That's good purple that you've told doc and they are doing bloods. Everything x for you.

Ha anyone tried acupuncture before? I'm wondering whether I should give it a go. It's mega expensive so want it to help!

Thanks Mrs, just before jpeg posted about acupuncture, I'd been thinking about trying it! Do you mind if I ask how much it costs and how often do you need to go. Does it then stop if you get BFP? Really hope this does work for you! :)

Thanks so much mrs that's really great to hear how much it has helped you. My OH is very sceptical about stuff like acupuncture and I just think why not! My problem is I'm always so stressed and I think if anything it might help me relax more! I just want my cycles to return to normal so then at least I know there is a possibility of getting pregnant! X

I feel like I've just boarded a rollercoaster and I have no control of how the ride will be. I can't seem to think positively and actually I don't want to think positively. I think it's a level of protecting myself. Which is silly right, either way I'll be hurt? Doesn't matter how I feel , I'll still be hurt. Trying not to think about it but it's taking over completely!

Thank you Mrs.. Now just to get through each day...

Alb1 · 26/07/2016 11:49

Sorry to just jump back in, havnt read properly but just glanced and congratulations purple! I'm keeping everything crossed for you!

Went for my smear this morning and the nurse couldn't find my cervix to do it, iv never had this sort of problems before so I'm even more worried now, i just don't no what to think but I'm sure something must be wrong. Today is cd14 so I should be ovulating and no signs of that either Sad

Miami81 · 26/07/2016 12:42

Alb. That's happened to me before, wasn't until we started to ttc that I realised that high hard to find cervix = ovulation, for me anyway. So get to some dtd if you can?!

AGnu · 26/07/2016 14:34

I had a chemical last month. AF wasn't even late but I had a couple of faint BFPs on early tests. This month AF was due on Sunday so I tested & got a light BFP. Tested again today & again it was positive but lighter than Sunday. I'm getting cramps now & fearing the worst so I'm trying to get my head around what to do next. Once I could just about shrug off as one of those things but 2 in a row when we've already had 2 DC with no issues seems a bit weird.

At what point should I go to the GP? I know a friend of mine was given progesterone to stop her having recurrent miscarriages but I don't know if it's different with chemicals. Is there anything they can do? I don't want to take up the GP's time if they won't do anything.

jpeg28 · 26/07/2016 14:36

mrs I have everything x for you and hope that a BFP is just around the corner. I'm so up for trying acupuncture! My local one says £70 initial session and then £45 after that... Need to find a cheaper one!!

alb I was going to say the same... High cervix means ovulation! Good luck!!

No sign of ovulation yet for me, cd17, last month was cd31 and before was cd25 so I've still got a lot of waiting to do! Been doing so much diy today but now it's time to sit in the sun!

Alb1 · 26/07/2016 14:55

Oh I asked the nurse if it could be that as I thought the cervix changed positions but she said no it has no effect were you are in your cycle Confused I'm going back tomorrow for the doctor to try as he can do an internal examination aswell so probably can't DTD tonight anyway. Thanks though, knowing it can just move in my cycle has made me relax abit!

ag sorry about your loss. I always get AF cramps at the normal time when pregnant and that has never been a bad sign for me so it could be compleatly normal Flowers

mrs I'm keeping everything crossed for you still, I so hope this is your month

jpeg28 · 26/07/2016 16:52

ag sorry I think we posted at the same time... I'm really sorry you're going through such a tough time! Maybe just see the GP if it will put your mind at ease.

Thanks Mrs you've really inspired me to try it now - you sound so positive about it, I'm glad it's made you feel like that after you'd be so down recently. I've googled a few local ones and found some for £40 a session - going to try and book in this weekend!

Purple congrats all going well so far - everything crossed it continues, you deserve this!

Jpeg I hope you can find a more reasonable accupunturist and can give it a try too!

Alb hope you can get some answers

Hi everyone, mind if I join? I have been lurking for a little bit but have just starting TTC again this past month after an early miscarriage at 5 weeks in December and then a mmc at 7 weeks (discovered at 9 week scan) followed by ERPC in March. Stupidly thought I might have implantation bleeding this month as I started bleeding a good 5 days before my period was due - am normally like clockwork - but no, turns out that my cycle is just messed up. Am feeling very teary today and annoyed that not only do we have to cope with miscarriages, but also the after effects of messed up cycles for months and months after. Am desperate to get pregnant but terrified of having another miscarriage as I am not sure a could cope mentally. Really sorry for all your losses x

Lizziedoll · 27/07/2016 10:49

I miscarried my first pregnancy last week. It looks like I've already stopped bleeding one week on. I want to try again but my partner doesn't seem so keen. Does anyone know the actual chances of me losing my next pregnancy? I'm just so nervous about going through this again

INeedNewShoes · 27/07/2016 10:56

I think that after only one miscarriage they say that your chances of a healthy pregnancy are the same as anyone else.

It's only if you have multiple consecutive miscarriages that it is indicative of a problem.

I've just done a quick Google to find some info for you and the first thing that came up (on the Mayo clinic website) was this:

Miscarriage is usually a one-time occurrence. Most women who miscarry go on to have healthy pregnancies after miscarriage. A small number of women — 1 percent — will have two or more miscarriages.
