mas I'm only 21 + 5 so they said it was a tricky one but sent me to epu.
They've admitted me but have managed to hear the heartbeat thankfully.
I hadn't felt any movements all day until now (they said it was still
To small to feel regular movements but I have had regular movements for nearly 2 weeks now Confused) and Google says he's about 27cm which isn't small to be ) hope u are both ok ?
Oh and they don't know why I'm bleeding :( x

sizethree · 29/08/2015 22:26

PHEW! Glad there's a heartbeat and movement. And it's good they've admitted you so you get the best possible care.
I checked the Facebook page too to follow up on you, but I'm still getting VERY confused by people's re names! I'll need to seat up to remember them all.
I'm doing ok. My husband is away at a stag do this weekend and I had a big freak out this morning as I was kept awake all last night by movements and convinced myself that baby was in distress. But went into triage today (5.30am) and the midwife was amazing and I got a trace put on for half an hour and baby seems happy. He/she just seems to be a biggie so it's expected that I'll keep feeling a lot more defined movements up to the birth.
Everything worries me!
So glad I'm getting seen each week now though as I need that contact.
Hope you manage to get some rest and the bleeding disappears soon. X

MAS7 · 29/08/2015 23:43

Big relief Louise! What's their plan for looking after you? Hate that these things always happen on a weekend, have you text L?

MAS7 · 29/08/2015 23:49

About the movements when I was around that stage it was mostly regular like you said but every now and then I would go all day without feeling anything then just as I started to panic in the evening it would move. They are big but they also still have a lot of room to move unnoticed... When I went for a re scan at 22+3 I saw it moving on the screen but couldn't feel it so please don't let the movements stress you xxx

LouiseM1987 · 30/08/2015 09:09

So reassuring size and glad they were amazing as some nurses / midwives can be funny can't they ? Did they scan you ? Have u got growth scans too? Who are u seeing weekly ? That must take some stress off you knowing that.
mad haven't texted L as she's on holiday I'll probably call D Tuesday and just talk to her about it.
Not sure what they are doing with me yet... I've only briefly seen a nurse as I was getting cramps but because I don't have a drug chart she can't give me anything without a doctor ! I had codeine in my back so she said I could take that thankfully ! Bleeding has stopped now tho so that's something xx

MAS7 · 30/08/2015 09:15

Good that the bleeding has stopped. Hope you managed to get some sleep. Let us know how you go with the Dr this morning. x x

sizethree · 30/08/2015 09:29

So relieved the bleeding has stopped. Hopefully they'll update you soon with a care plan.
I'm seeing my midwife this week, GP next week, then midwife again so that'll pass a few weeks by and hopefully stop me from panicking as much. Not sure if I'll get another scan, I do hope so. But they said at the one last week that everything looks normal, I'm just growing a biggie. If I keep growing a bit fast, they'll probably scan me again.
Can't believe I've got another 9 weeks to cope with. I really just want this baby out safely asap.
X

LouiseM1987 · 30/08/2015 09:36

Tell me about it size I've got another 18 weeks to go ! I've been told I'm more likely be able to have a c section as I've been bleeding even if my placenta moves.
The 9 weeks will go so quickly ! Have they advised if they will induce you if you go over your due date ?
mas will do tho not sure when the doctors will come round I've not seen one on the ward yet :| I was asked if I'm getting a scan so now I really want one and doubt they will do one ! Argh why mention anything as it's now in my head and my next one isn't for over 7 weeks !
Have you both got anything nice planned for today and tomorrow ? X

MAS7 · 30/08/2015 09:58

We're off for lunch later today so looking forward to that.

They should be able to scan you there as long as you get a decent Dr. I had one on epu the Dr had this handheld machine, literally the size of an old mobile phone, flip style... The screen was only like 3 inches but it was enough to reassure me. That Dr was really lovely but some of them there are awful. hope you get a good one! x x

sizethree · 30/08/2015 11:48

I'm going to request I get induced as near to my due date as possible. I'm so anxious about this pregnancy that the sooner the baby arrived safely, the better. I won't be hanging around for the 2 weeks post due date malarkey. It'll be all hot curries, star jumps and sec to get this baby the hell outta me!
I'm off to lunch with my sister and my Dad as all 3 of us have birthdays close together.
It's sunny gif once up here in Edinburgh and the Festival is nearly over so less chaotic, so should be a nice day.
Are you going to be going hole today?
Ha Maz, hope you're good.

