Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

WE SHALL WIN IN THE GAME OF SPERM MEETS EGG! IT WILL HAPPEN!

I'm on board Twinky! I need to feel strong and toned again! Definitely recommend my fitness pal-i used it religiously for 6months a couple years back and lost a stone...then used it on and off for a while to help maintain weight.... I haven't used it in a long time so obviously things have been creeping back!! Don't want to diet too much while ttc but incorporating walking, some cycling to work and maybe a few weeks of focused cardio (back to 30day shred maybe?), then hopefully lots of regular yoga. What are you guys planning?

ElleSarcasmo · 24/04/2016 14:45

Checking in just to say Kwick I'm so sorry Sad. Thinking of you. Take care of yourself Flowers

SkyLucy · 24/04/2016 15:30

Congratulations mayago, lovely to see a stick with two lines on it!!

I'm definitely on board with the fitness pact...I lost 19lbs with weightwatchers (the glamour!) before TTC, but over the past four months I'm creeping back up the scales again. I was hoping DTDing as much as poss would prove to be enough exercise (Wink) but sadly I'm going to have to dig out my trainers again!

HepKestrel · 24/04/2016 16:22

twinky i'm in !

me and OH have fallen off the exercise wagon recently, but managed a nice 6 mile walk today ... it snowed!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 24/04/2016 16:36

If it makes anyone feel any better I've just inhaled 6 chocolate hobnobs and I'm going back for more. I'm going to have to employ someone with a tuba to follow me round and play tunes if I carry on.

Flailing wildly between "oh ill have a 6 fruit fresh smoothie" to "get me a bloody big mac NOW!" to "ice cream has become a life/death situation in the last 20 seconds!" Dh is just letting me get on with it.

Congrats mayago, so lovely to see a BFP!

Theorchard, keeping my FX for your TWW. We never DTD as much as we 'should' but I'm trying to hold on to the hope that, as Jem says, we only need one!

I'm definitely in for twink's healthy regime. We're in the middle of a month long holiday and I started off making lots of healthy choices and feeling much better than I had in months but I've reverted back to my old ways (says the person who is just about to get out of bed and go and buy donuts for breakfast...)

Vix, lovely to see you! I definitely think a relaxed approach is beneficial to my mental health if nothing else and that can only be good. I haven't peed on anything for months!

CrazyCatLady2 · 24/04/2016 16:45

Congrats Mayago, great news Smile

LillianFullStop · 24/04/2016 16:51

I hope so feefs - it was reassuring that the sonographer said everything looked otherwise fine for a 5.5-6w bean - also I know my cycles are longer than the usual 28 so makes sense if I'd ovulated later than the more common day 14 - how long are your cycles?

Hi jem things well here with the bee - sucking up all my energy though I'm always so tired!

Feefeefs · 24/04/2016 17:07

Yeah my cycles are longer too Lillian around 32 days. I think I ovulated day 18/19. Just need to keep reasonably calm now and wait it out I suppose. I have two short weeks in work this week and next week so that should make time go faster and destressing a bit easier!

twinkydink · 24/04/2016 17:48

Awesome news ladies! I think we should share what exercise we manage to do throughout the week so keep each other motivated. Also any good you tube videos please share. I do body coach Hiits but would love to mix it up a bit!

What was the name of the yoga video someone recommended?

Ni4444 · 24/04/2016 18:05

Yoga with Adriene!

Evergreen17 · 24/04/2016 18:20

Twinky I want to join! I am doing the same. I was eating whatever I wanted because a) I thought I would be pregnant by now b) I was upset I wasnt already
But I have been avoiding treats and bad food all week and I will keep it going! And running a bit again Smile
Congrats maya! First BFP for a long time!!!!

CrazyCatLady2 · 24/04/2016 18:31

Twinky I've just started doing 'zumba for dummies' from a youtube video, I love it! Smile

Ni4444 · 24/04/2016 18:34

Ooh great recommendation crazy! I've always wanted to try zumba!

twinkydink · 24/04/2016 18:36

The more the merrier ladies. We want to be in the best shape we can be for when these beans finally decide to make themselves at home in us!

I have found yoga really relaxing and the lady makes us do this weird thing where we imagine sending all the positive thoughts we have to the part of our body we want to heal. I feel my brain shouting womb so loudly at that point I'm surprised others can't hear me!!

