Hi everyone,

Here's our shiny new thread continuing from the old 'who wants to buddy up' thread (sorry, don't know how to link). I'm sure some regulars will be along in a minute and also anyone else who is ttc and would like some company is very welcome to join- we're very friendly!

I agree! You maybe are able to go to docs and get a blood test! If it's really worrying you just tell them exactly how you feel!

nothing to report from me. still awaiting af Confused been a good 6 weeks now I think so probably need to do a test Altho I think it will be bfn....Sad

mrs, call into your gp and they will book you in with a midwife. Midwife will get your medical history, give you a pack and refer you for scan.

Duck sorry to hear you've been worrying, I would imagine that in early pregnancy your levels of hcg are going to be so low that different sensitivities of tests, times of day, concerntrations of urine etc are going to make all the difference at the moment where there is such a fine line between positive or negative. Maybe phone gp to enquire about a blood test if it would get it off your mind though, as the baby doesn't need you stressing yourself out! And have some Flowers too x

I don't think it will be bfp for a second. I have had really sore boobs for good few days last week and I'm feeling really tired but trying not to think too much of it x

I took the other Clearblue test this morning which again was BFP. I guess that confirms it for me.
Now I am feeling so scared about everything I'm reading about overweight pregnancies. I guess there is not a lot I can do now other than be as healthy as I can. I'm off for a swim today xx

duck sorry to hear about your Mum. Hope she is ok. Take care of yourself too. I would stick with one brand of test and only test with first morning sample. All tests will work on slightly different hcg levels. As a rule hcg doubles i think every 48 hrs. Will google to check that but fairly sure its something like that. What tests have you been doing? And what results? Sorry if i missed that info, can't scroll back on phone.

Like you violet i have been busy trying to make a babba!! My folks arrived yesterday and stayed over in our tiny wee cottage!! Dh got all 'i can't do it, your mother is next door!!' which was pretty bloody annoying because i got a positive opk yesterday. We did kind of manage, in a fashion although the desired product went everywhere other than my cervix in a bid to do things quietly, far tmi sorry ladies Blush

listen choc if i had a turkey baster to hand i would have!! I did try my best to direct it upstream so to speak but who knows!!
Not sure if i have ov'd or not. Temp was 36 this morn which is my cover line. My ovary still feels swollen so not sure the follicle has ruptured yet. I will force dh to perform later once folks are away try again tonight hopefully.

Can anyone else feel which side they ovulate on? I always do! It is the left ovary this month!! or am i a freak Grin

mrs try not to worry hun in both my pregnancies I was overweight and just tried to be healthy and eat well. although both my boys were big babies but then again so was I Smile x

I will pee on a stick tomorrow. Shock
with the mother in law today so don't really want to be purchasing pee sticks with her around lol x

Mmm guess I am a freak! I have always felt pain around ovulation! Poas again tonight and opk still looks positive. Although when i say pos it is as strong as i have ever seen it but last time i only stayed dark for a short time. This time it has been 24hrs!! Wtf?? Hopefully my temp in the morning will shed some light.

nicky how big were your babies? Were they straight forward deliveries?
My lot got heavier with each dc. 7lb12, 8lb5, 9lb9. Should i expect #4 to be 10lb+ Shock Oh god please no!! Although I could do the weight as long as they have small shoulders!! The head is never a problem but my two girls had shoulders like professional league rugby player thanks to my 6ft7 dh yeah thanks love

Is it common in very early pregnancy to do a redicilous amount of burping!!? No idea what is going on with me this past 2 days! Just wondered if that is related or if I'm making shit up like my thigh bruise!

my 1st was 9lb 7oz and was emergency section as he got stuck Sad

2nd was 9lb 11oz and was planned section lol...

I was 9lb 1oz and my brother was 5lb so maybe you will go back down in size Smile

mrs not something I experienced but everyone different. I'm having some pains like (tmi alert) Confused I need to go to the loo for a number 2 but I don't if that makes sense lol....and boobs still tad sore but not as much as week ago x

Nicky that's exactly the pain I had for the whole of last week. Sort of like a constipated pain? I wasn't constipated though.

I called the docs this morning and they have given me a midwife appointment for 4th August. Seems ages away. Hope everything is OK between now and then. I'm worrying every time I go to the loo that I'm gonna find blood! Why am I such a pessimist!??
