Right... on the laptop now! Struggle to go through all the messages on the phone!

march have sent you a message Smile

Gen how are you feeling about handing the medication back?

Claire how are you doing my lovely? Seems like it has been ages!!

16 days Philippa i hope it flies by for you...

I am struggling with a week... Got the 6 week scan booked for next Tuesday, just hope all is still okay then. I still don't really feel pregnant, tiredness is the only real symptom... I guess it is still real early days but this one feels different in a way... I am not sure how. And i don't know if that is a good thing.

xx

Hey vicki at first handing medication back was scaring the poop out of me as I was convinced it was the only reason I was staying pregnant, now I'm ok about it as carrying on wouldn't do any good anyway as it's passed the point it would help and just to be happy I got on the drug/ placebo so early and that I hope it's done it's job even if that is just tricking me into thinking it's helping, I'm more worried about the scan as normal for me 2 days before a scan all my symptoms disappear and I'm convinced it's all good pear shaped only thing is as it's happened so many times I feel I cope better each time which is crazy to be almost planning a m/c.....

Hope time doesn't go too slowly for you until your 6 weeks scan! Xx

Vicki272 · 25/08/2015 22:49

I know exactly what you mean gen about the convincing yourself that it is going to be bad news, I had gone as far as trying to work out my work diary with the time I was going to have to take off with the ectopic i had convinced myself i was going to be having...

I think that fear will always be there for all of us, with what we have been through, I guess the best that we can hope for is a semi decent way of handling it.

So, now that the ectopic scare is out of the way, I am back to checking the tissue every time i go to the loo (which is loads - just to check)...

Craziness...

Morning ladies...

And the brown cm is back this morning... trying to stay calm. Did anyone else have this on and off like I have been having at all? xx

clairemorgan81 · 26/08/2015 07:05

sorry brown is back today Vicki. I can't really offer advice but you had it last week before this scan and all was seen that was expected if that makes sense. logically I'm thinking if that brown was bad news surely they wouldn't have seen sac? i might be talking shit mind......can you speak to trial team or epu maybe they would scan you before next one?x

MAS7 · 26/08/2015 07:08

Hi vicki... So far your pregnancy is exactly like mine. I had brown cm on and off until 10 weeks when I had a massive red bleed with clots... Then nothing since touch wood. The brown drove me crazy, would usually last 3 to 4 days then stop for a bit then come back. I'm sure you'll be the same. x x

Brummiemum87 · 26/08/2015 07:53

Hi Vicki your pregnancy sounds like mine, I started having brown cm around 5.5weeks & I had a heavy red bleed at 8weeks & then the brown tapered off. I had scans but no one could see what was causing the bleed so they just put it down to baby embedding into womb or that I had a polyp on cervix. It's so stressful, I still get nervous to check every time I go to the bathroom.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you x

Choccywoccydodah · 26/08/2015 08:54

Morning all,
Vicki sorry the brown is back again my lovely. Like some of the others have said, it can be perfectly normal and 'just one of those things' but totally getting how scared you must be.

Philippa, bet you're so excited about you scan!!! Not long now :)

Gen handing back the meds was probably the hardest thing I've done. You convince yourself everything will go wrong, but like you said your body is taking over now x

I ALMOST set up a FB page a couple of days ago as this site is driving me insane!!
It's obvs not their fault but I wanted to know all was ok with Vicki at her scan and there was no way of knowing as I couldn't bloody get on!!

Choccywoccydodah · 26/08/2015 08:56

Right, pm me your real names on FB and I'll add you to the group x

Choccywoccydodah · 26/08/2015 08:59

Choccywoccydodah · 26/08/2015 09:09

Yes it's secret so only if you're invited can you see.
I may have to 'friend' you first as when I type your name in the add bit only my friends are coming up, hope that's ok x

clairemorgan81 · 26/08/2015 09:13

of course choccy x

philippa88 · 26/08/2015 09:58

I've pm'd you choccy! I think using fb will be better anyway since this website can be a right clart on! X

Indiedog · 26/08/2015 10:25

Will the FB group show up on my page. I know it says secret, never been in a Secret group before, I say that in a spy like way, hehehe.
Just don't want all my FB friends etc knowing!
Looked in notifications etc, can't see if there are any settings to make sure it doesn't ping up!

Sorry to be a pain x

Choccywoccydodah · 26/08/2015 10:40

No secret groups don't show, just double check when you're posting though that you're noto Ousting to your main FB x

Choccywoccydodah · 26/08/2015 10:42

I'm just going to a friends now so if you want to get on while I'm not here, Philippa, Indie, March and Claire are all on too so they can add you on, otherwise I'll be back on later this aft x

Vicki272 · 26/08/2015 12:25

Right, choccy and march I have found and friends requested you Smile

Thanks for this morning ladies (MAS, Claire, Brummie and Choccy)

That helped hugely... I mean i guess the other consideration is that maybe it is a side effect of the drug and we are on it... I guess will just have to try and stay calm and be logical. It is a tricky one though isn't it??

How are we all? xx

OP posts:
clairemorgan81 · 26/08/2015 17:15

how's the brown now Vicki?

I've been keeping a low profile as feeling pretty shit with it all but other than that all is well. a lady on the other thread is selling a fertility monitor-any thoughts? has anyone used one?

I have positive opk today so that's good, still thinking of going to Coventry soon for further testing.

are we using this thread of fb now?x
