Anyone else starting their 2ww?

Hi all

I think I am 2dpo and think AF is due 4th Feb so 13 days until I will be testing, if AF doesn't arrive.

I know it's not really possible to have symptoms this early but I have had frequent urination, excessive saliva and a slight metallic taste in my mouth today. I think it must be all in my head, because I don't remember having these symptoms the last time I had a BFP (which ended in an early m/c).

Is anyone else just starting a 2ww?

It's just ovulation sickness but hey ho!

How have you been Kate??

Theaks · 12/03/2016 19:04

I'm a little confused this cycle. Ovulated - got a positive on cd14 but had no cramps this month when normally I feel cramping a few days either side of ovulation date. Very strange!

HopefulKate1980 · 13/03/2016 11:06

Oh I didn't know ovulation sickness was a thing lily? How are you today?

I've been pretty up and down. As you know, it was a chemical pregnancy that I had last time so was pretty miserable about that. I've also had lots of strange erratic bleeding since then which has been hard to cope with. BUT I've started seeing an amazing consultant so hopefully I'll be in good hands if we are lucky enough to get pg again. He was so reassuring and didn't seem alarmed with the fact we have had 2 MCs. He said at this stage we need to treat it as bad luck.

I ovulated a few days ago I think and we've had sexy time for the past few days so hopefully hopefully. I'll test in 13 days according to Ovia. My cm was textbook on Friday, the most stretchy I've ever had so hopefully. Although I had a scan on Wednesday which showed I have a tiny tiny blood clot left from the MC so it may scupper this months attempt but at least my body is getting back to normal.

Xx

Theaks · 13/03/2016 14:43

Glad that your body is getting back to normal- you have been through a horrible time.
That's good that you are seeing a consultant Kate, doctors wasn't very interested when I went. Said they won't help until 12 months has past since latest loss.

AnneLovesGilbert · 13/03/2016 15:02

Really good you have a lovely doc Kate!

How are you doing Theaks? Good about your positive on ovulation.

AnneLovesGilbert · 13/03/2016 15:06

I've got a poorly DP and had a manic weekend.

Still got ongoing nausea, goes for a bit when I eat but hardly any appetite and off everything I normally like.

Also got the biggest boobs I've ever had. Boiling hot and very sore, way a ton. I'm in first cycle off the pill so could be normal hormones and AF due Friday. Either way I'm feeling very very hormonal!

AnneLovesGilbert · 13/03/2016 15:57

*weigh! Sorry.

Theaks · 13/03/2016 17:25

I'm okay thanks Anne.
I'm going to be truly disgusting now and ask a discharge question- sorry in advance. Just been to the loo and my word I was covered. Worried because it was pinky coloured and only on cd17.

Ooooooo sounds promising Anne. I can't remember what I was like when I stopped taking the pill. The only thing I remember was the cramping which I had never had before! That was a new experience that I didn't like. I don't remember those symptoms so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

FriendlyGhost · 13/03/2016 17:48

That sounds really promising Anne. My boobs suddenly got massive when I was pregnant with my dd. Both DH and I both knew I was pregnant before my period was even late because they suddenly got so big. It's definitely a sign!
My DH has just agreed to start trying properly soon. I'm going to start keeping track of my cycle to see if I can tell when I'm ovulating. Finding time to dtd is tricky so I need to make sure it counts. How are you all working it out?

HopefulKate1980 · 13/03/2016 17:52

Sounds v promising anne !! When can you test?

Theaks - could it be a bit of ovulation bleeding?

Trying not to get my hopes up but I have just started getting that popping feeling in my tummy quite noticeably. It may be gas though!!!

Shopaholic - how are you? What's the latest? Xx

Theaks · 13/03/2016 18:17

That's great friendly that you got DH on board!
What's the popping feeling like? Have you felt it before?

Ovulation bleeding, yeah maybe. Don't like my body doing these odd things!

