Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Had a baby bomb yesterday ..... well not so much of a bomb, since it was quite predictable. but still....

Finally got sore boobs at weekend.... they are calming down now.... strongly suspect AF is coming up the garden path ready to knock.....

i know, i know ..... don't trust the boobs !

Question for the graduates...... how many of you actually got signs of IB ?

As for symptoms, the month before I got my bfp I had every symptom going, then bfn. Next month I got positive I never felt any different to af arriving. Symptoms never started until a week or so after test. But everyone's different. Two things I think effect us, we can test so early nowadays, probably earlier than symptoms would appear, and because we are trying so hard we are uber focusing on EVERYTHING! it's the ultimate mind game ttc!

jem think we all have had one of those weeks. It's so bloody difficult. And even when we get the bfp's it just opens the doors to a whole new world of crazy!

Symptom wise I've had sore boobs and cramps. That's pretty much it! Just feeling like I'm going to come on any second. I still do.

Sorry, raving like a lunatic cause I'm CD 38 today, if AF doesn't show up by tomorrow it will be the longest cycle I've ever had (I had a 39er when I came off BCP and then it settled to 28) and then I think I will test on Friday morning right before I fly to California!!

Hep I didn't have any IB, or any bleeding at all. I felt more like I could be pregnant the month before BFP. If AF hadn't been a day late I probably wouldn't have tested. Since coming off the pill I've had lovely regimented 26 day cycles - first time in my life I've been regular!

And a quick note on PCOS - I was diagnosed maybe 10-12 years ago with one ovary completely covered in cysts. I was told having children would be pretty improbable. I had an ultrasound Saturday before last after a fainting spell, and not only was the embryo fine (and heart beating at 5+3 ), but my ovaries are completely clear! Apparently it's not always a static condition. I had no idea!

Oooh yes please Hep I'll just have the one - though I really shouldn't (takes entire box and eats in one go)

lol Jem hopefully T&J have made up and are busy plotting the newest character in the cartoon of my fertility (too far?!) I am going to be going down the coast from SF to San Diego, stopping off along the way then going to Bora Bora for a bit to chill out! I am not stopping in San Fran as meeting friends in San Diego so a bit time-short (this friend is 20 weeks pg though so going to be wierd!!) I can't wait to go away though, first holiday in a looooong time!!

Ovia's updated my AF date from the 18th to the 17th so I'm due tomorrow too Hep. I'm determined not to test until I'm properly late or AF rocks up. I had what felt like my AF-is-imminent cramps this morning, but if those are Vix's bfp symptoms I'm not out yet! I'll enjoy it while it lasts...

Morning ladies, just caught up on all of your news. Congrats Maya and Vix, that's fantastic news.

So AF got me bang on time today so at least I didn't even have to wonder for a few hours, so pop me down for a 14th June ticket please . Have decided I am better at tracking than Ovia and FF combined. Between my google calendar and my spreadsheet, I had AF down for today but FF and Ovia had me down for tomorrow so despite AF arriving I'm feeling really happy that I'm now smack on top of my cycle!

Am giving up the BBT malarky, I can't manage it and my temps are all over the shop anyway. Looks like, judging by some handy OV bleeding this month that I ovulate about 1.5/2 days after my pos OPK and that it's on or around day 17/18 - giving me a short but not unmanageable 11 days luteal phase.

In an odd way I'm actually relieved, I had planned a trip away with my Mum to Lanzarote for 2nd week of June. So if all goes to plan this should be the last trip where only one of us will be a Mum, so I can enjoy some sangria and Mummy/Daughter time guilt free.

Jem I'm feeling fine, no symptoms, expected my usual pre AF cramps this morning but nothing. I'll start to get excited if I've had no cramps by Thursday. I do not want to see cycle 6 with bleeding between AF

Very calm TWW here since we barely managed to do it! Not got any hopes for this month - due 23rd/24th...

bluebird me and DP did the 5:2 last year and we loved it. Yes, the two days are hard but then you can guilt free enjoy food the rest of the time (within moderation!!!) I did that along with swimming twice a week and a lost a steady pound a week, but also just felt generally healthier!!
Fast forward a year and I've put it all back on, but purely only because we stopped doing it! We're doing a low carb detox this week and next and then we've agreed we're going back to the 5:2.

Congrats vix! I'm hoping I have your luck as there's been very little DTD'ing going on in our household this month. I have virtually zero hope of anything happening as both DH and I have been properly ill the last few days with a nasty groggy illness that bears more than a passing resemblance to mono. Hoping it's not that, but needless to say, DH got it first and right on top of my FW. Feeling a tad guilty now for having a moan about him not being up to duties on here because when the bug hit me I was totally wiped out for days. Not expecting any egg to find my body a comfortable host at the moment. On the positive side, it should be my least neurotic TWW since we started TTC.

Had a lovely Sunday out in the sun, and had an appointment at an acupuncturist which I'm hoping will help me - it's time to relax if nothing else. Going for weekly sessions and keeping my fingers crossed! My first time going and I wasn't sure what to expect - huuuuge long medical history first and then a nice comfy bed to rest on. Barely felt the needles at all but looking forward to seeing if it makes a difference ...

Hello all, been off for a bit but back as I'm 2wwing and going a little bit mental, its been a few cycles now but I was positive about this month, plenty of DTD in ISW and generally feeling good. Have a wedding at the weekend, not only are people likely to notice if I'm not drinking - partially as I spotted 2 of them from one weak pimms and a missed cup of tea but most of the food is a bit dodgy (raw oysters, soft cheese, pate), Ovia managed to convince me I should test today despite not being due for another 2 days, obviously got a BFN. Going a bit mad, desperately want my BFP but also would not be the best timing. Just want to know ARGH! Finding it more difficult than usual to keep it together at the moment. Also forgot to call for my day 21 blood results as I am off work so forgot it was monday. Oops. Sorry for getting excessively ranty - probably a sign that AF is on her wicked way.

Did manage to convince myself that I hd pregnancy elated nausea and sore boobs and super smell the other day but then realised I was taking drink til its pink a little to seriously and was just hung over and possibly a little bruised from some drunken DTD. Well done me!

Hello moose you make 5:2 sound quite attractive! Maybe I'll give it a go. I keep thinking about just reducing portion size generally but not actually doing it.

kav hope the acupuncture does the trick. I've had it for shin splints and the needles didn't bother me either

Hello ema! I convinced myself of super pregnancy smelling powers last month and have had nausea this month. They feel so real at the time! Fx for bfp for you this week.

I'm really 50/50 now. Not really any symptoms today other than the boobs. Going to try and hold out until Friday.
