Hi everyone,

Here's our shiny new thread continuing from the old 'who wants to buddy up' thread (sorry, don't know how to link). I'm sure some regulars will be along in a minute and also anyone else who is ttc and would like some company is very welcome to join- we're very friendly!

Hi lovelies,
Just a little update from me:
Had second scan on Friday, the contents of my uterus are not going anywhere so I have been booked for the procedure on Tuesday morning.
I'm emotionally OK now. I've come to terms with it. I've been in terrible pain for two days and had a tiny amount of bleeding but I am being kind to myself and have 2 hot water bottles on the go. We will not try again immediately we'll take at least one month off whilst I recover.

Good luck to all of you. I will keep an eye out to see how you're all doing xxx

Now in the 2ww, 2dpo today. We didn't dtd as much this month, infact we did it the least times since starting trying. CD8, 13, 16 and 17. Also didn't use any opk's this month so don't know when/if ov occurred, but going by past months it should have been CD16. So theres still a chance, but can't help but think not a very good chance if we dtd considerably more times the last four cycles but didn't get pregnant then? Oh well fingers crossed an all that.

violet I'm at a stand still at present Sad doing opks every other day at min but all neg and still no af and bfn too. I'm slowly losing the will to live....trying to concentrate on my diet and have become bit of an obsessive cleaner lol and just generally trying to keep busy as not to think about it xx

It must be so difficult in that situation! I'm not looking forward to that when we ttc again, but maybe your relaxed approach will do you good! Xxxx

well I've had a faint line on a ovulation test this morning I think....not sure Wetherby to go with it or not tho as I looked bit after recommend time. Confused . will do another tomorrow morn and maybe dtd tonight just in case x

well another 2 lines on ovulation test again today Smile . 2nd line fainter but Deffo there and brighter than yesterday. can you get a false negative on a ovulation test????

feeling hopeful things are moving in correct direction!!!!

also on a fantastic note diet still going fab and an 11lbs weight loss in 19 days Grin Grin Grin xxx

Yay Nicky that's good news about your tests. Sounds like the levels are still building up but going in the right direction. If you are using internet cheapies I would test twice a day now the second line is starting to get darker. Congrats on the weight loss, good work!!

I've run out and not managed to get more Sad thought I had another box but apparently not. I'm so mad with myself. I think by morning when I can get somewhere for some it will be too late. only managed to dtd one too so not looking hopeful. feeling meh today xx

Nicky Cant you get to a supermarket before 4. I know morrisons do them! Will you not be able to dtd again tonight or tomorrow?

I saw the tiniest speck of pink on the tissue when i wiped today, but it was so slight im thinking i may just have gone mad and imagined it!!!

Yesterday i bought tampax and pregnancy tests in the same shop!!! Thank god for self-service checkouts!!! The reason for this was i needed to get some in case AF comes on friday/saturday but thought i might jinx myself by buying them, so my answer to this conundrum was to buy both, thus cancelling each other out!!

update from me....
opk test today neg. so thinking peak day may have been Saturday.

opk thursday- 2 lines (2nd fainter)
opk Friday - 2 lines (2nd stronger)
no opk sat or sun
opk today - 1 line.

dtd Friday and sunday.
so fx I have ovulated and maybe caught on Grin xx

Nicky Oh I didn't realise the second line was stronger on Friday! Yay so positive opk Friday say ov was on Saturday and now your in the 2ww with me!!

Update from me, had mild period like cramps on Sunday evening and into the Monday morning, which was 8 and 9dpo, (AF not due till Sat). I've looked back through my app where I note my symptoms and I haven't had mild cramping that early before. I've decided its one of 5 things: option 1 - a baby embedding in, option 2: a baby trying to bed in but it then can't for some reason, option 3 - period related and meaning Im going to come on early, option 4 - period related but af will be at normal time, or option 5: I'm mistaken an its actually pain from another organ! Hoping its option 1 obviously!!

I'm confused again now as I actually sat and read the opk instructions last night and it states that if the test line is fainter than control line then it's unlikely ovulation will occur in next 48 hrs!!!! I missed sat and sun test but yesterday it had gone back to 1 control line Sad Sad so who knows...back to square 1 xx

I would say ov was saturday or sunday then! Either way your into the 2ww now!! Good luck!!
