Hi everyone,

Here's our shiny new thread continuing from the old 'who wants to buddy up' thread (sorry, don't know how to link). I'm sure some regulars will be along in a minute and also anyone else who is ttc and would like some company is very welcome to join- we're very friendly!

Hi ladies,
Shitty times for me this morning. Sent my early message before getting out of bed, got out of bed to find I was bleeding. Got docs appointment in an hour. I am so so scared :-(
Will let you know how I get on at the docs. Got a few cramps now too. Gutted.

I will google EPU now. Worried the doctor might struggle to reassure me! I really want a scan but don't know what my chances are as I'm not quite 8 weeks x

I have found my local hospital on www.earlypregnancy.org.uk/findus2.asp?region=South%20East
It says referral only so will ask GP at my appointment.

Doctor has sent referral form to the EPU and i have to wait for them to call me with a time - hopefully today, but could be tomorrow. She said something about 'threatened miscarriage' so I'm gonna get on Google now x

duck I still haven't had chance to tell him, I haven't seen him! He got home after I was asleep and left for work at 5:30 this morning as usual. I've told him to really try to get home at a decent time tonight!

How exciting! :-)

I am trying to relax. Have called the EPU and said I had expected to hear from them by now. They said they were sorry, they hadn't gotten around to call me but will call me soon. Errr hello! I'm on the phone now?! I couldn't bring myself to argue, I'll just wait my turn. Cramps are coming and going xx

They have just called me to offer a scan at midday tomorrow. Cramps have been coming and going and so has the bleeding. It's manageable at the moment, I am in bed watching TV on my iPad. I told work I had a migraine xx

Mrs so sorry to hear that you are going through this worry. How are you now? If the bleeding gets worse in the meantime make sure you phone the EPU back for advice! If your using towels take note of how often you're having to change them, as they will ask about this. (Did some of my training on EPU/gynae). Your doing the best thing you can do, just by resting up for now. I've also got everything crossed for you! Is your OH with you? xxx
