Hello lizzie sorry about your miscarriage, I don't no the actual changes but I do no after one miscarriage your chances of having another healthy pregnancy are very good, your much more likely to have a successful pregnancy than a miscarriage. I understand that fear though, I felt the same after my first miscarriage but I went on to get pregnant with a healthy pregnancy less than 3 months later, he's 2 in a couple of months. Hopefully your partner will come round after the shock has worn off Flowers

bonbon welcome also, and sorry for your losses. I hope you find lots of support here, I no I do Flowers

I'm waiting to have another attempt at the smear with the GP, who's male, doesn't bother me when it's a specialist doctor but I just imagine a male GP probably doesn't do many smear tests or internal examinations so I'm even more nervous!

Thanks everyone for the kind words yesterday, hope everyone is well

Brenna24 · 27/07/2016 11:35

Hi bonbon. So sorry about your losses. There is a lovely crowd here to help pick you up on the bad weeks.

Lizzie you are at no more risk of a second one having had one. There are an unlucky few who have more than that, who are probably quite overrepresented on here are we stick around a lot longer, so it may seem much worse than it actually is. I know they are awful and it is terrifying to ever have to face it again bt the alternative is just giving up now and not trying again, which is equally bad. I hope you get pregnant again quickly and that this one sticks. Everything crossed for you.

I hurt. I did Bodypump on Saturday at the gym, Yoga on monday and GT30 last night. Plus a lot of extra cycling this week. If I haven't lost some weight I will be most upset.

Brenna24 · 27/07/2016 12:01

Oh and The Witch got me yesterday, right on schedule. So I have another month of getting fit and thinner to help things out. Sad

Jjspoon · 27/07/2016 12:43

Hi ladies. We dtd last night for first time after mc and now today I have fresh bright red spotting. I've never had bleeding after sex before... is this normal? Anyone else have this after their mc? I had no bleeding Monday or yesterday.

mrs that's brilliant news! Yes please stick around and let us no how your doing, I'm so happy for you

AGnu · 27/07/2016 21:45

Congrats Mrs! Fx it all goes smoothly for you now!

I'm spotting. No idea if it's just spotting or if it's going to continue. I had D&V this afternoon so I suppose there's a chance that caused a bit of irritation or something but I'm not holding out much hope! It's so frustrating - we conceived both previous DC in the first month of trying with no issues & now it's looking like we've lost 2 pregnancies in a row. I'd quite like to move into a hospital & have everything constantly monitored so I'd know exactly what was going on in my body... not that I'm a control freak or anything... Wink

INeedNewShoes · 27/07/2016 21:46

Mrs this is wonderful news Smile .

Please do stick around. You're our reminder that there's hope! And clearly a good advert for acupuncture!

Fantastic news Mrs. Stick around and keep us updated. I was wondering if this would be your month. It all sounded so good. I am really happy for you.

Jj I think it is ok, just give everything another few days to settle down again.

McBaby · 28/07/2016 08:52

So so confused any suggestions welcome. I have been taking pregnancy tests daily for the last 8 days till I got a negative test with fmu. So yesterday it was negative after the previous two days I being v v feint. I thought I would do one more today to make sure it's negative but it's defiantly positive! So is this dodgy tests, dodgy hormones, or the start of something new (defiantly do not want to get my hopes up)!

INeedNewShoes · 28/07/2016 08:59

Have you being using the same tests? Different brands show vastly different strengths of line in my experience.

It wouldn't surprise me if HCG can waver up and down a little on it's way down but if it's stronger again tomorrow, I'd say it's possible it could be the start of something new.

McBaby · 28/07/2016 09:05

Yes using the same tests everyday with fmu. I guess it's just a waiting game!

Signing up!

brenna I'm sorry af got you... You are so positive! I like your thinking though, I need time to get fit and healthy so every new cycle gives us that opportunity!

mcbaby were they all the same kind of test? That happened to me. Thought I was negative then got a positive and thought I was pg. how long has it been? If you can you could get bloods taken to know the exact level?

jodiebee664 · 28/07/2016 10:38

Mrs - can i ask where in your cycle you were when you started the acupuncture? AF arrived for me on Monday this week so I'm keen to start as soon as possible - am booked in this sat :) Was just curious as to when you started.

AGnu · 28/07/2016 13:06

I'm properly bleeding now so I guess it's back to square one! Not sure when we'll think about trying again. We've got a family wedding abroad we'd quite like to go next year & had this one stuck the baby would've been 6wo when we flew. Assuming my cycle is straight back to normal, I don't much fancy flying halfway round the world 2 weeks after giving birth! But that means we'll have to take a few months off trying so I'm not too far along to fly. Really didn't want to do that but we'd love to make it to the wedding if we can!

Brenna24 · 28/07/2016 13:29

So sorry AGnu.

jpeg28 · 28/07/2016 17:03

I'm really sorry ag... Such a horrible tough time for you. I hope you're being well looked after.

So today is cd19 for me and I noticed a huge about of CM earlier... Went to the bathroom as it actually felt like I had started af. It was Ewcm so I took two OPKs and both positive! I am so excited as this is the earliest I have ovulated since the miscarriage. Maybe I'm returning to normal!!!

Brenna24 · 28/07/2016 17:05

Sounds great JPEG. The last cycle we conceived on I had absolutely tons of EWCM, normally I only get a tiny bit. I remember running out the bathroom shouting "I have loads of fertile CM. We need to go to bed RIGHT nOW. Seriously, it looks like somone sneezed in my pants and it is the size of a jellyfish." Amazingly that chat up line worked. Grin
