Shiny new thread. Here's the link to the previous one.

I don't think it does necessarily mean that, no. I suddenly stopped getting any PMT symptoms at all after my mmc (having previously had loads) but obviously have been ovulating. Good news you were on cd26 yesterday, so hopefully that means dates work ok for the clinic?

MrFuzzyGreen · 27/11/2016 12:28

Thanks Giz. I know I haven't caught this month but I hope I'm still ovulating. Yes, if I can hold out til Tuesday we'll be good to go. No signs so far, so fingers crossed. How are you?

Gizmojo · 27/11/2016 15:14

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you too.

I'm not fantastic, to be honest. I've had a coupe of incidents of yellow and, today, orange (??!!) CM when checking. Maybe I should stop checking... And pretty much no symptoms, just big boobs and occasional, slight, nausea. Still 'wait and see' for the next week but I'm not confident.

MrFuzzyGreen · 27/11/2016 15:57

Hum. Yellow I get a lot of in pregnancy (healthy or otherwise). Orange I don't remember, but I did have brown at 6 weeks with Billy-Joe. I had an emergency scan and he was fine. They explained that implantation continues for weeks and spotting early on is usually just that. My miscarriages have all started with blood streaked mucous, the blood being small amounts but bright red. I'm pretty sure that brown & orange is usually old blood or mucous, which is ok.

I'm sorry they've left you waiting so long Giz. The uncertainty is terribly stressful. I know the symptoms (or lack of) is a worry, but I had every symptom under the son in May-June, and it meant diddly-squat. The morning sickness even carried on for a week after the D&C. Really hoping your little bean is cooking up nicely. What day is your next scan? Sending an e-hug xx

MrFuzzyGreen · 27/11/2016 15:58

*sun, not son. Sausage fingers.

Gizmojo · 27/11/2016 23:33

Thanks, fuzzy - I can use all the hugs I can get Cake xx And I'm sorry, I realise I'm being a right moany/fretty idiot and should just be grateful for the fact I am, at the moment, pregnant and that it's not ectopic/molar/etc. I do keep reminding myself of that and trying to be positive about that.

Next scan is not until next Monday (5th December). I can't really complain, I know they have to leave it long enough so that they can see a difference.

Bloopbleep · 28/11/2016 09:19

giz I've had a rainbow in my pants since my bfp. Yellow is really common and orange too. Both can be cm or urine -mine is luminous! I also got peachy orange around the time the placenta would've been implanting and had been warned to expect it by sonographer at scan.

IAteSomeofthePies · 28/11/2016 09:41

Giz I don't remember particular colours to my CM but I was awash in it in all 3 pregnancies. In my only successful pregnancy I had no idea I was pregnant until I was 7-8 weeks because I had zero symptoms until then and had a bleed that I thought was my period. All pregnancies are different! Fingers crossed that this one is a lucky one for you. I hope this week passes quickly. Flowers

Fuzzy I hope AF holds off until Tuesday.

Bloop I hope things are going well for you.

Thanks for the posts about random ewcm pre-period. It's a new one for me. I hope it doesn't mean I ovulated then, as DH was away so no chance.

Hope you're well, ababs?

Hello to everyone else! I can't refer back since I'm on my phone.

Clara101 · 28/11/2016 14:09

Hello everyone, hang in there Giz, I'm hoping that all turns out well for you.

Good to have new people on the thread, welcome ladies. Sorry for the tough times everyone has had.

Pies, safra and ababs, I'm with you, hoping for luck at 44... I'm cd 25 or so but sure I'm down and out this month. I've been recommended to try EOD 10-17 so gonna try that for a while. Is there anyone who has got on with temping who can recommend me a good BBT?

Hoping AF stays away for you Fuzzy.

Alibaba2 · 28/11/2016 16:27

Hi Clara,

You're on the same cd as me but I know I'm out this month as have been so grumpy at the weekend and started spotting today.

Just got my progesterone results back from the GP and they are normal, apparently.

Just waiting to be referred for a scan now to check the lining and follicles I guess.

Good luck everyone.

Gizmojo · 28/11/2016 19:33

Thanks, ladies, and sorry again for being such a stress-head. Roll on next week!

Pies fingers crossed! Did you have it earlier in your cycle as well?

Clara I temped for a while but was just about to switch to doing it vaginally rather than orally, as I think I'm a mouth-breather when sleeping - I could always see the temp shift but through the month it was sometimes a bit all over the place. I just got a digital one from Boots, tbh but if you look on ebay or amazon there are loads, some even come with charts so you know they're specifically for fertility temping.

Hi Ali sorry to hear af is on her way. Have you been told how long you need to wait for a referral?

Bloop how are you doing? And ababs hope all is ok with you.

Alibaba2 · 28/11/2016 19:38

Hi Gizmojo,

I was referred after 6 months but I won't get funding for any treatment and I'm not sure I'd go down that road anyway as I have 2 kids already.

I meant to reply about the bbt. I did it for several months and it was interesting and useful to know I'm ovulating but I've given up now. It just interrupted my sleep too much and I took my temp at very varied times. I still occasionally use it just to check but I know when I ov as I can feel it.

Has anyone here had a scan to count follicles?

MrFuzzyGreen · 28/11/2016 21:56

Thanks all. No AF today so I'm good to go. I'll be glad to get it out of the way so we can roll onto donor eggs.