Choccywoccydodah · 30/08/2015 12:19

I don't think they let you go past 7 days for those at Cov, that's what I was told anyway. But that may be a consultant thing Hmm

Not doing a lot today. DS meant to be going to play next door this afternoon so it's measuring up for curtains and ironing for me! Rock and indeed ROLL!
Out with friends for lunch tomorrow so hopefully the weather cheers up a bit x

MAS7 · 30/08/2015 18:16

How are you getting on Louise? x

LouiseM1987 · 30/08/2015 20:18

You all sound like you've had lovely days ! I hope that's how the turned out !
mas I had another little bleed so they've advised me to stay in over night again. I couldn't stop crying as honestly thought it was over and she got the hand held scanner out so could see his little heart beating away. He's been really active today so that's reassuring in itself ! I messaged L and she's going to arrange a scan for me hopefully just to make sure and possibly more for my peace of mind knowing L ! Got to love her as she's in France I've told her I'll
Arrange but she insisted while she's traveling xx

MAS7 · 30/08/2015 20:37

Probably best that you stay, I imagine you'll be more relaxed there where help is at hand if you need it. I'm glad you got a scan... Those handheld things are great aren't they?! I joked I could get one for my handbag but I bet they cost a fortune!! Have they got any ideas what's going on?

L is so sweet bless her, hope she had a nice holiday she deserves it! x x

MAS7 · 31/08/2015 19:31

Hope you had a better day today Louise.

We have finally got round to sorting out the spare room ready to move DS in. He gets a bigger room and a bed with a slide so he's happy! Unfortunately the room is full of 3 years worth of junk so has been a bigger job than we thought!!

LouiseM1987 · 31/08/2015 21:15

Hi Mas I'm feeling much better thank you. Im finally home for discharged just before visiting so went home about 3 after waiting for all my discharge paperwork.

Oh that's sounds good tho ! And another step youve taken which is Amazing !!
I bet he is happy I would be if I got a bed with a slide ! How much fun would going to bed be knowing you can use the slide to get out Smile
Will you be decorating his new room for him
Before he goes in ?
Have you picked the nursery theme/ furniture yet ? Xx

MAS7 · 01/09/2015 10:21

We are hoping to get Ds room done next week as my mum and dad are taking him on holiday so will have some spare time. I've booked the week off work too so will need something to do! We don't really have a theme in the nursery yet, just pink I think!!

The last few days must have been horrible for you. Did you ever get any answers? Are you on bed rest now?

LouiseM1987 · 01/09/2015 11:43

Ah i bet he's so excited !
No didn't get any answers just that it was probably my placenta they didn't seem overly concerned so I'm not either now.
No they didn't say anything but I've taken today off and I've got a midwife appointment so just in the waiting room now, I'll see what she suggests however I don't think I can face work just yet I feel on edge all the time and my bipolar is creeping back :( because of everything going on xx

MAS7 · 01/09/2015 13:57

Hopefully she can sign you off while you let things settle down. Have you heard back from L?

LouiseM1987 · 03/09/2015 07:56

Sorry for the late reply ! My doctor signed me off for the week so just trying to chill. Got an appt today with the mental health team so a bit worried if I'm honest.

I may have bought the nursery furniture yesterday it was such a good deal we couldn't not get it ! I do feel worried now that I've jinxed something but know that can't happen. It's not getting delivered till
October thankfully wish they had later dates but they don't.
How are you all? Xx

Choccywoccydodah · 03/09/2015 14:56

Hellllloooo!!
Just having a quick rest from decorating the nursery. I'm covered in white dust from rubbing down the filling, L would kill me!!

Size there's a pinned post at the top of the FB page which says who is who if that helps :)

Hope all ok mas and you're getting some planning done too :) Bet you're more excited now!

How's everyone getting on that's not on the FB page? Xx

starlight11 · 03/09/2015 17:45

Louise - hope everything settles down, make sure you put your feet up this week.

Bump has been a bit quiet so we went to hospital today, everything was ok. I have a growth scan next week, I saw a different doctor yesterday and they thought I should be scanned due to early pregnancy bleeding and my history. Was really panicking yesterday :(. Hope everyone is good x

LouiseM1987 · 03/09/2015 18:25

Starlight that's good they've booked you in for a growth scan had you originally not been booked in to have one ? Which hospital are u at ? X

MAS7 · 03/09/2015 19:24

I spent a few hours at the hospital today for the same reason starlight! Went into fetal wellbeing, it's the first time I've been there and they were really nice... All was fine. Good they've booked you in for a growth scan.

You sound busy choccy... I think any midwife would tell you off for the dust!! Sometimes it's just nice to get things done though isn't it?

Definitely put your feet up Louise.

I take it a lot of people have moved to Facebook now. Does anyone know how Vicki is getting on?

LouiseM1987 · 04/09/2015 11:02

Oh mas so glad everything was ok, did they scan you there ?
It's where I went for all bar one early scan. When is your next scan ?
Xx
