Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Fx our next bfp is marmite flavoured. Hope you enjoy your hols.

Cd 10 for me just getting into the fertile bit. Heading up north for a family weekend celebrating my grandmas 91st birthday. Going to have to sneak some stealth DTD in quietly tonight, probably on the floor to avoid bed creaks! We do have our own room I hasten to add!

marmitetoast1 · 25/06/2016 09:27

Haha jem!! Have been there with the creaky beds, good that you're already thinking ahead to the floor! Wink

Good luck to all those in fw and 2ww! I'll be checking in now and then as and when have wifi - hope to see a bfp or two!!

kwick · 25/06/2016 09:51

I am off to allotment - hopefully today we can fill and plant out the remaining raised beds... Hmm that may be a bit ambitious... Anyway I am looking forward to being in great outdoors!

Peaches8Posies · 25/06/2016 11:14

Morning ladies.

marmite i think we all still have that post referendum hangover. Are you Scottish yourself? I'm a Glasgow girl Grin hope you enjoy joy your hols, hope the bitch stays away for you. If not get yourself some delicious cocktails and hopefully you bring home a little sticky bean with you.

sucha lol at the creaky bed, been there done itGrin enjoy your party. 91 is definitely a reason to celebrate!! Fx the sun pops out too.

kwick this time next year your allotments will be in full bloom! Hopefully you'll have a little one strapped on your chest as you are out picking you fruit and veg. I'm thinking about planting some easy stuff in some tubs to get in to growing. Unfortunately I don't have a great big garden but I'm not going to let it stop me Smile. My neighbour does some rubarb and my other neighbour has just started a veg patch with potatoes carrots etc... think I should do a few different things and we could all swap goodies when they are picked. Home grown stuff tastes soo much fresher and tastier.

Anyway, hopefully it's a better day for everyone. X

emalady · 25/06/2016 15:13

Hi all, also feeling pretty shocked about the whole Brexit thing, so sorry you are not feeling welcome Nicky we are both from the UK but have been chatting on and off about moving to Australia since we went there on honey moon - have contacts there and could get a job very easily. Started getting a bit more info. Think it would be a much better place to bring up children but not sure I could leave my family. Sad times. Trying to be positive but not really managing too well at the moment.

SkyLucy · 25/06/2016 17:00

Hi all, been keeping an eye on the thread for a while, just thought I'd pop in to commiserate with all the AF arrivals and Brexit fallout! I'm still in shock, punctuated with thoughts of "let's move to DH's native (EU) country!"

My little bean has stuck so far - had a scare this week when I started bleeding, but a very early scan showed a resilient bean with a flickering heartbeat. My dates got put back...according to LMP I would be 7+3...but I'm actually only 6+1! Moral of the story - never assume you ovulate halfway through your cycle!

Anyway, take care everyone, fx for a flurry of BFPs Smile

HepKestrel · 25/06/2016 17:25

Hi Sky!
glad you have a sticky bean ! we needed some happy news this weekend.

emalady · 25/06/2016 17:55

Very good news sky glad your little bean is sticky.

Decided to "celebrate" my lack of bfps with slimming world home made chocolate mousse raw egg and all with a glass of wine and a hot bubble bath before getting back into dilrw.

HepKestrel · 25/06/2016 21:04

Like your style ema !Wine

SuchaJem · 25/06/2016 22:27

Love hearing from the grads, it reminds me bfps do happen and gives me hope that I might get there!

Glad it's all going well skylucy Smile

Mooseville · 26/06/2016 01:10

Congrats lucy v pleased it's good news. That keeps us going on this thread!

jem lolling at the floor situation!

I'm feeling very uninspired this month, I'm trying to just forget about fertile week and just hope that when we do it, it's the right time. (Hard to do with Ovia bitch's updates) but DP isn't feeling performing under pressure, I'm getting stressed if he doesn't feel up for it and I'm in fertile week. Our usual routine is about once a week anyway, so if I just attempt to leave it that surely it'll hit fertile week at some point????? I'm a bit sick of stressing about it. (This may change by tomorrow once ovia gives me a 8/10 and I feel the need to do the deed!!!) ha ha

marmitetoast1 · 26/06/2016 06:54

Glad it's going well Sky and that your bean is sticking!

Hi peaches, yep I'm from Perth and Kinross-shire but living in Manchester at the moment. Plan was always to move back in a few years time to be nearer family when we had wee ones but that may now been sooner rather than later!!

Sorry to hear you and DH feeling stressed and under pressure moose I know what that can feel like too. Fingers crossed spending some quality time together and being more chilled for a week or two will help you get back to DILR soon!!

