January bus anyone?

Thought I'd start the January bus, anyone else hoping for their BFP to welcome in the new year?
My stats are -
Age 23
TTC #2
CD 10
Cycle -- hard to put a number on, been trying a year but have had two losses, 5w and 12w so not sure where to count from.

We're both obvipusly determined for a bfp! 🙌 Ooh is it? I read not to take it while you're pregnant but wasn't sure about when ttc.

I am determined lol 🙈 I haven't heard that you shouldn't take it whilst pregnant as it's good to make sure you have enough omega 3 in your diet.. Does anyone else know about that?

I've not heard that amz and I'm an avid supplement researcher! I must look it up now..
I take fold acid cod liver oil and a baby aspirin a day (I have had a few mc in a row and it's supposed to thicken your lining and help with carrying successfuly) and also when pregnant I take pregnancy supplements and a cod liver oil, it came together in the conceive plus box so I take it x

It contains high levels of retinol forms vitamin a which you're meant to avoid when pregnant. I've found it on a couple of websites including nhs. Let me know what you find I'm intrigued!

Just had implant taken out last week, currently having either breakthrough bleed or first period (I guess breakthrough bleeding)

Have downloaded Ovia and I can tell I am already going to be obsessive!

or should that be withdrawal bleed? Arg not up on the lingo yet!

Welcome babybell I'm in a very similar position to you. Only thing is I haven't had any bleeding since coming off my pill :( I really think lots of women get obsessed they just don't admit it! I don't really think my OH knows the full extent to how obsessed I really am haha

We DTD on the day I had it taken out and I even managed to convince myself it might have worked first time - lol

Hope I'm not too late joining. Here are my stats:

30 (though 31 early Jan!)
TTC #1
CD 8
Cycle 2 post Mirena
Not sure when AF due as not convinced cycle regular length yet (though I did seem to ovulate last cycle)
Planning to test around 1/1 if no AF by then (though last cycle only 24 days!)

Last cycle I had spotting for a week before AF, so trying not to get hopes up for BFP yet, as cycle's not settled, but still kinda hoping all the same!

charley good to see you here: it's sounding good for you so fx you just tested too early yesterday.

It's nice that there are quite a few other new people on this thread, I appreciate that.

I'm really trying to hold off using my FRER until Thursday or Friday but I have a feeling I may pee on it tomorrow.... and then spend my Thursday, Friday off being miserable and getting drunk haha!

Amz how much folic acid are you taking? I get some as part of my regular vit but wondering if I should up it. I've heard about the Vit A thing in cod liver oil as well. Was just thinking about it today in the pharmacy - looked at the bottle label and it mentioned Vitamin D but not Vitamin A so not sure. Anyone got any more idea?

London if only it was as simple as your DH's suggestion! Would be so much easier. I'm also re-learning about cycles etc, but it seems to be the opposite to school where everything was about not getting pregnant. They way they talk sometimes you expect to get pregnant by a man so much as looking at you!

I'm using Ovia and it says my FW ended yesterday, but I haven't had a positive OPK so bit worried I'm not ovulating. I am going through a long cycle phase at the moment so determined not to test until AF due. See if that will last...

paper I'm taking 400ug a day of folic acid.. how much are you taking do you know? X

I take the same amount of folic acid as amz I do wonder about the cod liver oil now I'm going to have to do some more research into feel like I've thrown a spanner in by mentioning it

Well my periods due Friday and there was absolutely nothing on a FRER today so I'm going to just take it as a no this month and wait put my period I think.

Had a termination many years ago after a split condom incident combined with a MAP fail (flukiest fluke ever I guess, and so the wrong time) so now half of me thinks "Well, it happened by accident once so it should be easy this time" but the other half thinks "What if I ruined my one chance?"

So we will see how this month goes and try not to freak out!

How's everyone feeling today? What's people's test dates? So I can get excited for who's next?! I'm testing 31St/12 x

DrRB- I'm going to test 23rd as I'm still not sure of my cycle, I could of been one of the lucky ones who fall pregnant as soon as I come off the pill 👍 what about you? X
