TTC baby number 2! December Christmas wish!

Sooo stats:

I'm 28 yo
Have DS who is 2.7
Currently have a 26 day cycle (was much shorter but balanced out)
Casually TTC for about a year
Seriously TTC with proper tools ie charting for 2 cycles

This month OPK says I ov'd CD13/14 so due AF around 10/12. I have always been in tune with my body/cycle but kind of expected it to just happen (naively) as it did with DS. Turns out it isn't that simple!

Anyone want to start their tww with me or just share their stories?!

So here's this morning opk (sixth day in a row)it's slightly fainter than yesterday but would you still class it as positive and keep dtd?

I would keep dtd just in case but it looks negative now x
POAS at 4 am and it was the biggest BFN ever would have thought I'd get alteast something at 11dpo if anything was there to see.. Alteast it gets me prepared for AF when she comes x

Welcome ladies! Sorry to hear you've also had losses.

Sorry about the BFN Dr but you still have plenty of time! Some people don't see their bfp for days after af is due - hang in there.

cooper I would say that is a negative, if it was stronger before I would imagine your surge has already happened although wouldn't hurt to dtd again today as if you ovulated yesterday you could still have a 24 hour window?

With my DS I had implantation sickness - I remember suddenly feeling so off and I just knew then that I was going to be pregnant that month - funny how in tune you can be with your body! What is does mean is that I'm waiting with baited breath for all the same symptoms

Cooper. You shouldn't be using FMU for OPK. You should be testing around 2pm and holding urine without drinking for 3 hrs. Testing with FMU will give you random results. X

They might not be sensitive enough to pick up the lower hcg levels in 11dpo urine

i think they might not be sensitive enough to pick up bfp yet, i bought a load of ICs on amazon that were 10 miu

I have had quite bad af like cramps this afty which I usually get around ov, but I guess I haven't charted before last month so maybe they always come after ov and I just assume it's ov as didn't know IYSWIM. Either that or I am actually ov'ing later than thought (which would leave my Luteal phase too short ) but with my temp dip etc i'm hoping I was fairly accurate in pinpointing this month.

Also quite thirsty and appetite + but generally in quite a good mood, for no particular reason!

Kski , I see what you mean but if youve been temping im guessing thats pretty accurate?
I have 7 opks , i told myself i wouldnt use them this month but im tempted to just use them up

After 24 hours of positive OPKs the one I did yesterday was negative so I'm assuming I've ovulated now. We have only DTD once as we planned on doing it last night but I was so exhausted when I got home from work (9.30pm) that I just didn't have the energy.

I've got a day off today though so hopefully I will have recuperated enough to DTD and hope that I'm one of the ones who ovulate 36 hours after my surge so I may still have a chance to catch the egg.

The egg lives for 12-24 hrs too writer so your still in with a chance!

8dpo here, temp has risen again after a dip at 6dpo but I know that doesn't necessarily mean anything. No other symptoms to spot, no matter how much I prod my boobs! Going to try and hold out to POAS until Friday but expecting a BFN anyway!

Still no symptoms here, no AF symptoms either and that's so weird as I usually have cramps and sore boobs before AF by this time. BFN again, totally sure it's not my month.. Atleast I can have a merry Christmas hey! I need to start dieting, I binge ate my feelings after mc and I think that's not helping things x

On CD19 and symptom spotting like crazy, even though I know it's far too early! In my last two pregnancies, which ended in losses, I couldn't wear my contact lenses in the 2WW as eyes too dry. This seems to be happening again! Bit of an odd symptom - anyone else had this?! Also have massive spot on my forehead, which is rubbish, BUT I don't usually I get spots at this point in my cycle, so hoping this is a good sign..

Anyone else desperately straw-clutching?

Dr, I've never had a BFP until after AF, so not everyone gets early lines - you're not out yet. And, MrsY87, for me boobs not hurting in 2WW is a sign of pregnancy, as I get this as part of PMS, but when pregnant sore boobs don't kick in until 6 weeks ish.

Dr I think no AF symptoms is a GOOD sign - definitely is for me anyway. Don't give up hope! Agree that Christmas makes it all a bit easier to bear - either lovely, exciting BFP or bucket loads of mulled wine and Stilton [insert Christmas treat of choice]. So it's win-win really

Can I join you ladies? I'm 39 and TTC number three but suffered a miscarriage last month. I'm using the clear blue digital which is good. Seem to fall pregnant quickly in first few months of trying but am getting worried about one sticking due to my age.

obs thank you, I normally have real sore boobs that I can't even touch when pregnant, the week before positive test. And they are very sore when AF Is due too. After my mc my first period sprung up on me, no sore boobs or cramps just woke up with it! So I'm thinking this is going to happen again.
The dry eyes is a weird one! I know what you mean about strange symptoms though, I've been pregnant three times and every time I get a bad cold right after conceiving. I seem to be the only one who gets that one. Good luck for your bfp x

I've woken up with a rotten cold/chest although it could be to do with whacking the heating up last night.

Also still got dull AF type cramps that haven't gone away (not as uncomfortable as yesterday) they don't normally last this long. Loss of appetite a bit which is unlike me.

I eat my feelings too dr - i gained a really unhealthy amount of weight with my first and have managed to undo the majority of the damage but i'm still classed as borderline overweight. Been trying to slim down for general happiness but now it's also a health/conception thing.

My mood has declined somewhat too today and have snapped at dp a fair bit!

I know...mental POAS'er. It becomes part of your day after a while whether its OPKs or HPTs!
