Hi Everyone!

Sooo stats:

I'm 28 yo
Have DS who is 2.7
Currently have a 26 day cycle (was much shorter but balanced out)
Casually TTC for about a year
Seriously TTC with proper tools Confused ie charting for 2 cycles

This month OPK says I ov'd CD13/14 so due AF around 10/12. I have always been in tune with my body/cycle but kind of expected it to just happen (naively) as it did with DS. Turns out it isn't that simple! Sad

Anyone want to start their tww with me or just share their stories?!

Come aboard!

Has anyone used the SMEP method?

MrsY87 · 30/11/2016 22:46

Can't believe you tested at 2dpo ski! Grin

Trying to hold out from testing in the morning as I only have a digi so think it will be too early. Haven't tried ics yet as I just know how much more of a POAS obsessive it would make me!!

Welcome olly sorry for your mc last month Flowers

Kskifred · 30/11/2016 23:10

what cycle day are you now mrs?

OP posts:
MrsY87 · 01/12/2016 06:44

CD27 and 9dpo, couldn't keep myself from testing this morning and obviously got a clear not pregnant on a digi, stupid really as I knew that's what it would say at 9dpo! Will try and get some FRERs today but don't think this will be my month anyway!

Kskifred · 01/12/2016 08:02

I'm the same, you do it anyway even though you know what you are going to see! I don't think the digis are that sensitive, i bought a load of the ic ones that are 10miu don't know if they are any good though - feel like you probably get what you pay for but supposed to be early testing ones. It saves me some money if i'm going to go against my better judgement and test but it does make it too easy to grab one every day!

Temp dropped this morning so pretty certain I'm out this month and on to cycle 10 we go. Feeling quite down about it as I when we started ttc I assumed I'd be pregnant by the end of the year or even have had a baby. Sad at least we have a busy weekend planned to keep me occupied.

How is everyone else doing?

Writerwannabe83 · 03/12/2016 10:54

I'm feeling pretty despondent too. When the EDD of the baby I miscarried came round last month all I could think was "I should have a baby by now."

When I did miscarry (March) I thought that by the end of the year I would be pregnant again yet here we are with no BFP in sight.

I still don't know how I feel about having another baby - sometimes I really want one and then at other times I'm really nonchalant about the idea. It's a confusing journey all this TTC.

blackcherries · 03/12/2016 23:13

ringroads we do the SMEP method I guess but take it to mean 'start around cd8, do every other day then daily around ovulation time with a bonus round a bit after'. So don't think there's much cleverness going on, I just found the book to be helpful in explaining things.

Wombletor · 04/12/2016 08:48

Morning ladies

Can I join? I hope to try again this month.

I had an erpc last week for mmc.

I am 43 fell pregnant 1st month of trying in October, we were thrilled. I was taking a multi vit, omega 3, agnus castus, and epo until day 14. I didn't chart or temp just DTD on day 12 and 14, I did not expect a bfp. My only symptom was the absence of pmt, I was in a great mood for a change!

This month I'll wait until the bleeding stops, I'm taking the rest of the prenatal vits, omega 3, and ubiquinol, epo and I'm ordering some more agnus.

I'm not thinking about being 43, I'm not!

Take care and good luck everyone x

MrsY87 · 04/12/2016 09:54

Welcome womble sorry to hear about your mc, hope you are taking good care of yourself. Flowers

I get that nonchalant feeling too sometimes writer but I think part of that is trying to prepare myself mentally if we never manage to have a second. Other times I am obsessed about getting pregnant, hoping that a decent break from work and lots of fun with DD over Christmas is what I need.

Oly5 · 04/12/2016 10:22

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage womble. I'm also thinking of trying to conceive without waiting for a period after mc. I think the only reason they tell you to wait is because it's easier to date the pregnancy? As far as I can tell once you've got a negative pg test you're good to go?

Wombletor · 04/12/2016 12:26

Thanks ladies.
Oly5 Yes once a test is negative you can try. The only benefit of waiting is the LMP date, but an early ultrasound will confirm gestation. I'm going to test after 10 days and take things from there.

ringroads · 04/12/2016 17:44

Thanks black ,
Welcome womble.
How is everyone doing? Where is everyone at and whos due to test next? Grin

Writerwannabe83 · 04/12/2016 22:18

I'm 6dpo and will probably test on Friday Smile

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage Womble - I hope you get pregnant again soon Flowers

flymo79 · 05/12/2016 08:47

Hallo, think I remember a few of you from ago... Ttc #2, 5th cycle trying, cd34 have had a screwy cycle this time with messed up ov due to taking some b-vits (trying to improve luteal phase)... But my af is late, all (5!) hpts say BFN though... Am sure I'm out though and af on her evil broomstick way...

flymo79 · 05/12/2016 08:47

And sorry womble, very sad to read your news

flymo79 · 05/12/2016 09:25

Just read through the thread.. So many losses. So sad Sad

Kskifred · 05/12/2016 16:28

Still feeling cranky, been having af cramp pains again all day, but got another 5 days before it's due. Had a few different symptoms to normal cycle this month, but at the same time I feel like this isn't my month. Need to stop being neggers about it though as that isn't very helpful!

Also appetite has increased - will be pretty annoyed if BFN as been eating more and been trying to manage my weight. Fingers crossed I guess is all I can say for now.

Kski, how are you? Have you tested?
Im CD13 such a drag waiting for O ..

janiPop · 07/12/2016 16:08

Hi ladies, would love to join.

I've just turned 30 and ttc 2. I have a DS who's 13 months.

I'm on cycle 3 and CD 7. This month I'm using clearblue opk and will be taking baby aspirin. My cycles are usually 28 days but cycle 2 was longer which took me by surprise as I'm never late. This is why I'll be using opk this month.

Kskifred · 07/12/2016 22:04

Yes tested, still big fat bfns Sad

feeling so different to normal though my body is playing some badass tricks if a bun is not cooking in my oven!

SecretTryer · 07/12/2016 23:03

Hi janipop, excuse me butting in but just wondering, are you taking asprin before positive test or waiting?
I took it on my last pregnancy but can't remember when I started. Google says it can stop implantation so that why I'm reluctant to start yet.
Cycle 1 (and only I hope) , ttc#3,so gatecrashing.

ringroads · 07/12/2016 23:13

Welcome jani, Wishing you luck, as someone else has mentioned could you please elaborate on baby asprin plz? When would you take this and why? Thanks

ringroads · 07/12/2016 23:13

bakingmad83 · 08/12/2016 06:40