HopefulKate1980 · 13/03/2016 18:56

It is like someone is blowing bubbles in your tummy. I have had it the three times I have been pregnant about 2 days after conception. I have just started to get really smelly wind (sorry TMI!) and that is another symptom I've had in the past. MUST NOT start this crazy symptom spotting though - it drives me insane. Tomorrow will be better as I can focus on work again.

xx

Lily35 · 13/03/2016 19:15

Is it stretchy cm Theaks?

AnneLovesGilbert · 13/03/2016 19:15

I've never heard of the bubble thing Kate! Exciting if you know it's a good sign. Fx for you!

Theaks, the whole thing is a bit weird when you think about it, it's unsettling when your body seems to be acting up. No pain, just lots of pinky cm? Hope you're okay.

Brilliant news there Friendly! You've got DC already?

This boobs thing is beyond a joke. Good to know it could be a good sign, I wondered but don't want to go mad symptom spotting! Has anyone had it from coming off the pill but weren't pg? So don't want to get my hopes up...

AnneLovesGilbert · 13/03/2016 19:16

Kate, when can you test?

HopefulKate1980 · 13/03/2016 19:22

I've never been on the pill Anne so I can't offer any advice in that very sorry. When can you test?

So pleased friendly that you have your DH on board! That's great news.

I think I'm about 3dpo so weekend after next I'd say.

Theaks · 13/03/2016 20:09

Sounds good Kate. 😊
No had the stretchy on tues/wed. Today it was creamy and lots! Nice!!!! Then had a short spell of pink/brown. Gone now. Slight ache.
To be honest Anne I get sore boobs nearly every month since my first MC, like annoying pain. But when I was pregnant both times the aching was different- more painful and nipples that I couldn't touch. But that was just me.

HopefulKate1980 · 13/03/2016 20:58

Could it be implantation bleeding theaks? Did you DTD this month around ovulation? X

Theaks · 13/03/2016 21:21

Did plentiful! 😊 Think it's too early for that. 😔 Thought that implantation is a week after ovulation!

FriendlyGhost · 13/03/2016 23:11

Theaks it does sound like ovulation bleeding. I've had that a few times in the past. I think I actually had it a day or two before I did get pregnant because I remember thinking when we dtd that I had missed the boat that month. Turns out I was wrong! So maybe it happens just before ovulation? Time to get busy then Grin
Anne I have one dd ages 15 months. I really want another but I'm still breastfeeding a lot with no sign of her wanting to cut down so although I've had 3 AFs now I don't know if I'm ovulating or not yet. I was hopeful something was happening last cycle but AF was just a week late to tease me so back to waiting for that to finish.
The bubble thing could be gas Kate but pregnancy definitely makes you very gassy. Fingers crossed for you!

Lily35 · 14/03/2016 11:32

How is everyone?

I'm symptom spotting :(

Really crampy today - only about 4dpo. Not feeling sick anymore though. I think these Clomid tablets send me a bit wappy!!

FX and baby dust!!! I really really need it this month!

AnneLovesGilbert · 14/03/2016 11:40

Morning all, hi Lily!

Do you want to share symptom spotting or prefer a distraction?

I'm busting out of my bra still and feeling very vom, though not actually been sick. Keep telling myself it's all in my head, and/or I'm due a horrendous AF Friday. Waiting sucks.

Hope you're okay.

Lily35 · 14/03/2016 11:53

Trying hard to distract myself this month! I get my hopes up and they are dashed each time!!!

Have you tested Anne?? I think you should!

AnneLovesGilbert · 14/03/2016 13:41

Have you got fun stuff to look forward to, that's completely apart from baby making? Maybe you need a project! Are you reading anything good?

Due af Friday so going to wait till then. Would anything show up this early?

Seeing the nurse later about something else and could ask her. I think the think is that having just come off the pill my main worry is that if I'm not pg this could be what every month is like for the foreseeable.... Sad

Oh well. Shouldn't complain about anything at this point.

AnneLovesGilbert · 14/03/2016 15:30

That stuff about projects and books might sound incredibly wanky, really sorry if it does lily.

This is meant to be the place for symptom spotting, go crazy, I just meant if you're wanting a distraction by all means talk about that too.

Son the 2ww, but at least we have company! [flowers}
