TTC baby number 2! December Christmas wish!

Hi Everyone!

Sooo stats:

I'm 28 yo
Have DS who is 2.7
Currently have a 26 day cycle (was much shorter but balanced out)
Casually TTC for about a year
Seriously TTC with proper tools ie charting for 2 cycles

This month OPK says I ov'd CD13/14 so due AF around 10/12. I have always been in tune with my body/cycle but kind of expected it to just happen (naively) as it did with DS. Turns out it isn't that simple!

Anyone want to start their tww with me or just share their stories?!

Hey I'm ttc number 2. I'm 24 DD is almost five now! Been trying seriously for almost a year with two losses, 5weeks and 3 months. Fx for bfp this cycle and a sticky one!! Af due Saturday x

Hey im TTC 2 , cycle 5 following mc in july CD 4 so would be due to test xmas day! Im so negative about the whole TTC following the mc so tired of the disappointment each month, hope this is all our month x x

Hey! I'm 29 and ttc #2 since march, have had a mc in Aug and another in oct, both at 6 weeks so really hoping that it is 3rd time lucky for a sticky one! DD is 2.1.

Currently 6dpo so will most probably test towards the end of the week. When will you be testing Dr?

Similar to you kskfred in that expected #2 to be as straightforward as DD...turns out I was very wrong! The charting and opks is all new to me this time. Is everyone else charting and using opks?

MrsY I dont chart , i had used the opks but i wont bother this month as its just stressing me out. Im trying to relax as much as possible this month but im constantly thinking about it! Ahhhh , how about you?do you use an app?

Yes charting, i use Ovia app, I bought a thermometer for bbt but haven't quite mastered doing it properly yet. Using opks too

I've been using Fertility friend it's quite basic but seems to be good for temping. Only started after my first mc as my cycles seemed to have changed, it's quite interesting but not sure I've mastered it either!

It's so hard to put it to relax and the back of your mind isn't it? Hopefully being busy in the run up to Christmas will help with that!

Kski, when will you test? Have you just entered your TWW?

Hey - can I join? Tentatively TTC #2 after miscarriages in August (5 weeks) and October (7 weeks), so also very much hoping to be 3rd time lucky. Bit older than you lot I think - 35 - also have DD aged 5. Like kskfred and MrsY87 had a relatively straightforward time of it first time round, so a bit unprepared for all the stress and sadness TTC #2 has caused so far.

I think I'm on CD17, but don't chart / temp / use OPKs - just standard pregnancy tests stress me out enough (I've had to stop buying internet cheapies as I use them far too early and get a bit obsessed - luckily I'm so tight that I refuse to use FRER or similar until after period is late!).

AF also due 10th/11th Dec, so just starting 2WW. Fingers crossed for lots of sticky BFPs!

mrsy I'm sorry about your losses.
If I tell the truth I'll be testing from tomorrow FMU until Saturday. I'm an avid poas'er and I'll be 11dpo. I do have absolutely no symptoms though, aside being sick alot but I have a food allergy so being unwell isn't uncommon for me.

Yes just entering the tww - opk went from peak to nothing between yesterday and today, and had a temp dip yesterday so i'm going with ov yesterday morning sometime?
I am terrible at symptom spotting so hoping i don't psych myself up this time, really hard not to though. Poas also becomes so addictive!

Dr looks like you're closest to testing at the mo - what are your thoughts on this month?

kskifred I don't feel optimistic this cycle, I think I've stressed too much from the last mc and been not very well, and you know that some time gets In the way and I'm still not sure what my cycles are doing as this is only my second and my period lasted three days longer than normal. I have had dtd every day though and three times a day I'm FW. Taken my folic acid and omega oil every day so there's really nothing more I could have done, atleast I know that! No symptoms though, I try my hardest not to symptom spot because it confuses me when I get AF and I am so convinced! Sorry for the essay x

Thank you! Not thinking it's going to happen as my boobs literally don't have the slighest bit of ache, and that's so irritating as it's only 3-4 days until af so you'd think they'd be here by then x

I am TTC #2

I'm 33 and have a DS who is 2yr 7m

This is my 9th cycle of trying. I had a BFP on cycle 1 but miscarried and nothing since.

Last month I decided to stop BF'ing DS in case that was why I was struggling to get pregnant so this month is my first cycle post breast feeding.

I had my positive OPK last night and they've been positive all day today too.

My period is due 11/12th of December.

Hi I have a nearly 4 year old ( born Feb 2013) been trying since September for #2, nothing yet.
My body convinced me I was positive last month but wasn't, and this month I started my period 5 days early ( not due until Wednesday) started brown spotting then a bit heavier but then stopped so I'm
Wondering if it's implantation bleeding but not feeling pregnant no other symptoms. I've got some cheap testing strips to test but not doing till Wednesday. Really hoping I am though :/

Conceived DS first month of trying so this is getting a bit stressful especially because I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks last month.

I've just started to do opks about a week ago to get an idea what my cycle is doing , got positive on Thursday and still positive five days later. Pregnancy tests negative though. Anyone any idea what is going on and for how long should we keep dtd?

Welcome writter and cooper Sorry to hear of your losses. COoper are you sure they are all positive,? Could you post a pic maybe? Unfortunately I dont have an answer for you but i guess your body is trying to gear up to do something x

Sorry I haven't taken any photos of them but yes they are all as dark as the control line since I tested on Thursday morning. I don't think I've ovulated yet as not had my usual ovulation pain and still have some Ewcm but not a lot of it.

Could it be possible that I won't ovulate this month if the ovary is having trouble releasing the egg or something? I'll be gutted if not!

Had some cramping and a temp dip yesterday so now starting to symptom spot massively wondering if it was implantation but nothing else!

have started taking COQ10 this month as I heard it helps improve egg quality. Anyone else taking any other supplements?
