Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

wingingit I have the 'one step' ICs from Amazon and I'm pretty sure the sensitivity wasn't as good as Frer. They might do different ones though I guess. Fingers crossed for you!! Will you wait til tomorrow morning now to test again?

WingingIt83 · 16/06/2016 10:06

Is there a point that FRER stop working? As might get one today but wait until Saturday to test? (Although that could be awkward as have both parents and in laws descending on us that day )

kwick · 16/06/2016 11:07

/big sigh

Ni4444 · 16/06/2016 14:28

Hi ladies! Just checking in...any BFPs I missed?? How are you all doing? Jem I hope that flow of doom stays away!!!

Kwick, I had a read of the last few pages but couldn't figure if AF had finally arrived for you?

Totally agree with those saying keep making plans and getting on with your life!... Although I'll be honest I struggled with that! It's so tempting to live month to month.

Bump is 10weeks tomorrow...we paid for private scan last week as we were telling my parents...everything was healthy and we heard a heartbeat! Thank goodness!! My mother nearly fell on the floor with shock...she'd prefer us to be married first so took her a while to get excited....not exactly a perfect movie response...but that's my mother..I kind of expected that!!

Ni4444 · 16/06/2016 14:29

Oh balls just saw your post Jem...sorry about that bloody AF. Month 7 was finally the lucky one for us though. My fingers are always crossed for you! In the meantime enjoy all the football beers xxx

SuchaJem · 16/06/2016 14:34

Hello ni for some reason it stuck in my mind that you were cycle 7. That gives me hope! Did you do anything differently?

Really thrilled everything is going well, do you have a scan pic?

SuchaJem · 16/06/2016 17:50

Moose! Forgot to reply to you. Sorry AF got you too. What cycle are you on now? Hope you enjoy your Hol xx

kwick · 16/06/2016 19:51

ni I am so sorry... My AF did finally arrive last Friday. Now waiting for next one whilst trying to lose weight surely eating two burrata cheeses helps with that?

Wow 10 weeks already ni!!! I am so proud of you!

emalady · 16/06/2016 20:01

Hi guys, definitely agree with getting on with life, we stopped actively trying when I changed jobs as I am the main earner and I needed maternity pay rather than allowance but I'm regretting it now as it feels like we have been going forever when we only started trying again properly and making a note of cycles etc for the last 3 months. Still didn't make too much effort not to conceive during the couple of cycles "off".

I'm back following slimming world and trying to get on with life rather than living cycle to cycle but AF is due in the next couple of days and I fear another melt down. good luck to all testing or trying to hold off over the next few days.

bluebird3 · 16/06/2016 20:28

Sorry about AF jem and moose Flowers

Where are you going in Italy marmite? Sounds amazing. I left the opks at home for my holiday. It's the last thing you will want to be thinking about when you are trying to relax and enjoy yourself.

ema I'm considering a break from trying for the next 2-3 months as its my dsis' wedding next May in America and I'm the maid of honour. It makes me feel sick to stop trying (we're on cycle 16) but then again do to want to miss the wedding. Sad

KatOnATinRo0f · 16/06/2016 21:07

Hi everyone
I'm still here, sort of.
Loads of new faces I don't recognise I hope you are all looking after the thread well :)
I'm on cd 23 of cycle 10 now. Can kinda feel AF cramps so don't reckon this month is my month. Not really bothered any more. Stopped OPK stopped hcg stopped ovia (just had to log in to check where I was in my cycle as I had cramps and thought it might be later). Stopped thinking about it all the time. Feel a bit peeved that I've put nearly an entire year on hold for it and am not pregnant yet so now am going to not really bother. If it happens it happens. If it doesn't I'll get a dog. I might pop in every now and then to see how everyone's getting on but so many new people who don't know me don't really want to see my random warblings every now and then!
Love to you all xxx

LovelyFishy · 16/06/2016 21:55

I get where you're coming from Kat. I just got fitted yesterday for the dress I nearly didn't buy for my friends wedding as "I'll be so pregnant by then!". Take care of yourself and let us know when you get your bfp!

Ni4444 · 16/06/2016 22:52

Jem I'm afraid it's one of those frustrating ones where we only got one shot at it, and I didn't think we'd have a chance that month, but we dtd on ovulation day and it randomly decided to work! I was taking agnus castus that month, EPO and vitamin b I think it was.

Here's the scan! Was so relieved there was actually something in there...Although the bloody morning sickness should have convinced me!!

