Hi all, thought I would start a new thread before we capped the earlier one. Here's hoping for more laid back BFPs and a bit of OT chat.

Everyone welcome, waiting to try, TTC, not preventing, being hopeful, and trying not to flip the fck out squinting at lines on sticks.

I've had spotting today at 13dpo so I think I'm out this month. I'm OK though :) I sort of didn't want to get it the first go anyway. Plus we are having friends over tomorrow, so I can drink!

Sorry for the bfn high hopes, don't count yourself out just yet though, always that chance you ovulated later.

I loved being pregnant with both mine but had pretty straightforward pregnancies. I had worries how I would cope when I had my second as my first was and still is quite clingy. It all worked out though and I've loved the gap. We have waited a few months before ttc as both girls are October babies so didn't want another birthday then lol, wanted to avoid December to coz I dint want to be in hospital on Christmas. If we're lucky and conceive first time I'll be due around early January. Ideally we should have waited one more month but I was just to excited! X

Lykke I think some people have spotting at ovulation, maybe that...?

I should add that OPKs won't necessarily be correct with tracking ovulation. If your positive was at cd16, you might not have ovulated until as last as cd18, though more likely 17. OPKs are the devil imho, though

sunny, good to know! As for enjoying pregnancy... Meh, I enjoyed always getting a seat on the tube

I didn't have nausea or sickness, but I did have PGP in the third trimester. Not terrible, but not fun.

Space, totally with you on the paranoia front, I felt so cheated last time around! My SIL also made a point of telling me that they only ever have unprotected sex once and get pregnant. Three times!!! Aside from the ick factor of knowing anything about my brother's sex life that's just crazy.

Sorry for the BFN High but you're not out until AF arrives for fingers crossed for you still!

That must have been a shock too Jolly. Did you recover well from the section? Yeah I'll be consultant led and have regular growth scans throughout the 3rd trimester next time. I wouldn't be able to do it again if I didn't know that I was being monitored properly. I just didn't sleep at all from the very beginning of me finding out I was pregnant right until after I had him. Really don't know why but I would lie awake for hours on end. I was like a zombie by the end! Hoping it'll be better this time....

Bertie I spotted for two days before I got my BFP. I was so sure I was out I drunk a good couple of glasses of wine at the weekend and then got my BFP on the Thursday. Whoops!

Wispa I'll second OPKs being the devil haha! Woohoo to the seat on the tube. Has to be some upsides to being pregnant! Other than the baby obviously....

Theresa we should really wait another month just in case I have another even earlier one but I'm just ready to go now so hopefully I'll be ok!

Can't really start trying for another 3 weeks or so though I don't think. Hope it goes fast!!

highhopes, sorry for the BFN. Are you going to keep testing or wait for AF? Any idea why you're late if not BFP? Some people don't get a + until a few days after AF is due, so you're still in with a chance.

Hi folks, AF got me this morning so I'm hoping May might be the lucky month for us. Am trying to be relaxed about it but occasionally losing the plot slightly. I've vowed not to POAS (apart from opk ones) til AF is late from now on as was getting a bit daft about it! My stats:

Age 34, ttc#1, cycle 3, etd 6th May

Ovia had ovulation down for Sunday 10th but now has changed it to Wednesday just gone.

I usually have a few days of EWCM but so far one day of watery on Wednesday, just creamy otherwise.

Okay, sorry. Hi. Moved over from last thread. Been quiet as had af, now in fertile window again.

I'm just confused. Had 0.2 degrees farenheit rise two days ago, only been tracking BBT for about a week. Did an OPK yesterday evening, not sure if it's strong enough for a positive? Plus everything in the post above. Thoughts?

Hello we've decided to TTC #1 in May. Just had my first AF after coming off the pill at the beginning of March. I'm 26.

Posted too early! We are trying to be semi-relaxed about it. It took us 6 months to conceive with DS. But as I have not been back on the pill as long (before DS it was 8 years of the pill!) so we're hoping for a speedier run (!)

I am new to this thread, although I've been following the 'old' one and was just about to join in when you guys moved over here.
I am 30 (OH is also 30). We will be TTC #1 and I am currently CD2 (of my first real period following withdrawal bleed). My last cycle was 27 days, so looks like things went back to normal quite quick for me.
Will be testing on/around 5th May, but not in a rush at the moment so I fairly relaxed atm. FX for everyone trying!

wispa I came off the pill at the end of December and my cycles have been all over the place since then so it's not a surprise that I'm late again this month. I will probably give it a week and if AF hasn't arrived I'll test again. It makes me worried that Ovia could've predicted my fertile week incorrectly but we dtd about 3x a week anyway so hopefully we'll catch it soon! X

I be just downloaded ovia, never used anything like that but can't see the harm. X

Hello! So I have a question.

I'm usually like clockwork but AF didn't arrive today. Don't want to get my hopes up because we didn't DTD at all through my cycle except yesterday.
I had an unusually heavy period last month, and I'm trying to talk myself away from hoping it could have been implantation bleeding.
So. I'm being far too hopeful yes?

Still no sign of AF.

Also posted yesterday so AF due yesterday I'm struggling with technology this weeks, sorry!!

This thread is moving fast! I haven't got Ovia, I'm going to just try and do it the old fashioned way and just do plenty of DTD! I have got a period tracker app though where I just log dates.

Evans hate to say it but it sounds very unlikely. Implantation bleeding is usually relatively light and a bit before your period is due. If it was unusually heavy last month and then you're late this cycle is there a chance you could have had a very early miscarriage?

Can I join you ladies? I'm on the first cycle of ttc #2. Got a lovely 11 month old DS (took 10 months to conceive first time round) and it was such a roller coaster of emotion I vowed that when I tried for number 2 I'd be chilled; no early testing/symptom spotting/googling..... And here I am in tww agonising over every twinge! Very irregular cycles so could be anywhere between 5-10dpo. All poas results have been BFN so far! Fx for our BFPs soon!
