Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

WE SHALL WIN IN THE GAME OF SPERM MEETS EGG! IT WILL HAPPEN!

kav distraction distraction distraction! Stay busy. The temp thing sounds positive from what little I know about charting. Fx

Good luck with your egg in Greece island glad to hear your appointment went well.

I've decided my learning from cycle 4 was Stress Is Not Your Friend. I had all that mental stress with the job offer and then moved house. Cycle 5 is going to be about Zen Halo

Now then. Swim and yoga tomorrow anyone?

Hope you all have lovely weekends lined up xxx

LovelyFishy · 22/04/2016 21:01

I just went running this evening for the first time this year! Feeling pretty pleased with myself right now but probably won't be able to walk tomorrow. Planning on doing some YouTube yoga tomorrow as my silly shifts don't allow me to go to classes. Does anyone habe any suggestions on a good vid?

Pugmummy87 · 22/04/2016 21:26

kav distracting yourself as much as possible! Although I find posting my symptoms on here and getting sensible answers back helps to put it all in perspective. I would go a bit crazy otherwise!

Island that sounds really positive, I hope you have a lovely holiday to Greece and come back with more than a sun tan!

Fishy when I actually get around to doing yoga (not easy with 2 pugs who want to know why you are in such a strange position) I watch 'Yoga with Adriene' on YouTube. She's great and she has a ton of videos on her channel.

As for me, I woke up this morning and as I was letting the dogs out to do a wee I was overcome with this severe cramping in my lower abdomen that took my breath away. It only lasted for about a minute and then stopped. I've also noticed a slight tinge of brown to my cm today.
So either AF is on her way (5 days late) or as I suspect I am only 7dpo and maybe that pain could have been implantation?
Would be unexpected as we only dtd 2 days after my random positive opk last week.

Or of course it could just be a random pain!

LovelyFishy · 22/04/2016 21:36

Pug I have two very curious kitties. My yoga mat also doubles as their play tunnel when it's rolled up so trying to excersise when they're around is always fun!

Those signs do sound promising! I'll try not to lead you down the path of madness, but yay? Grin

Island Greece sounds lovely!! DH and I are looking at booking a last minute get-away next month (over cycle 10's fertile window) and it's a toss up between Greece and Italy. Hopefully baby-making vacations are just what the doctor ordered!

CrazyCatLady2 · 22/04/2016 21:44

Hi ladies, just catching up on this weeks posts and noticed new thread here Smile

kwick - so sorry to hear your sad news Flowers

AF is due tomorrow, think she is already on her way so pretty sure I will be on the May bus - on to cycle 3 for me

theneonninja · 22/04/2016 21:49

I've just downloaded ovia after realising that Kindara was not coping with my irregular cycles as it seems to just average everything. I have input all my data for these 4 cycles and she had a bit of a fit trying to work me out especially after I put in that my last cycle was 28 days. Good news though, she thinks we DTD during the fertile window but unfortunately she is now trying to make me all hopeful about the possibility of a BFP telling me I'm super late (she reckons O was about 19 days ago).

CD40 today, had a few cramps today but I'm unsure whether I just need a big fart or if AF might be on the way. OH is just getting over a nasty stomach bug so maybe I'm just getting a milder version of it!

Ni4444 · 22/04/2016 22:19

Lovely try Yoga with Adriene on YouTube. She is excellent! She does a 30day programme for free...I started it...for 2weeks.. But have got distracted! I agree ladies I'm feeling so pudgy right now. I want to get back to serious exercise or dieting, but I'm so worried it will impact ttc! Bloody pain! We managed to dtd this morning though so have a chance, though not much.
Catching up....

Ni4444 · 22/04/2016 22:24

Yes, what Pug said! Little love affair with Adriene!!

Kav if you really do want reality...I had two sudden high temps last months...but then it came down. Keep busy until AF is due as best you can because things are so uncertain until then. When are you due to test again?

