Thanks bobo, that's what I've been doing so far but just thought I'd check. I haven't actually got any tests in the house - that's how cold turkey I've tried to be this cycle! I'm hoping to hold out until Saturday morning, I just can't face the disappointment of another bfn. I've convinced myself somehow that if AF doesn't arrive then I'm just having a freak long cycle! We'll see though!

If there were any in the house I'd definitely have given in bobo! And Saturday is probably slightly optimistic if I'm completely honest...

Morning ladies. Well I had a couple of very very dull cramps yesterday and then some very very pale pink cm. Only one bit then nothing else when I wiped. Thinking Ov spotting maybe?

How's everyone else doing?

I was expecting temp rise this morning but instead it's taken a dip, so now I have no idea what's going on.... did I try and ov and fail? Should I keep opk? Or is it just a day late and ov today? Any bbt/opk experts?!

Hey moonlight. I think there could be a few possibilities with your chart.

1)the dip is just an anomaly and you ov when you thought.

2)you ov when you thought but you have AF on the way but with a short LP (how long are your cycles normally and your LP?)

3)you're right and your body geared up to ov, didn't manage it and has now dipped to try again later.

Not much help so I think it's just wait and see what that bbt does! X

Thanks johno I'm only on cd13, positive opk on cd11 (well it was almost positive and then by the next day negative again so thought I'd missed the peak) so option 2 is out, af definately not due yet. So I think either ov is a bit a later after lh surge Tuesday or it didn't quite happen. I'll opk again later and see what it says. And in the meantime keep dtd I suppose to cover myself until sure ov has happened!

Is it possible to ov 2 days after lh surge? Or is it more likely I just didn't ovulate after the surge at all?

I thought you could ov up to 48 hours after the surge? I had my peak opk on Monday, and have had a tiny bit of spotting, once yesterday and once today, I'm taking that as ov spotting...

Yes you're right luci I just checked and it says up to 48 hours later so if positive opk for me was Tuesday night I guess I'm ovulating today :). Exciting!

Anyone else feel like punching someone in the face when they ask when you're going to have children? Oh bore off you nosey people. Seriously. I'd never ask someone a question like that even before ttc myself. AHHHH. Need to vent.

Eurgh it's shit isn't it. I wish I had a witty one liner come back. I think "I've actually just had a miscarriage" is a bit too harsh lol but sometimes I feel like screaming. We're just expected to laugh and joke along. It's such crap.

I'm with you on the punching people who ask thing!! 😡 Drives me mad!
Every time we see dh's brothers (and his parents) they ask when we're having kids! One took 10 months to concieve and the other 17 so you think they would bloody know better!! Dh actually turned around and said we'd been trying for 12 months and going for tests last time and when the brother said 'really' he said 'no you idiot but we could have been so stop asking!' We'll see if that worked next time we see them 😄

Lol - it is so annoying! I was ready to punch a fellow teacher the other day who asked if I was pregnant (in front of the kids!) after I told them I had exciting news ...it was about drum lessons !

And my sister can have a punch too harking on about having kids like she's the only one who's ever done it... she genuinely has no idea we are trying although we've been married two years and I keep hinting at it!

My colleagues go from saying 'Oh you'll be next!' to 'Don't have kids!' on a daily basis. I just sit there smiling through gritted teeth!

People do say it to me all the time, we have been married a year in October and my family and friends are literally waiting!! We've only been ttc since beginning of Aug tho, so it doesn't affect me as much.

So I'm 3 dpo today I think. Spotting has stopped and I have had a few shooting pains, ones that take your breath away, had about 5 in a row in the right side this morning while I was getting ready for work, and a few odd dull cramps here and there. Boobs still tender if pressed. All normal post ov symptoms as far as I am aware? Not had this in over 10 years! I've had enough of waiting already! Lol.

Glad it's not just me haha! Bobo it's so true though! And seven that's so inappropriate!

Temp rise this morning for me so I'm counting today as 1dpo :).

I finally caved in and tested today, still no signs of AF, symptom free, and BFN. I'm now cd26 which is my longest cycle since stopping the pill at the start of June. I'll just keep waiting I guess!

How many dpo are you looby?

I don't know exactly as I didn't use opks or bbt this month, but going on ewcm and cramping I'm about 12dpo.

Well fx crossed af doesn't show up! Maybe test again in a few days?

No idea what is happening anymore... Am I in the tww... Am I waiting to try and ov again ... Or am I pg with a messed up body and not showing on tests???

Currently cd51. Af was originally due cd 37 after lh surge and 12day lp. Two definite surges since and another half line on Opk at 4dpo (in the latest tww) 😞 Wtf is going on!!!! CB digi taken yesterday and bfn.

I give up, kill me now 😵🔫

Completely feeling your pain, it's bloody rubbish!! It would be so much easier to manage if cycles were normal!

I am CD27 no positive OV test so assumed I was having another 50/60 day cycle and late OV. But CM has changed last couple of days like it does after OV. So now don't know whether I keep trying or whether I have OV'd whilst OH away and therefore missed!

The thought of 50 day cycles and missing OV is tipping me over. Cried all the way to work this morning!

When I know I am in the tww I find it a breeze compared to waiting for ovulation!

AF got me this morning, not any heavier than usual but the cramps are so bad they woke me up this morning! Aren't our bodies great?!
