Hi everyone,

Here's our shiny new thread continuing from the old 'who wants to buddy up' thread (sorry, don't know how to link). I'm sure some regulars will be along in a minute and also anyone else who is ttc and would like some company is very welcome to join- we're very friendly!

bananafish ....touch wood no unpleasant effects as yet Smile but I am being very careful about what I eat. I did however have sausage and chips last night from chippy and had bad stomach pains most of night so will avoid them in future. looking at joining slimming world next week as done that before and enjoyed it xx

aw what a rough ride some of you are having. sorry to hear your news sparks hugs to you and to you mrs...this ttc lark can be so bloody cruel.

still nothing for me and on cd 62 now Sad Sad Sad Sad . poas yesterday and bfn again which I knew it would be Sad . I got some opks but couldn't even face it this morning...what's the point really!! so putting ally efforts into losing weight at the min in the hope that I will just fall pregnant and hope my fears of I'm "over the hill" arn't true Confused xx

Nicky I'm not sure how much you weigh (can't remember if you said), but someone I know made loads of national publications with her story about losing weight to increase her fertility.
If you google 'Siobhann O'Brien Manchester Weight Loss' her story is amazing. The attention was on her last summer, but not sure if any of them have followed up with her, she fell pregnant in January and is due in a few weeks!

Hi. Can I join please? I'm not gonna lie, been semi stalking the TTC pages for a while! My stats: 34 #1 cycle13 otd 05/08 I've a 32day cycle so I'm in the waiting game. Just kinda thought It would happen so haven't done anything apart from dtd every 2/3 days... (And having the odd surreptitious look on here!) Clearly my attack plan is not working! Bit bamboozled and slightly overwhelmed by all the gadgets/charting etc and tbh don't really know where to start. Good luck to everyone, any advice warmly welcome :) Suzie x Smile

Hey, nope, literally using nothing at all other than a vague idea of when I'm supposed to be ovulating. No opk, no nothing, but its been over a year now so its time to up my game! Do you recommend any brand? Website? I've really been trying to not get too caught up it in but now I'm symptom spotting so subconsciously it must be playing on my mind, I've practically convinced myself that this is the month for us! Lol :)

Hey lovelies

Well today we travelled 40 odd mile to go and take a pregnancy test... No scan because my test come back negative :/ if obviously miscarried that day I was in loads of pain, but she didn't do the test with my first pee of the day
My OH has some doubts and wants clarification! I'm sort of by the worst of it, this week has been torment enough so if asked to go back to work on Thursday

Ooh maybe a bfp is on its way to you if you have all these symptoms duck! Fingers crossed for you xxxxx

Hey, cheers :) I'll go buy some if AF makes yet another appearance, I feel different this time though, this is the first month I've felt like I could be, but it could just all be in my overly emosh head! I'm not going to try temping, I work shifts including nights so I don't think it would work well for me and just be something else to worry about. Thanks for the advice n good luck :)

Hi everyone

I didn't want you all to think I'd just disappeared without a word. I'm just ducking out a bit as I know it wouldn't be very helpful having me hang around on here with my BFP when so many of you are going through a tough time right now.

Thank you all so much for being so lovely and supportive over the past many many months, it's been amazing and really kept me sane.

Thinking of you all and I'll keep an eye on the thread to check you're all getting those BFPs! xxxx

Holy sht blls. I think I've got implantation bleeding, or I've came on super early which is why I've felt mental for days.... Aaarrrgggh! When can I test? I'm due on the 5th Aug. (32 day cycle-usually regular)

Scan is on Friday.
Just taking each day as it comes. I imagine I will need to have the D&C procedure as baby has made herself comfortable and no sign of me miscarrying x

Issie completely understand about you ducking out, but and it may be because it isn't me going through anything atm I think its nice having newly pg people on the thread, it gives a bit of positivity and hope, so I hope you will keep posting. But if not be sure to check in on the 15th!!!

This is my completely relaxed cycle, so for the first time since starting trying, I have used no opk's and done no temping, and had some coffees!! Also only had sex twice so far lol CD8 and CD13, I know that is too relaxed so going to up our game now and go for eod

I have started doing opks again. first one this aft was neg so just a case of keep doing now until get a positive one. Confused . x