Right, off to look at some art and eat some Italian food!

Evergreen17 · 26/06/2016 07:58

Hi ladies!
How are you? Smile
Saying hola from grads thread. Currently with a 6+ 4 blueberry

For those struggling reading opks I can't (again) recommend the fertility monitor enough.

Smile

I got my one second hand and it gave me so much calm.

I stopped tempting and opks as they were too stressful for me

How is everyone doing???

kwick · 26/06/2016 10:27

peaches sounds like a marvellous idea to swap harvest with neighbours. Love your imagery also - thank you.

Allotment work slightly hampered by torrential rain so more today!!!

How exciting sky! Please share photos if you have any!

HepKestrel · 26/06/2016 11:23

Still waiting for AF, mild cramping, nothing from boobs.
[Drums nails on desk]

You may have learnt by now that I am not a patient person!!

Fx for all of us, sticky beaners, isw-ers, tww-ers and sp alike.

And I think we all deserve Flowers this weekend

HepKestrel · 26/06/2016 11:24

In other news my gardening yesterday resulted in to completely filling my wheelie bin!

FXSkip · 27/06/2016 08:02

Hola ever so lovely to hear from you!! hep I'm also waiting for AF - cd 41 in the house! What happened to my lovely 28 day cycles?!
Meanwhile busy planning baby gifts for my three closest friends due in the next 4 months....if there's something in the water I've clearly not had enough to drink Sad

SuchaJem · 27/06/2016 08:43

Moose that sounds really tough, difficult for your oh too. Could you try to slowly increase the frequency of sex and ignore fw? I think the official gp line is 3 times a week - if you can get towards that I think it would greatly improve your chances.

Hi ever, glad all is going well. I'm happy with opks but thanks for the tip.

Fx hep - I've got you down as testing on 19 June which can't be right?

Skip - 41?! Are you testing?

Cd12 for me so kicking off fw. No cm clues or opks yet.

HepKestrel · 27/06/2016 09:06

Hi Jem
19th June was right! currently on cd40.
I cracked and poas yesterday - another BFN. Nothing else to report other than mild cramping and hideous heartburn for the last week. Have bought myself some gaviscon for the first time in my life.
I usually have 1-2 day boob warning than AF is on the horizon, but nothing to report there.

skip - this is by far my longest cycle ! fairly regular at 29-33 days, with only one previous outlier at 37 back in Jan. I have had a stressful month, so suspect that is the cause. Would that cause a missed AF though (or just late)? Stupid question, but should I just expect the next one at ~cd60?

FXSkip · 27/06/2016 10:05

Jem nope. I fell for that crap last month, back when I thought a 36 day cycle was the worst. I am sure that this month I am still just a bit messed up from going on holiday so I am just going to wait patiently for AF to turn up. I started burping yesterday and immediately got my hopes up (based on
Starky) but feel stupid getting excited, so I need talked down from this ledge.

Hep I am feeling the same. I am going to wait for the next one and if I miss that too then I will test. Next AF due 4th August of course if I am upduffed I'll be 11 weeks by then

HepKestrel · 27/06/2016 11:07

next AF/testing for me: July 20th.

though i may test again, if only to keep my stress levels low.

Think i have a tent pegged out by the ledge as I find myself there so often....
Also adding to my cray-cray is that my last AF was much shorter than normal.

Evergreen17 · 27/06/2016 11:20

Hola fx! SmileGrin
Hi suchagem Smile
I miss you guys Smile

Who is in charge of the list these days? Any BFPs lately?

Wishing everyone here lots of luck.

LovelyFishy · 27/06/2016 12:21

Hep when I've delayed AF due to stress she always just show late, never missed, then I calm down and have a regular cycle after that until the next stressful time!

Skip how fab would that be to find out at 11 weeks? By the time you find out it would feel really real! Fx for you.

I have been following the Kwick Fertility Food Guide this cycle! Lots of whole milk (I was previously on the orange milk from Tescos) and walnuts. Even tried my first avacardo the other day! What different ways are there to eat them?

LovelyFishy · 27/06/2016 12:24

Ever no bfp lately (unless I've missed anyone in which case I'm so sorry!). We're really due one soon! Luckily a lot of us seem to be roughly the same time now, so in a few weeks there'll be a lot of testing. Huge congrats for you and your blueberry! Grin

Evergreen17 · 27/06/2016 12:31

Thank you Fishy
Very early days for me, I am just waiting for the scan on Thursday since just before my BFP I was told I was probably not releasing mature enough eggs so I am a bit cautious and not believing any of this yet Confused

Only 6+5 Smile
