Well spoke to DH and he said we will Defo do it tonight. He is clued up more than I give him credit for. He said well if you are ovulating now our dtd on Friday will count, as the days before count. Opk looks majorly positive to me this morning, or am I getting too excited?! Xx

Well I guess I should have a gyno appointment in the next couple of weeks if its urgent, I really hope I don't have to have another op though as it was really painful! Then when that's all clear I can get referred to the endo to be prescribed medication. So maybe another month or two of not ttc.

The GP also asked how long we had been ttc and I said just over 10 months, he said when I see the endocrinologist I should lie and saw over 12 months as that should get things fast tracked! :O

Well hopefully it won't take too long. I would defo lie, say 18 months!!! At least you know now and are on the road to getting sorted. Xx

Oh highhopes I'm so sorry you're having such a shit time with this all. Hopefully your appointment comes through really soon and everything gets sorted. I hope you don't need to go through any more pain. And to be fair if it takes a month or two for your next appointment it'll be almost 12 months anyway won't it so it's not really a lie, maybe just a little exaggeration!

Cd10 for me and still nothing to report. I thought I had some ov pains yesterday (which I've never had before) in left side and had a small but of ewcm but negative opk and bbt still low so don't think it's happened yet hopefully gearing up today/tomorrow. Really don't want it to happen when I'm away with my friend this weekend.

Thanks Moonlight, I just wanted this m/c to be over so we could move on and start ttc again but oh well.
AF is definitely here (very heavy) after only a couple of days of taking the AC, I also have really bad cramps so here's hoping it pushes out any retained product so I don't need any further operations !!

Hey highhopes. I'm really sorry to hear your asshole,shit,fuck,wank news. I can't really offer you any advice, but just say that we're all here for you, even if you just need to rant about everything. Fx everything comes around quick so you know what the next step is. Once you have all the facts I'm sure you'll feel better and you and your chap will be able to take control of the rest of your ttc journey xxx

Haha thanks Johno it's nice to just have people to talk about this with. I've not really told many people in real life as I don't wants to come across all 'woe is me' but I am feeling pretty down about it all right now but hopefully soon we'll have some positive news! X

So sorry to hear you're going through all this high hopes, you poor thing. You sound like such a strong woman & I admire how you're dealing with all of this! I know it must be even tougher for you if you're keeping it mostly to yourself in 'real life', but we're here for you anytime Mrs! Hugs, chocolate, wine xx

HighHopes, good to see that you are trying to stay positive about everything. Andif you feel like it you always know where to come for a rant, we all love a good rant!

So this is all a first for me, but think I had my peak opk yesterday morning, still high this morning but not as much as yesterday, so guessing it will be on its way down now. Dtd Friday and last night, no idea if that's enough but they say the little swimmers can last a few days once their in there so fx. Guess I'm on the tww now then? Would I be 1dpo now or do you wait until the opks are very low again? Xx

I'm not sure about the dpo question but it definitely sounds like you're in with a chance there Luci ! Have you started taking AC yet?

A big positive for me is that taking AC for the last few days has brought on AF and it's really heavy so I'm hoping and praying that it clears out any retained products from my miscarriage and thins down my womb lining!

My AC came yesterday, but I haven't started taking it. I thought you were meant to take it up until ov? And thought if I have just ov'd I didn't want to ruin it! Lol.

I might give it 2 weeks and see if af shows up and if not I will start taking it.

Can't believe it worked so quickly for you, brilliant isn't it! If it's real heavy fingers crossed its clearing everything out for you. Wonder how long it will last? Xx

Really sorry to read your news HighHopes 😔 I am keeping everything super duper crossed that your heavy af cleans things out and leaves you squeaky clean to start again 😊 The pcos is a pain but hopefully some clomid will do the trick 😊

Luci I would leave the AC for 2 weeks too, if you've just ov'd you af should arrive naturally for you in 2 weeks (if no bfp) 😊 I normally count my dpo two days after peak Opk. So if you got a peak on a Monday, leave Tuesday for egg release and count Wednesday as 1dpo because the Opk is just an lh surge not actually ovulation 🙂

Thanks BoBo, will count tomorrow as 1dpo then. And the wait begins! Boobs feel fuller and painful still today, guessing that's just ovulation. Thought I would have had cramps but I haven't so far.

I'm going to be a nightmare waiting now I'm the most impatient person in the world lol.

Glad you're feeling good about the heavy af highhopes, whoever thought we would be happy for af but sounds like things are sorting themselves out in there!

So this is my first month doing opks and so far they've all been really super faint. Did one at 1pm today and still faint and then just retested and here it is. Italian not as dark as some I've seen but I think it's almost there, what do you guys think? Also I had a large coffee at 4pm as was struggling with last hour at work lol and I was bursting for a wee so maybe that's made it fainter than would be if I'd not drank and held it in for an hour or so longer? Or shall I retest in the morning to compare (and dtd tonight just in case)?

Looks like you are getting there moonlight! Do another one about 8pm and see what that's like. Mine changed really quickly on Sunday and then got the positive on Monday morning. This is a pic of my positive one.

Moonlight I seem to get clearer results if I test around 6pm. Usually try not to drink or go to the loo from 2pm then test when I get home.

I think I'm about 12 dpo (although I had so many positive opk's I can't be sure). So I'm trying to hold off another few days before I test!

Thanks luci I've just had a pint of water with tea so I don't think it's worth doing another later? How long do you hold for and go without drinking first? I'm trying to drink loads of water being healthy and attempting promoting ewcm so it's so hard+

Thanks grow that's what I have been doing and stopping drinking at 3, testing after work about 6 (today's was about 5.45) but I just needed the caffeine today! And then after testing I drink a pint to try and hydrate!

I've been doing that with water too. I make sure I drink 2 litres of water at work.

I honestly don't know! Work has definitely taken my mind off things. We also had friends staying last weekend so had to just carry on as normal. My resolve is definitely weakening now. I might make it until Thursday

You're doing so well to resist grow! I'm at a very similar stage, cd24 tomorrow of a normally 25 day cycle. I've held out so far! Since my mad symptom spotting couple of days I've been much better and work has been good to keep my mind off it. When I really think about it though Ive had no symptoms at all for the last couple of days - not even my usual af related ones! Who knows what's going on!
