aw user a BFP would be an amazing way to kick off 2017!

I'm rubbish at working out months - would babies conceived this month be August or September babes?

September, I ovulate next Tuesday and that's a mid September due date x

Thanks DrRB. The thought of being pregnant all through summer makes me a bit twitchy but so worth it!

I would be due 9th Sept, but if you've already ovulated (beginning of Dec) then it will be late august x

Ah I'm ov December 18th, BFP due 2nd Jan :) I'm nervous. Didn't even realise I was pregnant until 7 weeks last time so first time properly TTC!

Yours would be due on the 11th September, if you have a normal cycle. I'm really hoping this is our month! Trying everything but my first pregnancy I didn't do anything and it just happened! So odd x

Let's see what the next few months brings DRRB before I get to worried! It's always the way when you're not trying it happens. A lot of my friends have fallen pregnant like that 😄 happy accidents!!

Thank you Amz26. I've had massive headaches and feeling mardy with everything but trying to stay positive.
Not had a withdrawal bleed or period. Just want it out the way so I can crack on ha.

How have you found being off the pill?

I did get a positive OPK last month AMZ - didn't in cycle 1 so possibly didn't ovulate in my first post pill cycle.

My DH is very keen but has a fairly loose understanding of biology - last month I was as I thought AF was coming and he was like don't worry, we'll just DTD again tonight... !!

Although I had to do some googling when we first started as can't remember from school & been on the pill a long time - spent so long trying not to get pregnant!!

Hope you feel better soon shar I heard that's a common thing feeling rubbish after coming off! The Only thing I've found is I'm not as hungry as I used to be, which is a good thing as I have a big appetite! I've been off for nearly 2 weeks but I haven't had a withdrawal bleed just a few pains in my stomach, not much as happened yet :(

Ok London that makes sense.. Maybe first bleed was the withdrawal bleed? Not your AF. I know It strange, I keep thinking I've forgotten to take my pill 🙈

I'm at my desk at work ready to cry. I think (hope) AF might be on the way that or without the pill I'm just an emotional mess haha Amz26 hopefully it's on its way for us both .. or we're those magical people who become pregnant without even having a period or withdrawal bleed

AMZ I wasn't even that great at remembering to take my pill!!! No happy accidents though...

I've replaced forgetting to take my pill with forgetting to take my folic acid tablets...!

Hopefully amz26 it's horrendous at the minute. Are you taking folic acid?
