Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

I have been out of touch all weekend because I havent been really sure what was going on for me. AF is due until Wednesday.

On Friday morning I ignored all the rules and took a test even though I didn't notice any changes and I already called myself out. There was a mark on the test strip but it didn't really look like anything and DH said he didnt see it. Took another one at 6pm and there's a line its faint but even DH can see it

Took another one on Saturday morning. Clear BFP.

Took another one this morning. BFP no mistaking it not even a little bit squinty.

clearly we are DELIGHTED but I flip between shocked and worried. I didn't have any idea and had been telling DH that we were out...we are taking things day by day lots of deep breaths...

ipatches congratulations! I feel exactly the same, switching between excitement and pure terror!!! Any idea what we are meant to do now?!

jem I had the smallest amount of brown spotting on 12 dpo but I'm a spotter so I assumes it was start of AF! I was then in the car as a passenger yesterday and felt so rough. Something inside me told me to test and I think I just knew something was different this time. Thinking back I've also been pretty bloated this week but I though that was just from eating badly!

i'm a bit grumpy today, so I hope you don't mind a mini rant to clear my system.

bloody snooker ... seriously OH? got some medium fertility dtd in, but then he stayed up till small hours watching snooker sunday/monday, so i fell fast asleep - or he did.... he left for work for 3 days this morning, and that bloody smug (non-flashing) smiley face finally turns up. grrrr......

.... and breath....

Jem, can you put me down for a ticket for the 27th May? AF finally stopped dragging her feet and showed up with a vengeance on Sunday - spent yesterday relaxing and grumping a bit. Weird cycle, last one - a luteal phase 3 days longer than usual and I'm not sure why. Now on CD3 of cycle 4 ...

I'm out for this cycle - AF is here - and I had a bit of a wobble on Saturday when I could feel AF approaching and it occurred to me that I was now 40 and we've been trying to close to a year.

I now seem to have resigned myself to the fact that we'll probably require some intervention, and that IVF may be in my future.

First, though, comes a hysterosalpinogram (?) next Wednesday. That's going to be CD 9, I ovulate around CD 10 and I'm not to have any intercourse till then. I'm away (without DP) for the week after that so for this cycle we'll have an even smaller than usual window.

You got some DTD in though hep and they'll be good for a few days. Fx

As I understand it, it's basically an x-ray of the uterus and fallopian tubes. I get injected with contrast dye into cervix and vagina and if everything works as intended the dye should then nicely flow into the fallopian tubes and show up on the x-ray. If it doesn't, the distribution of the dye (and how it's shown on the x-ray) shows where any blockages are.

A lot to catch up on after a weekend away!

Law of averages says AF due Friday, 10 day luteal phase says AF due today. Knicker checking city here!! Keep forgetting to take temp (or waking up loads so reckon it won't be reliable) so no insight from temps. Must try to temp tomorrow. Am probably out...need to remind myself of that!

Ctul sorry about AF rocking up. Hope the xray gives some insight into what's going on. And I hope you still catch eggo with some dtd Wed night xx

Went away for the weekend, came back to loads of lovely BFPs! Congratulations to all!

Ooooooh lovely, lovely BFP's!! 4!!! We're on a roll again girls....

I've started on the EPO this month, so let's see what that's all about. Trying to have a relaxed month and just focus on getting more healthy and doing some exercise. Have really let myself go during this TTC as keep thinking "oh I'll get fat anyway" not thinking I'm making it harder to conceive by being unhealthy! So I'm trying to shift the focus back, focus on healthy eating and moderate exercise and hopefully that will kick start everything else!

Starting the couch to 5k tonight. Wish me luck - I'm not much of a runner!

ni it's Friday and that should generate a scan appt, will just be relieved to get that far now! Shroedingers pregnancy is dragging! I am so bloated and water logged it's gross! I'm like the world's worst submarine! And my clothes are getting tight, was going through my pre preggo knickers the other day and they're like a slingshot for a mouse! No bump, nothing exciting, im just like Violet Beauregard in Charlie and the chocolate factory when she turns into a blueberry! Including the blue, because veins, purple veins EVERYWHERE! But other than that, I still wouldn't think I'm preggers! 11+5.

Glad to see our thread is getting lucky again. I'm planning to jump dh when he gets in. I was away on a hen weekend and missed him. Now that af is over there's no time like the present to get back at it. I'm waiting to hear results from cd 3 blood test. Hope they ring tomorrow as I'm curious to know the results.

So, I need a little rant too... Nearly peak opk last night, peak this morning. Tried to dtd with DH this morning but performance anxiety strikes again!!! I know he's not doing it on purpose and of course he wants it to work as much as I do, but it's so... The mix of emotions I feel is so hard to describe!