Kwick I'm so glad!! You're getting back on track! God, Italian cheese...how is one supposed to resist?!!!

Kat do keep checking in...it's good to hear from you!

kwick · 17/06/2016 07:40

kat I do not want you to go!!!!! Please take care of yourself. Let us know when you get your bfp.

Lovely pictures ni!!!

Well thank God it is Friday! I have a really intense day today and then leaving drinks for one of my closest colleagues at work - who is moving to another office (in another country) as his uk visa cannot be renewed.

Happy Friday everyone!

SuchaJem · 17/06/2016 08:06

Lovely pic ni, keep us posted on how you are getting on. Are you on the grad thread?

Good to see you Kat, hope you stick around. Keep us posted re dog / bfp - hope both are coming soon.

Fx for all TWW souls xx

Modestandatinybitsexy · 17/06/2016 08:28

Kat I know how you feel, I haven't been all consumed by tracking but the last week of 2ww is excruciating!

I've tested this morning and got a BFN on CD42. I'm sure AF will come along once she's finished screwing with me. Sad

I've got a busy weekend to keep my mind of it and I don't have to figure out an excuse for why I'm not drinking.

Ema how is slimming world working out for you? I really need to get my BMI sorted out as I'm sure my weight is the root of these issues.

Evergreen17 · 17/06/2016 08:28

Hi ladies!
Still lurking over here Blush

If someone finds this useful, I was fed up with TTC and all the stress and worry and disappointment.

So I joined weight watchers to have a little project that would totally take my mind off TTC. I lost 8 kilos and a bit Smile

The only thing I did use was a Clear Blue Fertility monitor. I paid 20 pounds on ebay. The OPKs were not working for me and so much time dedicated to them.

So on the second cycle using this monitor (8th month TTC) we dtd on the morning when I got my peak. That was the lucky one.

I am not saying the monitor is a miracle worker but it was good for me to see that my ovulation dates were different every month and I found reading the sticks too hard.

I was also taking EPO and using conceive plus

Smile

5+1 very early days but I saw my bean yesterday. It is just a pregnancy sac. Maybe full, maybe empty, I shall know in 2 weeks

Bests of luck Flowers

Modestandatinybitsexy · 17/06/2016 08:37

Evergreen Congratulations! I hope your pregnancy is a breeze :) And thanks for the tips; I've used opks and did not get on with them at all.

Ni4444 · 17/06/2016 08:42

Oh congrats Evergreen!! Lovely news!!

Jem I'm not really on MN at all anymore...too exhausted for much!!

Kwick enjoy your Friday evening!!

WingingIt83 · 17/06/2016 12:59

I'm still none the wiser. My local boots had no frer so as DH is working in London today I've sent him off on a mission to get some so I can hopefully test in the morning.
I did get some cheapies in b&m yesterday as the said they were 'early detection' but when I opened the packet they were one step ones like I already had. Tested last night anyway but BFN, not that I'm surprised as it was evening after all.

Evergreen17 · 17/06/2016 13:10

Thanks modest and ni.
Trying to keep distracted as it is very early days so anything can happen Confused

peskyfeelings · 17/06/2016 13:12

Could I join your thread please? I'm stressing already and it's only been 5 minutes since started trying!

FX for you wingingit, I know how frustrating it is when you are stuck in limbo! Last cycle was 11 days longer than normal for me, and this cycle I am already 3 days late again so I am now wondering if I also have PCOS or something, I can't see why else my cycle would suddenly be erratic. My logical mind tells me I've only been off the pill for 8 months, that is most likely why.

Ever congrats, wishing you a happy, healthy 8 months and best of luck that your sac is full (that sounded weirder than I meant it to)

Welcome pesky ahhh to be on cycle 2 again gazes wistfully into the sunset I want to say fingers crossed that you aren't here long, but I've learned so much on this journey I don't regret any of it. I do hope that you find us to be a useful, supportive community here though!

Modestandatinybitsexy · 17/06/2016 14:44

How many DPO are you now winging FX for you finding a test and BFP over the weekend!

How likely is it that a superdrug cheapie has given me a false negative? I've only tested the once this morning. I've only got a CB Digi left or the HCG strips that came free with my opks. Would they work?

I don't want to get my hopes up if AF is just going to turn up though. Sounds like we're in the same boat with the crazy cycles FX. Have you had any drs tests done?
