LouiseM1987 · 08/08/2015 20:20

Oh wow philippa congratulations ! X

LouiseM1987 · 08/08/2015 20:20

Is it three boys and three girls now ? And one unknown ?
I should find out in a weeks and 3 days ???? so 2 unknowns I guess x

MAS7 · 08/08/2015 21:08

How did your appointment go today Louise?

LouiseM1987 · 08/08/2015 21:16

I had a different consultant than I was booked under but she seemed nice she wasn't going to book me in for growth scans as said there was no need then as we left she said I've requested a 28 and 34 week scan and I have to go back and see her at 28 weeks. Have you been discharged or do you have to go back ?
I was out in 45 mins from
When I arrived to when I left x

Brummiemum87 · 09/08/2015 07:59

Congratulations Philippa!!

Choccywoccydodah · 09/08/2015 08:09

So much better time wise on a Saturday Louise!!
Mine discharged me at my appt but now I'm not being fully discharged until after my 36 week scan!
If they speak to prof Q (yours too MAS), the prof likes scans every 4 weeks from 28 weeks x

MAS7 · 09/08/2015 09:22

Hi Louise. I have to see her at 28 weeks after first growth scan and regularly after that. I won't be discharged as they've classed me as high risk for labor/delivery due to previous emergency cesarean.

Growth scans are only 28 and 34 weeks though. I spoke to D about it and she said that was what they would have booked if my consultant hadn't agreed? I want more like you choccy!! Although I've just worked out Monday's scan to check the cord from anatomy scan (young lady was hiding it!) will be scan number 11!!

Excellent you were out so quick Louise. Did you get chance to talk about your wishes re early induction?

Kazz2112 · 09/08/2015 09:55

So does everyone on the trial get growth scans? shouldn't even be asking. way too far to go

LouiseM1987 · 09/08/2015 10:00

I wonder if we have the same consultant mas? I want more scans like choccy too haha. I was gutted when she said no to start with.
Yes I did she didn't say yes but equally didn't say no and said we will discuss is at my next appt.
Kazz im not sure if everyone gets them I'd like to think they do x

Kazz2112 · 09/08/2015 12:39

Feeling rather panicked today. I've got a horrible ache in my lower back that scares me. I do have a bad back and it has been playing up but this feels slightly different. My last, and earliest Mc (and only fill natural) was at 5+1 and I'm 5 weeks today based on AF so totally panicking and scared. Sad

Kazz2112 · 09/08/2015 13:20

I'm bleeding. totally panicked and don't know what to do. Sad

clairemorgan81 · 09/08/2015 13:53

oh kazz is it red or brown?x

MAS7 · 09/08/2015 14:53

So sorry to hear this kazz. Just take it easy the rest of the day and get on to trial team first thing. As so many of us on Here have said, bleeding doesn't always mean the worst so please keep hope.

Hi Louise, I'm under Dr Mukherkjee. Was supposed to be someone else but got changed on the day. Is that the same as you?

Vicki272 · 09/08/2015 16:06

Fingers and toes and everything crossed kazz, my lovely... Try and stay as calm as you can.

I know, easier said than done. Xx

Kazz, take it easy. What is it like, red, brown, stringy? When you wipe, or marking your knickers/pad?

I certainly had some brown stringy discharge etc, and others have had goings on too.
Take things easy, and ring them first thing. Xx

Kazz2112 · 09/08/2015 16:59

it's not marking the pad. Generally quite brown and watery on first wipe bit then a little more pinky. Not particularly clotty but there are a few little clots on a couple of wipes

Indiedog · 09/08/2015 17:30

Fingers crossed it's just things closing up in there and getting stuff out, if you know what I mean.
Feet up, and rest. Phone your team in the morning xxx
Fingers crossed for you xx

Choccywoccydodah · 09/08/2015 18:27

Hope it's just breakthrough bleed kazz and nothing to worry about. Have you called Epu?

My dr was Dr Dingra or something like that. She didn't book mine at my consultant appt as like I say she actually said they weren't necessary and discharged me!
It wasn't until a few weeks later that I got the letter about the scans after speaking to prof q, and she requested scans at 28,32 and 36 weeks.
I would've had 10 scans + 4d scan by the end so you're already ahead of me MAS!!

clairemorgan81 · 09/08/2015 19:19

how you feeling kazz,? I'm sorry your having this worry.x

Kazz2112 · 09/08/2015 20:18

It's still going and I've still got that horrible dull ache. I just don't believe that anything positive can now come of this.

I'm in at 12.30 tomorrow anyway but will give my trial nurse a ring in the morning to see what she says.

philippa88 · 09/08/2015 20:58

Oh kaz, my heart goes out to you, try to stay strong and have an early night, fingers crossed it's just a bump in the road xx

clairemorgan81 · 09/08/2015 21:04

lots of love kazz. the unknown is awful try and get some rest and let us know how you get on when you ring in morning . big hugs xx

Vicki272 · 09/08/2015 21:21

Thinking of you kazz. Try and have an early night. Xx
