Haha I'm like 'yeah go ahead, not a problem'! Very used to the old 'ankles together and let you knees flop please' - totally immune to it all!
I liked the train one too back when I was trying :) xx

clairemorgan81 · 07/08/2015 14:50

thanks ladies x

Choccywoccydodah · 07/08/2015 14:56

Mine was internal kazz, external from 8 weeks.

Claire do you have any frers?

Consultant has rearranged my appt to next Monday (my ORIGINAL appt day which I couldn't attend so it was changed to the 3rd). Anyway I've just phoned and said I'll see her at the next scan, I'm not going in again just so she can say 'yup, all ok!'
Next one is due bank holiday but they're closed Hmm so I've booked the Monday before so will be 31+2. These weeks are flying, we're away tomorrow for a week, ds birthday Thursday hence we've booked to go away, his party sun 16th, busy week that week inc mw appt, FILs 70th 23rd so busy that weekend then Monday scan!

Kazz2112 · 07/08/2015 17:14

Time really does seem to fly fast. Atm I'm glad if it. Every night I go to bed and think 'That's another day down'. Monday / Tuesday will be my first big hurdle as that's the time of my earliest and only non mmc!

I'm so nervous I'm doing these injections wrong! Is it possible to do them wrong? I'm literally pinching an inch (or10) and whacking it in my belly. Yesterday and the day before it really hurt. Today it was better! Dont get why some days ate better than others!

Brummiemum87 · 07/08/2015 17:25

kaz I just pinch & whack it in too, some days they hurt & some days they don't...twice this week I've pulled the needle out & bled which doesn't usually happen & I've been left with huge bruises each side of my stomach!

Kazz2112 · 07/08/2015 17:35

ok. This reassures me then! I suppose it just depends what you hit on your choice of jab site

Indiedog · 07/08/2015 19:03

I knicked myself a couple times injecting, bled a little and got lovely bruises.
As long as your holding and injecting it in at an angle, not straight in and not flat to your tummy, if that makes sense.
I think it's just pot luck what you hit on the way in, a tough bit, fatty bit (me, that is), muscly bit etc.
I tried to remember the rough area each time too, so I could move the next injection a little higher/lower, left/right ish. But again, still pot luck, other days better than others. As long as it's going in.
Slowly slowly catchy monkey, was my motto. Xx

Choccywoccydodah · 07/08/2015 19:13

I nicked a blood vessel or something a few times! Came up in a proper bruise after that!

clairemorgan81 · 07/08/2015 19:17

no don't have any frer I'm so doubtful a out it happening that I won't buy any as absolutely no point. the spotting has became heavier and more reddy today it will be back brown tomorrow as same pattern as last month.

dh isn't keen on going to coventry but I think I have convinced him it will be worthwhile. thinking I should wait til after gynae app. I had a smear last year, and mc consultant did an internal and swabs on April, do you think swabs would be for anything sinister? I'm now worrying it might be something bad x

Kazz2112 · 07/08/2015 19:58

Claire I would just expect the swabs were to test for infection. My doctor took swaps when my bleeding flared up massively a week post d&c. Took a few days for the results to come back but was all fine.

My trial nurse said not to worry about the angle as the needle is so small it wouldn't reach any deeper than the subcutaneous fat! Felt like saying - yes... thanks... I know I'm. not a skinny minnie. But she's so lovely I wouldn't have wanted to upset her!

Indiedog · 07/08/2015 20:48

Oh bless Kazz, that's funny, yeah I can Pinch more than an inch!! Hehehe.

Kazz2112 · 07/08/2015 20:57

She is literally the teeniest tiniest person I've ever met! Like a little doll!

Marchgirl · 08/08/2015 07:39

I know my ones are different (heparin not the drug ), but i pinch and push the needle in at right angles to the skin and push the needle all the way in, then release the pinch as I'm plunging. It seems to hurt less.

claire, i agree the swab would have been for any vaginal infections. I had a swab and urine sample after the last mc as i was worried about something like that but there was nothing. I take it you've had results? Fingers crossed still for you foryour bfp. How was the zoo yesterday? You picked a good day Smile

clairemorgan81 · 08/08/2015 08:16

March we had a wonderful day at zoo and weather was lovely.
the swabs were done following me mentioning the spotting before af and she said they were fine, so that wouldn't be same as smear? smear I presume looks for alot more?

haven't bothered testing today as went to loo in night and had red bleeding, same this morning so maybe start of af although ,5 days earlier than expected (this happened last month then it went back to brown) until af arrived.
.how's everyone hope your all okay.

how many weeks are you now again March,?x

Marchgirl · 08/08/2015 09:16

Smear looks specifically for pre cancerous cells and not for infections. I think infections can cause odd bleeding so that makes sense. Sorry it's red today claire, this is truly shit for you.

Glad you enjoyed the zoo. I'm 7+4 today (or 7+6 by scan). Next scan on tues 18th when i will be 9weeks

clairemorgan81 · 08/08/2015 09:33

March that's great I hope your holding up okay, as I can't imagine how nerve wracking it must be.x

philippa88 · 08/08/2015 11:14