Kathrino · 24/04/2016 18:37

I love the idea of Zumba for dummies! I not a big fan of group exercise classes and much prefer the privacy in my own home so it sounds perfect.

InspectorPenguin · 24/04/2016 18:55

Very envious of your month long holiday Kathrino! Hope you're having a lovely time.

On the exercise front I am signed up for a few races (no marathons!) through the summer and autumn as I figured if I don't get pregnant this year at least I'll have those to focus on and keep me in shape.
And if I do get a BFP then I will have a perfectly valid excuse to be very slow :)

CrazyCatLady2 · 24/04/2016 19:04

This is the zumba for dummies video that I have been using. It is 45 mins long but I have only managed 15 mins so far! Found her first workout a bit tricky but I love the second one which starts at about 9 mins in

islandgirl99 · 24/04/2016 19:08

alice I am on an island (Corfu) so fingers crossed it really is fate! Grin

fishy book the holiday! This was a very last minute thing for us, really just booked it in a whim but dh found us a great deal so seemed silly not to take it!

ever mine was a transvaginal scan too. Tbh, not sure what was really meant to be being checked and stupidly at the time didn't ask I think it was just luck that it happened to be around that time in my cycle when stuff was visible, cos it wasn't booked to be at any particular time. It was pretty reassuring to see it all happening though. So much so I suggested to dh that we should perhaps invest in an ultrasound machine for the spare room, he thinks it would be going too far though! lol

pup89 · 24/04/2016 20:03

Hi all, just popping in to say hi and tray and curb my insane symptom spotting and telling DH about every detail of possible pregnancy and what would be happening in my uterus if I was pregnant!!

Only CD 20 and 6/7 dpo so can't take a hpt but still poas (opk) to curb some of the needs!

Cramps this evening and gone off wine never happened before

iPatches · 24/04/2016 20:09

Hi.

Thought I should probably say hello and let you all know that I haven't dropped off the face of the planet. Hello to newbies - I see there are lots!

I haven't been around much because it's been too much. Haven't had any luck in the last few cycles and then a couple of close friends got pregnant and...of course I'm happy for them, but I just can't deal with thinking about how they're having their babies (not their first) but I can't even get pregnant. I'll never tell them we are TTC so I'm all happy-clappy on the outside Grin but all jealous and self-pitying on the inside Sad.

So I'm back because I needed a break, but I feel better now. Here's what's going on for me:
Cycle 5
CD 19
Have been using OPK but didn't get a positive. Dark lines on days 12-13, but never saw an actual positive. No symptoms.

bluebird3 · 24/04/2016 20:32

I agree with you theorchard when you've been trying awhile it seems like an impossibly complex task. Fx you get lucky earlier than you expect.

feefs I'm sure everything will be absolutely fine. Try to stay calm and keep busy till your next scan (easier said than done I'm sure!)

vix I have taken a Facebook break and it's been sooooo good for me. All the rl pregnancy news can be really hard. I love it when there is a Bfp on here though...can't wait for us to all join the grads threads.

Ni4444 · 24/04/2016 20:48

Good to see you Ipatches! It's been ages!! Sorry you've been having such a tough time and struggling with this...You're not alone with that my love! I feel like I've finally resigned myself that's it's gonna take forever (but of course I'll flip out again in a few weeks!). Have a close friends baby shower next month....and most of the guests are bringing their babies. Hmm...great...that'll be easy....not.

Focusing on getting my body strong and toned for my holiday and the summer will hopefully help me feel positive about it...even though it doesn't do I want it to do!!

iPatches · 24/04/2016 20:53

Ni - thanks for the support, it's nice not to feel alone but I'm sorry to hear that you're in the same boat. It's hard because you never really know what goes on in people's lives - we haven't shared our TTC, they may have been through a long wait themselves - so I feel jealous of them, then guilty for even feeling that way...

I like the idea of focusing on getting strong and toned. I have been comfort eating and know I'm not in the best shape right now, which isn't helping my mood and probably doing nothing for our TTC efforts. Where are you going on holiday?

FXSkip · 24/04/2016 21:16

Hey guys just checking in - been a loooong weekend. Supposed to be ISW but so far only dtd once and not looking likely tonight so guess I'm out this month too. Totally up for weight loss - I'm using myfitnesspal too and love it but you do have to be really brutally honest or it doesn't work!! Today I've moved furniture and done about 3 hours ashtanga so I'm pooped Confused
