Hi everyone,

Here's our shiny new thread continuing from the old 'who wants to buddy up' thread (sorry, don't know how to link). I'm sure some regulars will be along in a minute and also anyone else who is ttc and would like some company is very welcome to join- we're very friendly!

mrs i am a worry wart too. In each of my pregnancies i have had to have early scans as i have had terrible one sided pain. Each time i had an ovarian cyst that then resolved on its own during pregnancy. There is no benefit to a scan before 7 weeks imo because you really want to see a fetal heart. Once the fh has been seen your risk of mc reduces considerably.
Maybe in a week or so you might have these sharp twingy one sided pains and need a scan Grin I understand the need for reassurance in early pregnancy. Alternatively I am sure there are places where you can pay for a very early scan just like you can pay for gender indentifying scans. Just look after yourself and try and take it easy even if your mind is in overdrive with every possible problem/worry! Smile Eat well and sleep as much as you can Flowers

inmyshoos · 29/06/2015 09:16

mrs just had a look onlune for early private scans. If you don't come down with the dreaded one sided pain Grin you can get an early scan at 8 weeks for around 40 quid. 40 quid to put your mind at rest might be money well spent.

Mrs1986 · 29/06/2015 09:26

Yes amazing!! I might just do that. I suppose if I don't bleed I've got nothing to worry about- other than the gestational diabetes and million and one other things!
I am sleeping loads - I'm a big sleeper! And I am trying to eat healthy too. From tomorrow I am on holiday so I will relax a lot more hopefully xxx

nickynackynoo31 · 29/06/2015 10:23

shoes you make me laugh lol....I still haven't poas Confused need to go buy one yet lol.
I too was a complete worrier in my 2nd pregnancy. felt shocking with sickness up to 12 week then I started bleeding...bled from week 12 to 20 with no real explanation and then the little monkey would go for hours without moving so you can guarantee every weekend I would be in hospital on fetal monitor where he would come alive Grin ....

I know it's hard mrs but try relax (harder done I know) Thanks xx

Mrs1986 · 29/06/2015 10:34

Ooooh I have missed soo much!

Nicky go poas ???????????? Its so exciting!! Fx for you!!

Duck, I hope your hcg pick up! It must be such a worry but hopefully it's just because it's early days!

Violet, how's the baby making going? Mines been put on hold! I have a henny this weekend and my oh is being wary! Hopefully when I come back we can catch the days I'm ovulating! My calendar says I'm ovulating until the 9th! My prime day is the day I won't see oh! :( kinda wish I wasn't going! I'm a little scared, I think Iv been making up symptoms and don't want to do a test before I go in case it's positive... Then everyone will know because I won't be drinking ????

Shoos I'm in knots at all this turkey basting stuff lol! So funny!
I'm so jealous of you knowing when you are ovulating! I sometimes get a wee pain near my AF but never thought anything of it! It can vary so it maybe is my ovaries!

How is everyone doing? Xxx

VioletIbiza88 · 30/06/2015 16:21

Hellooo,

Sparks its going good thanks, only problem is OH didn't like the pre-seed lube I bought, so that was a waste as I've only used it once. I used a 1/4 of a pipette too, so don't think it could feel that different! Think he's just been mardy tbh, but hey-ho never mind. So far dtd CD9, 10 and 11 and had a day off yesterday. Think my plan is now its CD13 to go daily until we can't be bothered anymore and then every other day. I'm wondering if I've been relying too much on the opk's to time dtd, and then missing it if I'm oving a lot later than what the opk would suggest? For example the last three months we've hardly dtd from CD19 to AF day. Hence the new plan...

Nicky just get a test girl!!! You could do it today, youve not had a period for 6 weeks for god sake!!!!!!!!! And can I just ask what kind of ttc'er are you if you don't have 20 odd IC's lying around your house?????? Wink Grin

Rubberduck I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you! hope you and bean and mothership are all okay!

nickynackynoo31 · 30/06/2015 19:51

Hi ladies. hope you are all well.

choc hope things are OK for you and hope your mums ok too hunny. Thanks

violet we have been rubbish this month Confused only dtd about 4 times Altho one was before I had ov pain so you never know lol....but I HAVE A TEST LOL..... so by tomorrow morning I will know one way or another.

I must confess tho I have done bit of a crazy thing today Confused Confused
someone I knew was getting rid of a pram and I said I would take it....told a little white lie that a friend would use it Shock Shock
I love it and it's in great condition. other half refusing to have it in house tho lol says it's bad luck so it's currently residing in his work van till I can move it without kids seeing lol....oh the shame Smile x

nickynackynoo31 · 30/06/2015 19:53

I have my ppl mixed up Confused this is how much this thread confuses me on my phone....should of said duck not choc x

Mrs1986 · 30/06/2015 21:54

Another premature pram buyer?! Haha you girls crack me up. Checking the thread (think I'm addicted!) from Paris.
I had absolutely no idea how hard I would find not drinking- plus Paris is absolutely the wrong place to be when preggers - full of rare meat, soft cheese and amazing wine. It's like torture!!
I've nicknamed the contents of my uterus 'Pip' and told her she better be so grateful to me for the restraint I'm showing!! DH says I'm probably jinxing by talking about it like it's a real person??

inmyshoos · 01/07/2015 06:24

Well Nicky??? >

nickynackynoo31 · 01/07/2015 07:50

bfn Sad Sad Sad

I didn't think it would bother me but it's really upset me. feeling meh today x

inmyshoos · 01/07/2015 08:03

Oh no nicky that is rubbish. Sorry hon.
Maybe try some supplements that help regulate your cycle. I started vit b complex, evening primrose and magnesium/zinc/calcium. My cycle got a bit longer 32 days and had loads of ewcm. Worth a try? Sending you a big hug love Flowers

nickynackynoo31 · 01/07/2015 08:13

thanks shoes. I am willing to.try anything...just need af to turn up now so at least then I will know where I am and can start opk again. damn you bodyConfused x

Mrs1986 · 01/07/2015 09:17

Sorry Nicky! I think it will have been harder because there was such a build up. It must be so frustrating without AF. Have a word with your doc and see if they can recommend anything to regulate your cycle? Xxx

Ah nicky that's shit. Know Exactly how you feel I'm now CD40 and not even so much as a sign of AF and 1 BFN last week. I wasn't expecting how deflating seeing the 'Not Pregnant' pop up actually my is! I didn't even really think I was pregnant but just feels like a kick in the teeth seeing it doesn't it! I just struggle to know how long now do I go without doing another test as I do like a few drinkies at the weekends! I don't want another BFN low but then again don't want to drink of there is a chance I could be?! Chin up hopefully our bodies will get the idea soon! Xx

VioletIbiza88 · 01/07/2015 10:05

duck have you had a repeat hcg test? Fingers well an truely crossed for you that everything is alright. X

Nicky sorry for bfn, its horrible to see even though you tell yourself to expect it, even worse with such a build up playing with your mind. I hope that af doesn't leave you waiting too long and you can move on to cycle 3 an a march/April spring babba. X

Anyone who gets ov pain what is it like? This morning I had a stitch like pain in my right side which lasted a couple of minutes, its CD 14 today an I usually ov on day 15 or 16 according to opks ? Opk is negative this morning, but strongest line I've had this month?
