LOL shoes ^

Gonna have a bit of a moan: feel even more yucky - cold out in full force and did not sleep well at all. Annoyed as may mean I cannot see my big fat greek wedding 2 today with a friend :( also feel agrieved my 3 times a day intrusions to my fanjo and other place and I have real sores from daily injections.... I know they are all helping to maintain pregnancy but in my mind it is not connected... I am going to have to start injecting in leg as upper bum area cannot take it anymore!!!!! Envy
Moan, moan, moan, moan!!!!

Oh Kwick that sounds horrible! You poor thing!! Confused I think you're really brave to going through this - that does not sound easy or pleasant, and I really hope it somehow gets easier soon. But it WILL be worth it in the end! You'll just have to treat yourself to more cupcakes in the meantime!

Kwick709 · 25/03/2016 20:47

my lurgy is definitely improving - had a lovely day with a close friend - we went to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 - great vibe in cinema, packed with Greeks :)
but tired though... think I will go to bed in a mo... back to clinic tomorrow for another blood test... I am praying that they have someone experienced on tomorrow - my veins are deep...

Cloudburn · 25/03/2016 21:10

Kwick you inspired me - just saw MBFGW2 too! Was funny. Good distraction. Now eating a kilo of lard disguised as pizza (but OMG it's good!!!)

Glad to hear your starting to feel better. I hope tomorrow is painless. I was always told to drink lots of water beforehand to make sure you're not dehydrated - makes veins contract even more. Of course it also makes you need to pee, but them's the breaks.

Right off to eat my honeycomb chocolate waffle desert with extra cream...I blame the embryo... Wink

pickle162 · 25/03/2016 21:11

I'm really pleased you still got to the cinema,
Is blood test to check your progesterone levels again.
I'm working tomorrow boo hoo but is time and a half and only till about 1 so not too bad..all money towards baby....worked out will have paid off debts by June pay wahooo

Kwick709 · 26/03/2016 08:13

That is excellent pickle .... I am currently taking Ostrich in sand with debts I have built up.... Hmm

I spoke a bit too soon.... Had an awful night - still full of lurgy- lots of nightmares too, feel like I could do with a new head. I am also not doing at all well with crinone gel and cyclogest 3 times a day. I really hope I can reduce this onslaught by one dosage after my blood test today... Crazy but true I PREFER the injections!!!!

I must say I am getting a little worried a) I really do not have any symptoms b) maybe all of my coughing has caused damage c) am I really pregnant? I may have to do another test just to be sure....may ask clinic to do this today....

All of these drugs stop AF so who knows????

Gosh I need to get up soon... Feeling weak and yucky. Would it be wrong to go to clinic in my jimjams?!

Hello ladies,
Sorry for lack of messages. It appears this cottage has no phone signal and WIFI (although advertised) is intermittent at best. Currently sat on the edge of the bath as it's one of the few places it works.
I totally understand the "how do I know I'm still preggers?" I've had that quite a lot. The early scan will help with that if you get one but then you're back there again up to 12 week scan... I may whinge about my constant feeling a bit hungry or is it maybe queasy but it does help to remind me that I'm up duffed. That said panic will probably set in if and when that feeling subsides...
Hope it goes well at the clinic today Kwik. And hope you feel better soon too. But lurgy-y here too on and off.
Right that's all from me, mum bum is gong numb sitting here!
TD x

Kwick709 · 26/03/2016 11:40

taydex you must return immediately so that you do have wifi!!! Just joking - hope you are having an amazeballs time!!!
I saw a lovely nurse at clinic who confirmed I was defo preggers given high levels of HCG on tuesday. She also got blood first time - its a miracle! And explained purpose of 6 week scan and why I am taking shed loads of progesterone. She is going to see what she can do about midday fanjo and bum-bum doses - as I find these the worst!
I went on from clinic to M&S to return half of online boobage holder splurge from a few weeks ago and I am sooooooo happy to report that I found the matching knickers for my fav 2 boobage holders I kept!!! They did not have them online in my size!!!!
i may have had a £40 splurge in Boots
Now on bus home desperado for loo!!!!

Hope you all have a fab Saturday!

How about finding a Costa instead? Smile

And I've eyed up a chippy for traditional fish and chips by the sea for after the decaf coffee. Yum!

