January bus anyone?

Thought I'd start the January bus, anyone else hoping for their BFP to welcome in the new year?
My stats are -
Age 23
TTC #2
CD 10
Cycle -- hard to put a number on, been trying a year but have had two losses, 5w and 12w so not sure where to count from.

Thanks so much Amz! You're right of course, and it was a long time ago. I'm fine about it really, just reading too much into what it might mean now. I'm a few years older now though.

I could probably test as early as NYE I suppose, but I'm going to try to wait and see if AF comes on the 3rd as it's only my first month trying!

AF due 2nd January but I may test on the 1st if I'm feeling symptom-y, it'd be a nice little NYD surprise!

I totally understand where you're coming from, my very close friend had the same experience as you and now she's got a two-year-old 😀

Hi kraken I am similar, had a termination in my late teens and swing between the two exact same extremes of thought in regards TTC now. It was over a decade ago though so I am sure I am much less fertile now.

I know its a sad circumstance but glad I am not the only one, or rather what we are feeling is normal.

Well what I hoped was my period must have just been withdrawal bleed as it only lasted 2 days. Guess we'll just get back to DTD in the meantime!

I want to hold off testing till January. My cycles are going to be wonky and I know once I start testing I'm going to be doing it every day like a total madwomen!

Fingers crossed one of us gets a NYD surprise!!

Hi babybell it's reassuring to know I'm not alone too. It's such a strange feeling. You're right that it's sad, but life is what it is and we are where we are. A few of my friends have had babies recently and they sometimes say things to me like, "Just you wait until you're pregnant, the first trimester feels XYZ" or things along those lines - and I kind of want to tell them but never do. It must be so common but nobody ever talks about it. Sending lots of luck and solidarity your way!

DrRB nice to see we have similar testing dates! I'm feeling alright thanks, going to start with OPK tomorrow, which'll be interesting as think cycle might be up creek.So not sure how that'll have me feeling over the next few days.

charley all the best with the FRER when you use it: even if that's tomorrow and it's a BFN at this point there's still time if your AF's not due until Fri or Sat - I've read that some still don't show up for a while.

Yeh my last 3 cycles have all been 27-28 days and I ovulated on the 2nd so think I would have definitely shown today at 12dpo if I was oh well a drink filled Xmas it is

Hi amz, only on the 12 of this month and was shocked I still got my af as predicted on time, my doctor said if I didn't to wait for my first one at least. Just trying to gauge how often to bd and when to check for ovulation now

Oh wow that's really good! shark wish my body would hurry up and do something! My OH keeps saying don't worry about it, it's not going to go back to normal straight away.. Last time I had the implant out my AF started a few days later so I'm wondering why I haven't this time 😩

Day 2 of FW, still ill though so had my legs up for 15 mind then sneezed and it came out like a rocket 😂
I promised myself I won't track with opk this month as I'm turning mad doing it all the time, I always get the same ov date bang on time anyway. Trying to take a more relaxed approach, oh is not convinced haha.

DP has just suggested that we have no more sex until the wedding night so that we've really missed each other. I'm torn between "That's cute and it's only 3 more sleeps" and "PUT A BABY IN ME" (can you tell the wedding stress is getting to me now? )

Hello! Nipping across from December's bus after AF arrived yesterday evening, 4 days earlier than predicted *eye roll.

Slightly worried as it's meant my lp was only 10 days But, it's very early days in the ttc market for me so fingers crossed it's a bit longer next time.

Came off pill in August and after my breakthrough bleed, I had my first 'normal' AF in October (after 42 days). Started ttc at the end of November (after 41 day cycle). This last cycle was 31 days so they're coming down, but I guess still all over the place!

So, my stats are:

TTC 1
CD 2
Cycle 2
AF due who knows?!

Hey Ohb! When I got my +ve OPK I got another +ve the next day at about the same time. The day after that, it was really faint. I thought that must have meant I ov'd on the second day as you would normally ovulate 24-36hrs after your surge.
But to be honest if you're DTD around those days, you're doing your best to catch the egg, whenever it pops out!