Ali I had my Antral Follicle Count done at Care. My fibroid got in the way but they could see 3 on my right but said it was probably more as they could only see about 1/3 of my ovary. There were 6 on the left. Strangely, when I had IVF, I ended up with only 3 on my left and 8 on my right (plus lots on both that didn't develop).

Clara like Ali I found temping buggered up my sleep so I only did it for a month (sleep is an issue for me at the best of times so I had to prioritise). It confirmed ovulation, but i would have known if I'd waited anyway as I had an early mc that month. My temps were always freakishly low (mouth breather) but still showed a good temp shift.

Clara101 · 29/11/2016 17:26

Sorry re AF Ali, I'm sure I'll be there too in a day or so. Good yours held offFuzzy... I think you said preparing for second IVF cycle and if no go roll on with donor eggs?

Thx both for the tips on BBT. I've never got on with it in past but will try again.. Ive also been recommended a progesterone test Ali so will do that next month. I'd never thought of it in past but they said to check it is high enough post ov.

Hope everyone else is ok? Bloop and Giz, how are you?

Alibaba2 · 29/11/2016 18:38

Fingers crossed AF stays away Clara - do you have any symptoms either way?

I was concerned about my progesterone levels as I get spotting at least 2 days before AF but I feel hot but shivery in the luteal phase and get crazy dreams so took that as a sign of having progesterone in my system. Are all your tests on NHS or only some?

Did you get FSH and LH checked already?

Bloopbleep · 30/11/2016 20:08

Hey thanks for asking clara and gizmodo

I had my booking appointment today which made things feel more real. Turns out I've lost 8.5kg being sick and nauseous but I could easily lose the same again and still not be idea weight ;)

How are you all doing?

Bloopbleep · 30/11/2016 20:08

Dammit gizmojo (autocorrect doesn't like that no idea who gizmodo is)

ababsurdum · 02/12/2016 13:18

Hi everyone. Just a quick one and I'll catch up properly later. I'm on cd12 and got a flashing smiley yesterday. I only started opk's on cd10 as I kept forgetting to use them. A fair amount of ewcm on cd10 but none since. We are dtd eod at the moment.

I had a few sad moments last week as another friend told me about an early pregnancy. Really happy for them but feel time has run out for us. I spent a bit of time looking on the single child families board but it just seems full of people worried about the same things as me. I'm feeling better this week though, onwards!

Good luck to everyone Smile

Hi ababsurdum,

Sorry, I'm fairly new to the thread (well, have dipped in and out over the past few months), what's your story? Why do you think you've run out of time? What are your options?

Alibaba2 · 02/12/2016 18:41

Sorry for posting this twice but not getting much response on the main board...

I'm hoping someone can give me some clarity on my situation...

I fell pg accidentally in March but had a MC in May.

Since then we have been trying to conceive again.

I have 2 DC already (5 and 7) and conceived easily.

I've had some initial blood tests: LH 3.1, FSH 9.3, progesterone 42. OH is waiting his sperm analysis results.

I have regular periods and ovulate every month. My periods are perhaps a little light but have been like this for years. My cycles are the same length as always.

I can be referred to a NHS fertility clinic but this will be self-funded obvs. The initial appointment is £400 and they will run the same tests we've already done plus AMH and ultrasound.

I can also get AMH and ultrasound done elsewhere for £200 but without a consultation.

Should we carry on ttc a bit longer or am I running out of time?

Bloopbleep · 02/12/2016 19:27

Alibaba - your stats are good and you know you can get pregnant. I had mc last Jan and it took until sept/oct to get pregnant again. As long as you're periods are regular you're ovulating (your prog also says that) so it's just a case of catching the egg and I'm sure that's down to luck more than anything else. I'd say keep going until it's been a year then maybe reconsider helpcor giving up but I understand the dilemma you feel you're in.

Alibaba2 · 02/12/2016 20:15

Thanks Bloop, that's just what I needed to hear. Thank you.

What's your situation? Was it last Sep/Oct you fell pg?

Clara101 · 03/12/2016 07:38

Good news on your booking appointment Bloop!

Feel for you on those moments Ababs, it's really tough.. I think we are round about same age and I often get into the what ifs but try to stop myself.

Ali, I've not had FSH and AMH tested as figured it wed only depress me if results not good! Instead i try to do the things people say can help us ladies in our 40s improve our results if not good. Your progesterone sounds good. Doc told me anything above 20 is good.

No AF here yet tho symptoms been telling me she is en route so still just waiting.

Fuzzy, how are you? Are you starting priming for your next IVF cycle?

Alibaba2 · 03/12/2016 08:03

Any 40+ tips Clara? Hope AF stays away. Do you test to know when you ov?

MrFuzzyGreen · 03/12/2016 08:40

Congrats Bloop. It must be sinking in as real now you've got your big white folder!

Ali your results look amazing. I haven't had LH or FSH but my progesterone was 31.

Hi Clara. How are you? AF arrived late on Wednesday. In IVF terms, day 1 is the first full day of full flow, so technically Thursday was my day 1. So I start the priming on Monday. Other than that, we're not great ATM. We don't celebrate xmas for obvious reasons, but it's impossible to avoid it. It's really getting us down. It was the anniversary of Billy-Joe's funeral last Friday, which hit us both too. DH is very depressed but he doesn't want to take antidepressants while we're ttc. I keep thinking that we'd have another baby in our arms by now if our first 2 hadn't mc'd, or at least one due in January if we hadn't had the mmc. It wouldn't bring our boy back, but at least we'd have some joy back in our lives. It's just a tough time of year. Roll on January!