Have a lovely weekend and Easter ladies x

pickle162 · 26/03/2016 13:36

I'm soooo pleased you had that spare test to confirm kwick :)
Have a fab time away taydex. Just back from work trying not to eat my own weight in food,I'm so hungry.
Happy Easter all :)

Kwick709 · 26/03/2016 15:21

Good news ladies - my progesterone levels are up again, so I am allowed to do away with lunchtime crinone gel but still have to have cyclogest...

pickle I say if you are hungry eat! But that is probably why I am very overweight Hmm

taydex · 26/03/2016 15:36

Yay! Good work Kwik. Ladies, I'm constantly hungry and eating loads. Welcome to the weird and wonderful world of pregnancy. And don't worry too much about eating good stuff. The body is an amazing thing and bub will get all it needs (it's you who will suffer/sacrifice but we've got to get used to that, right?!).

pickle162 · 26/03/2016 17:18

Wow that's really good, shame you have to have that other stuff....does everyone have to have that as part of treatment or just if have low progesterone level-it don't sound fun :/

Kwick709 · 26/03/2016 19:16

Maybe I am just being naive thinking I will be able to lose some weight before d-day....

pickle I am not sure... They certainly did not track my progesterone at all when I did the IUIs... But I did have to use the fanjo gel twice a day. Maybe my low levels impacted those... We will never know... But certainly they are tracking me loads more.

shoes how are you doing?

My mum got me a lovely card with a four leaf clover inside - so sweet :)

Glad there's a bit of let up with the meds Kwick

I think I'm ok thanks, though a bit unnerved that a pregnancy test I did yesterday only came up with a moderate test line rather than a dark one. I'm assuming/hoping it's because it was one of the absolutely basic Internet cheapies and maybe they don't show up as dark. I'll do another one tomorrow and will be happy if it's no lighter than yesterday's.

Had lovely baby cuddles with my friend's two month old today Smile

Cloudburn · 27/03/2016 13:42

Ha! I knew it! I thought my nose was running a LOT more often! Now I know why...

www.whattoexpect.com/pregnancy/pregnancy-health/pregnancy-hormones/estrogen.aspx

It also pretty much explains the sore boobs, constipation and cramping. Charming...

taydex · 27/03/2016 20:40

Yeah, they don't tell you all this fun stuff, do they?! Wink

Incidentally, my clinic don't test progesterone levels. So I have no idea how mine's doing. It might be a chore Kwik but at least yours are looking after you!

Kwick709 · 28/03/2016 07:39

But my orifices want no more of it!!!! Also I think I am going to have to start injecting into my legs as my upper bum area is just so sore on both sides.... May post a photo to shock you all.
I know it is good I am being monitored - especially as it looks like my natural progesterone has not kicked in yet.
I may have taken a look online at maternity clothes and found ASDA have a good range

Remind me again how to count - do I take the date of my last period - see how many full weeks and then how many days?
I am thinking about buying a day by day preggers book... But think it is a bit too early...any recommendations?

INeedNewShoes · 28/03/2016 08:21

That's right re calculating Kwick

Sorry you're having such a rotten time with the meds. It does sound like bloody hard work. Flowers

I've been finding that I feel sick if I get hungry. I'm eating oatcakes to keep it at bay. No good me eating anything sweeter as I have a tendency to scoff the whole packet once I've had one nice biscuit!

Cloudburn · 28/03/2016 11:13

Kwick hunny, you're pregnant. You're body started going through changes even before you found out - its not too early!! Wink I bought a pregnancy book BEFORE I found out I was pregnant ("Rough Guide To Pregnancy") just so I had some idea what to expect still wasn't prepared!

However if you're still reluctant to get a book, there's lots of resources online. I found www.whattoexpect.com/pregnancy/landing-page.aspx to be really informative and free

Cloudburn · 28/03/2016 11:17

Right, now that I've been burying my head in the sand with pregnancy tests this last week, I'm terrified of doing one and finding out I'm not pregnant! Ridiculous! I mean, I'm still crampy, grumpy, not hungry and with sore boobs, which in my defence I am not normally, and no sign of bleeding, but still, the worry Does. Not. End.

May have to suck it up and do a test today. Better to know right...?

Cloudburn · 28/03/2016 11:19

Also Asos have a decent selection of maternity basics not that I'm looking
