Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Right, I'm back off my holidays to sunny exotic north Wales! How are we all? Just catching up on what I've missed or would anyone care to summarise?

Welcome newbies! 🎀🌞🚗

modest 14 or 15dpo I think

I've a horrible feeling that the supplements I started taking to length luteal are the cause of the late AF as I think b6 can frequently cause this.

Modestandatinybitsexy · 17/06/2016 15:40

Still early days they winging keeping FX!

Starky Hii! [waves] you don't know me but I know you #lurker Blush
I was hoping by joining this thread I could hold out testing Starky style but from my previous posts you can probably see that's not gone well..

peskyfeelings · 17/06/2016 15:41

Thank you FX

I hope I won't be here for too many cycles either. May your next cycle be your lucky one :)

StarkyTheDirewolf · 17/06/2016 16:19

Hiya modestGrin that made me giggle and feel a bit famous all at the same time!

My snoring (previously known as cute snuffling) has increased to such a volume and timbre that if I stop, Dh has to come and make sure that I've not died. Except the other night, when he had to come check that it was actually me snoring and not a wounded escaped sheep bleating outside our rural holiday home. And then last night when he woke me up to whisper "babe...your breathing is weird, be normal...please!? You're burping and laughing in your sleep!" Which I suppose is only marginally better than him thinking my farts smelled so bad that I'd actually shit myself.

Mind, the mystery died in our relationship in the first fortnight when I accidentally trumped and tried to blame it on the dog AND the leather sofa. Then got the emergency trots after drinking too much jäger/red bull and he was in the shower. How he still fancies me enough to want to have sex is beyond me!

Lol starky good to see you! Glad all is well, snoring and wind aside Smile

Modest when is your AF due? If you tested early it could be a false positive for sure.

Winging hope you get some clarity soon Sad

SuchaJem · 17/06/2016 17:54

Sorry and welcome pesky! When is your AF due? I'll add you to the list

Evergreen17 · 17/06/2016 18:20

Thanks Fx
Hoping for a full sac too Smile

Evergreen17 · 17/06/2016 18:21

I got a starky Star myself and I am quite proud of it.
Also I honestly think testing early brings nada good. Because of chemical pg and all that
Dont do it! Work for your star!

Modestandatinybitsexy · 17/06/2016 19:52

Starky! 😂

I am soo far past my due date. My cycle is normally tops 32 days. (Once went to 40!!) I tested on CD42 today. BFN and still no AF!

TMI Beware - I've got plenty of clear cm. Slightly sticky. Had terrible back and uterus pain since I found out. My mood has gone right down the pan too.

Mooseville · 17/06/2016 21:16

winging I had that last month but the other way round, I'm sure EPO shortened my cycle by about 3 days and made it more painful!!
jem I'm on cycle 6 now, however in reality we've missed fertile week at least three times for different reasons, so I can't say it's actually been 6, prob more like 3 really...
I'm just enjoying AF by doing a French picnic in our living room, DP thought I was crazy getting the rug out and everything, but ate Pate, drank red wine and baked macaroons (and watched the football! Hmm) so it's not all bad....
Fingers crossed for all those testing!!

SuchaJem · 17/06/2016 21:37

Moose I love your style. Are you off epo now then? I don't know whether to take it again or not.

LovelyFishy · 17/06/2016 22:47

On the "it's not all bad" front - I am enjoying the luxury of a bubble bath! Grin

Mooseville · 17/06/2016 23:29

I'm off the EPO Jem Didn't see any extra CM and the early cycle freaked me out. Been a steady 27 day other than then, just felt as though I was messing with Mother Nature when I shouldn't be!!!

Mooseville · 17/06/2016 23:31

Enjoy your bath fishy 🛁

PeaceLilly1 · 18/06/2016 04:16

Hi ladies, may I join? Been lurking for a while - sorry!

Name: Peace
Age: 34
Ttc #1 (I have a puppy and she is really my first baby)
Cycle: 3
CD: 24

I am a Brit but I live in the USA and I rely on mumsnet to supply some normal attitudes to this whole bizarre process! This thread in particular has helped me feel a) less homesick and b) less crazy, so a big thank you from me and my DH!

kwick · 18/06/2016 11:11

Nice to hear from you evergreen

Welcome pesky and peace!

Hiya starky! Did you have a nice holiday? How is the bump? LOL at your snoring.

Feeling extremely frustrated... I need my lease for a remortgage application, yet cannot find it anywhere even though I read tgrough it just the other day!!! Really my flat is not that big...Angry

Got such a strong loneliness feeling yesterday when out with work colleagues... Still feeling down in the dumps... Maybe it is hormonal Confused I am going to give myself a mini-facial and see if that perks me up...

bluebird3 · 18/06/2016 12:23

Sorry your feeling down in the dumps today kwick. I am too (over a friend fall out) and am treating myself with a Taco Bell. Know I really shouldn't with the diet but it really does make me feel better. Jut a fat girl at heart.

Welcome pesky and peace!

SuchaJem · 18/06/2016 12:34

Welcome peace. We have snowdog on the this thread who is another Brit living in the us Smile

Hope the weekend picks you both up kwick and bluebird.

bluebird3 · 18/06/2016 14:36

Thanks sucha but unfortunately it's getting worse! Just went to the shops to buy some paint for a nice relaxing crafty day, and I hit a parked car and did damage! Now I'm going to have to pay for that. The guy has my info and I hate the stress/uncertainty of how much it's going to cost. SadSadSad

kwick · 18/06/2016 15:35

Feeling a bit better after some allotment plants retail therapy. We are just going to pop to my mum's to change into our gardening gear, and then more digging for me!

What a fcuker bluebird! Try and take a zen like approach - at least no one was hurt.

bluebird3 · 18/06/2016 16:12

Thanks kwick and you're right, it could have been worse and it's just money at the end of the day. I've never hit anything before but my mind was elsewhere with stress.

How is everyone else doing? Would love to see a bfp to cheer up the thread.

AliceScarlett · 19/06/2016 00:25

X-post with JS:

I didn't get the promotion, I think they're discriminating but that's another thread. Long story short I'm taking 3 months off ttc to get another job and qualify for decent maternity leave. Last thing I want to do but I'm not sitting in that job for what could be years on end, 6 cycles shows I'm not super fertile. But there we go. Hopefully I'll be back in September.
Wishing everyone loads of luck and BFPs, might even have to throw in some , desperate times....

Love to you all xx

kwick · 19/06/2016 09:09

alice sorry about the job. Best of luck in your endeavours!

Mooseville · 19/06/2016 09:38

Sorry about the job Alice - fingers crossed in three months it all happens for you.

bluebird aargh that's so frustrating. It is only money, but it just adds to the stress. I hope you got your Taco Bell!

Nice weekend here, a long (8mile!) walk yesterday, stopped for a couple of pints and lunch midway. Having a bit of a baking frenzy, it's creme brûlée macaroons and soda bread today!
