We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

I'm CD 11 too, no sign of anything on the OPKs. Think I'm normally around CD 16/17 before I get a full on dark line, so my luteal phase is probably quite short. First month temping though, so I'm interested to see if anything is happening at all!

I could be anywhere from cd12-cd18, but really hoping for LH surge over the weekend!

I confess, I am starting to lose hope but want to make a good go of this month.

Am hoping this month correlates to ovulation symptoms so i don't have to continuously opk. I am getting better at recognising the symptoms.

I'm pretty similar myself Hep, I'm desperately trying to be very hopeful and calm and positive and and and ...!! But I'm now thinking that I just need to be super organised in getting all the information I can so that if I do have to go down the road of getting medical help, I'll have crossed a lot of their bridges beforehand. Either way there's an upside somewhere I hope!!

Not much to report here either, CD23 and had some cramps that felt like the start of AF last night. Would be quite a short cycle of so but not unusually so. Bored of this now.

kavanaugh I used a FRER the day I was due, and my line was still pretty faint. I doubt I would have had a positive result 4 days earlier.

I think AF is on her way! Had very light brown spotting today and I'm only day 20! This is the earliest I've ever had it! Am apparently 10dpo but no symptoms at all.

Hope everyone is doing ok, and for those who have been caught by AF - mine is due next weds, what an old hag she is.

This is probably nothing at all, but I've had a weird taste in my mouth for the last 48 hours. It kind of tastes like i've had tonsillitis or something (I haven't), maybe kind of metallic-y but i'm pretty sure my breath doesn't smell, my tongue just tastes kind of nasty...sounds totally gross to actually write it down, but is this a thing if you might be pregnant? Or maybe I just need to get a new toothbrush

Evening all. Thought I'd check in. CD22. No symptoms so pretty much counting myself out already this month. Got baby bombed first thing this morning so floods of tears ensued before I had even left the house, followed by spending most of the day feeling guilty for being such a jealous, resentful cow.

Oh pug was it facebook? I've had a few recently. It's almost impossible to not feel overwhelming Why can't it be meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Just a quick update... Am 14dpo, af was due yesterday (the last 6 cycles she's rocked up by the evening of 13dpo) and got a bfn on a cheapie last night. Not sure what to think as surely a bfp would show up by now. Will test again later if the old witch still isn't here. I've got niggly cramps but no signs of anything. My cm is yellowish and kind of creamy. Can acupuncture affect your luteal phase? I had a session last Friday?

Sorry to hear that ipatches baby bombs are a bastard. Don't feel guilty, we have all had those feelings. I justfelt jealous about the woman on criminal minds who had her baby. We have no control over these feelings!

None of my usual AF symptoms so she had me hoping. She really is a cruel bitch!!

I've bought EPO today. Will give that a go this month I think - along with more DTD and a health and fitness regime!
How much EPO should you take?

ktt did you eat pine nuts lately? I heard they can do a thing where they leave a weird metal taste in your mouth for days after eating them if you eat bad ones. It hasn't happened to me though! Otherwise metallic taste is usually a good sign!

iPatches - no pine nuts for me! Not even any pesto recently...it is a very odd taste though and I haven't changed my oral hygiene routine. But that is the only out of the ordinary thing going on with my body so I'm not holding out much hope! This tww malarky is a fairly dire experience, surely their should be a super fast, almost instant test for a meeting of sperm and egg invented by now?! I ordered some PG tests today from Amazon which claim to be so sensitive that they can give you a bfp 6 days before your period is due - what's the chances that's true??

Moose I started taking EPO this cycle, currently cd9, 2x 1000mg. No change to cm noticed yet... Boo on AF turning up! sorry she found you too Pug.

iPatches I've had loads of baby bombs this past month, I've been on the tears/jealously/guilt roller coaster too. You do get off eventually, just cry when you need to and know you are not a bad person! I did modify my Facebook feed to protect me a bit too.

Ktt beware the early accuracy claims, can easily show false negative. Really try and hold out for AF's due date at the earliest. I have also heard about the metallic taste as a good sign... Fingers crossed for you!

Thanks for the encouraging words mayago and twinkydink ... they made me smile. :) unfortunately my body doesn't appear to be playing ball, though - temps dropped below the coverline this morning on my chart, which tallies with AF being due tomorrow. I'm disappointed but not too upset yet - mainly I just want it to be 6 months of trying already so I can go to the GP and get them to check me out to see if there are any problems they can help with.

evergreen he did a sample into a little pot and it got too cold in the car on the way to drop it at the lab, which is why the poor swimmers perished! In the testes the swimmers should be kept cooler rather than too hot.
Anyhow, on to cycle 8 as af arrived with a vengeance overnight. Horrible bad cramps and headache and exhaustion already 😝😱

ktt512 dont test early. There is no point, and it's a waste of money. If you get a bfp no matter how faint then you spend the next week on hysteria mode expecting af to come. You test every day to see if the lines get darker and it is unbelievably stressful. There's every chance that at that point you could have a chemical, which when you've tested and you know you got two lines is even more devastating.

I found out early breaking my own rule because we were having a family meal and I wanted to know if I could have a drink. But I've known like 7 weeks and time is GLACIAL! Nobody official does anything till you're 10-12 weeks and there's nothing you can do to speed time up!

My advice to anyone WAIT as long as you can, pregnancy is boring as fuck!
