Hi all, welcome mouse, I'm cd16 now and I think 4dpo but that's just a guess, currently dying of the common cold which is at least preventing me from symptom spotting! Anyone else planning on watching the Alex jones 'my fertility and me' documentary on BBC tonight, think I'm gonna sky plus it and watch it on the sofa on my day off tomorrow

My life is so much better without that bitch ovia! In fact since I've deleted all the apps I had and just started using clue I'm much less stressed out.

9dpo here with bbt still rising. Come on bfp or a normal 28 day cycle! It's amazing what you'll settle for after 8 months of ttc

I deleted Ovia for a bit then for some strange reason I wanted it back and now it's ruining my life again! Ha!

I'm on 8dpo today. When are your img to test Johno? I haven't actually had a period yet so no idea when mine is due so kinda tricky! Pretty sure I ov'd though, had all the signs and a positive opk.

I deleted Ovia after my m/c but recently downloaded it again- can't believe it said that though Luci - It's just teasing you!!
Does anyone use any other apps to track their cycles as I found Ovia was annoying before?- it used to automatically fill in AF when I was late so I had to amend it everyday which made me think the fertile week dates weren't very accurate.

I actually use 2 🙈 I have Ovia and pink pad. Pink pad is just a case of logging things. It doesn't give you any teasing comments!

jonho good news on the temps! When will you test?

highhopes I also use clue which is all I used before (nice and basic) and this month I'm also using glow as can't put my temps in to clue for some reason. It's a lot less of a bitch than ovia. I deleted that!

Ok ladies now I'm completely lost.
Heavy AF finished on Sunday and now today I've started bleeding again!

That's weird highhopes... Is it full on again? Did you chase up your appointment?

High hopes hopefully it's just your body going 'oh shit we didn't clean everything out properly' and getting rid of any left over stuff but definitely worth giving your gp a call tomorrow even if it's just for a call back xxx

It's not as heavy as before thank god but it's back to bright red blood whereas the last few days of AF was and is usually browny red (tmi?).
I didn't get time to chase up my Gyno appointment today but will try tomorrow. I just felt so positive after AF going into cycle 2 hoping i would ovulate soon but now I'm back to feeling confused at what's going on with my body!
Did anyone catch the Alex jones fertility programme last night? I just caught up on it, I thought it was really interesting and crazy at what medical science can do these days!

I just called my GP surgery and the receptionist said it's too early to chase up even an urgent referral so I have to call back next week.

Oh highhopes that's shit hun, what a load of rubbish if it's supposed to be urgent! I hate gps sometimes and receptionists can be so uncaring. Like bobo said hopefully it's just clearing it all out seeing as it was so long since you last had one xx

9dpo for me today... Why does the 2ww take sooooooooo long. I don't mind what the outcome is, just want it to hurry up either way!

I know I said 'but it was an URGENT referral due to the risk of infection' and she said referrals take at least 2 weeks even when they're urgent!

How ridiculous... Well I hope they pull their fingers out and get on with it soon! I would just take this second bleed as a further 'deep clean' until you know more! Are you still taking the AC?

I'm so tempted to test but I know I'm being irrational really. I did an opk last night just to ease my craving hahaha! ...it was neg lol. Although then I started thinking to myself, if there was any chance wouldn't the opk have picked it up?

I know I will cave and test on Saturday morning... I just know it! That will be 11dpo, still early but I don't know how long my lp is... I'm really not feeling optimistic tho, this is only cycle 1 and I'm not a lucky person lol.

Yes still taking AC, which makes me think that could be making me bleed as AF came when I started taking AC hmmm!

I have heard that opk's pick up pregnancy hormones but 8dpo might have been too early.

I hope you get lucky Luci but we'll all be here if you don't get your BFP this cycle.

It's only cycle 1... Who am I to complain if it's bfn anyway 🙄

Maybe the AC has given your body the kick up the bum it needed to get rid of everything... Fx for that appointment soon!

It could be the ac highhopes thinking about it as it does affect hormones? I know it depends where you are in country as nhs is a postcide lottery but my mum had an abnormal smear result a few months ago and was rang by the drs saying urgent referral and she got her appointment for gyno dept through 2 days later for the following week so 2 weeks seems ridiculous before they will even chase it up. Can't you call epu direct and see what they say? They'll know the dangers if there are retained products?

Well I guess I better update the list! I'm now officially a resident preggo 😁
I got impatient and tested at 10dpo and the second line came up instantly!! Still didn't quite believe it though so wanted to wait until this morning to test again and boom! Second line again!!
Doesn't quite feel real but dh and I are super happy!! After 10/11 months we actually have a bfp! Fx it's a sticky bean 😍🍼

HighHopes that sucks!! Maybe go see your gp and directly question why it's taking so long when it has the potential to do a lot of harm!!