Evergreen17 · 23/04/2016 08:51

Kavana this is how I deal with the 2wws these days:
I don't.
After many unsuccessful cycles I just go through it knowing that AF will come. No symptom spotting, no delusion.
I say this because I am 7dpo, ask me in two weeks and I will probably be crazy as well Grin

Evergreen17 · 23/04/2016 08:57

Island what kind of scan was that? They did an transvaginal for me but defo didnt see in that much detail!
Bluebird I agree with the boring Grinit was exciting for the first 4 week.
Jem I agree, trying to relax a lot more Smile
Pug that sounds really positive!!!! Everything crossed for you!!!
Kwick how are you doing my lovely?

Feefeefs · 23/04/2016 09:59

Sorry about AF such. She really messed you about this month!

SuchaJem · 23/04/2016 11:03

fishy well done with your run, it feels good doesn't it? I'll check out that YouTube yoga.

pug hope that was a nice implantation cramp!

Hi crazycat hope AF stays away.

neon - cd40, gosh that's a long cycle. I hope you are late for a good reason!

Thanks feefs I really did get my hopes up again. Will try to be more cautious this cycle xx

theneonninja · 23/04/2016 12:19

Unfortunately no good news for you all today. Tested again this morning, BFN, still no AF. Not a clue what's happening...

HepKestrel · 23/04/2016 12:26

neon sorry to hear you are still stuck in limboland. I made it to cd39 once so I completely understand how you are feeling.

how long is your normal cycle?

I think if you are more than 7-10days late it is completely appropriate to make a gp appointment.

twinkydink · 23/04/2016 12:52

Sorry to hear that neon must be so frustrating! What's your longest cycle prior to this?

SkyLucy · 23/04/2016 14:09

Hi everyone,

I confess I've been lurking for a while, but having (again) found myself going bonkers in the joy that is the TWW I thought it was high time I showed my virtual face - hope it's okay to gatecrash? Thanks for sharing tips/sadness/joy...I really value the openness on here, thanks loves Smile Stats:

IrregularCommentary · 23/04/2016 14:41

Popped my head in here for the first time in ages to see how you're all doing. I hope you're all well and those enduring the tww get a bfp soon x

Kwick, I can't even comprehend what you must be going through. I am so, so sorry that you're going through this. I type with tears in my eyes, I'm absolutely gutted for you. Take care of yourself, I hope you have the rl support you need FlowersFlowersFlowers

SuchaJem · 23/04/2016 15:53

Hello skylucy Smile I'm same age as you and ttc 1 too - just cruised into cycle 5. Welcome on board Wine

SkyLucy · 23/04/2016 16:22

Ah thanks Jem, sorry to hear cycle 5's kicked off for you - hope it's accompanied by consolatory treats Wine Wine Wine

Kathrino · 23/04/2016 20:20

Hi SkyLucy, I'm also 32 and TTC #1. Welcome to the madness!

I'm with Ever on the approach to the TWW (for the moment at least). I've stopped tracking anything so have zero idea how far / if I'm in it yet. It's definitely the only way I've found to stay sane.

Feefeefs · 23/04/2016 20:41

Went for an early scan today and I though I was 7+4 they've pushed back the dates to "around 5 weeks" only pregnancy sack visible on abdominal scan and they don't do transvaginal scan.

Apparently lovely round pregnancy sack I'm not to stress and re-scan in three weeks.HmmShockConfused.

Schrödingering on acid doesn't even cover it right now. DH is being amazing but I'm just a bit shocked.

Ni4444 · 23/04/2016 20:55

But how many dpo were you when you found out Feefs ?!

Feefeefs · 23/04/2016 21:11

I was about 17-18DPO ni. Maybe I just ovulated really late and actually wasn't that many DPO? I had very faint tests for 2-3 days and then darkened

theneonninja · 23/04/2016 21:17

Longest cycle before this was 39days (even that was a lot longer than I was used to) but had all the usual AF cramps with that one. End of CD41 now and nothing to speak of AF cramps-wise since CD34ish. Cycles since starting TTC have been 31, 39 and 28 days.

That's a bit rubbish feef, at least they think that everything is still looking good though. Fingers crossed for your next scan.

Feefeefs · 23/04/2016 21:31

Thanks neonninja
