I have been ridiculously tired this past week (so much more than usual)
and my boobs Sad well total different story.....my nipple are so so sore and sensative it's crazy (never been so painful before)
trying not to think too much but it's now been a good few days and it's starting to bug me Sad x

chocfireguard · 19/06/2015 21:29

Ooooooh, nicky... FX for you! Xx

Issie339 · 19/06/2015 22:10

nickynackynoo31 · 19/06/2015 22:26

thanks guys. I'm not holding out any hope but I am tempted to buy a test tomorrow just to check Confused .

I also have my eye on a pram I really want and it's only on sale for few more days....I've already hinted very heavily at oh to buy it but he just looks at me like I've gone mad!!! x

Issie339 · 20/06/2015 08:24

Ooh which pram is it nicky

Slightly strange one from me this morning- so after 4.5 days of brown spotting my AF hasn't arrived. It's due today or Sunday I reckon but the spotting hasn't got heavier it's totally disappeared and usually any spotting I have gets heavier and becomes AF. I'm almost hoping AF just hurries up and arrives so I can move on to the next cycle. I know you hear of stories of people getting a bfp after a week of brown spotting but isn't that like the 0.5% whilst the 99.5% are just having a weird AF? Frustrating. And now I'm worried there's something wrong with me to be having this weird AF!! Gahh! Confused

Yes very quiet on here this weekend! We've been away all weekend at ANOTHER wedding.

A bit more brown sporting for me yesterday which has disappeared again today- so weird!

Sorry to hear your mum's not been well duck Flowers how frightening having her in hospital. Great news that she's home again now though. What's your otd? Exciting that the nip issue is still ongoing Grin

chocfireguard · 21/06/2015 12:49

So sorry you sound to have had a hard weekend, duck Flowers.

Really weird, issie, sounds like quite a while for spotting not to have turned into af. I have absolutely no suggestions to offer (useless, I know)!

Very quiet, you're right. issie, wedding season hit us last year. Hope its not getting in the way of dtd!

Putneymummy1 · 21/06/2015 14:06

Issie Sorry to horn in unannounced and don't know if this is helpful or not but I had exactly what you are describing and it was IB. We conceived DS on CD 11 or 12 and I had IB starting CD 23 for quite a few days. Enough to think it was af starting and to have to use a tampon. On CD 24 I had stabbing pains around my right ovary area which I now know was the implantation, though at the time I thought I'd come on, knew nothing about implantation and thought I was getting appendicitis!! Anyway - a million apologies for banging on if it does turn out to be af. It's just that is sounds so like mine with ds that I felt moved to post! By way of intro, I'm 39 (not for much longer!) and just started tttc number 2 xx

Issie339 · 21/06/2015 14:30

Hi putneymummy don't worry about wading in unannounced, we love a bit of that on this thread Grin How many days did you get the brown discharge for? It's just so weird but I don't want to get my hopes up of a BFP as I know in all likelihood it isn't! Plus I went in a steam room, jacuzzi, drank champers and coffee over the last 2 days so not great if I am pregnant- whoops

choc it's like as soon as we turned 30 all our friends decided it was time to get married haha, we haven't been at home for 3 weekends in a row!

OP posts:
Putneymummy1 · 21/06/2015 14:35

It was about 5/6 days for me. I got quite worried! Best of luck anyway. Will check back to see how it goes!

chocfireguard · 21/06/2015 15:02

Ooh putneymummy, this is sounding quite exciting! Please do wade in! As issie says, the more the merrier!

issie, my friend who is due in Oct went on an alcohol infused weekend in Rome before she found out, and all is progressing normally. I spoke to a midwife the other day who said she had had a heavy night out when pg with her ds and he is now 18. She also said that the uterus is a good filter! If it is a bfp, I'm sure one weekend of coffee and champers will be ok

Issie339 · 21/06/2015 17:03

Thanks putneymummy I'll definitely keep you all updated.

Thanks for the reassurance choc I think it's the jacuzzi that would be the most cause for concern! But I'm still pretty sure this won't be a bfp so I'm not fretting too much just yet.

How's everyone else? We haven't had a bfp on this thread for ages!!!

Mrs1986 · 21/06/2015 19:45

Hi all,
Last night my DH went on a date night and spent ages talking about baby names! so eager for test day on 29th - although I might hang on until 30th as I'm not working on 30th so I can enjoy the day better if I do get a bfp xx

chocfireguard · 21/06/2015 21:30

issie, please try not to worry...(pot, kettle, black!!!). From my understanding, the main concern with jacuzzis is of overheating... If it was in any way like my gym jacuzzi, there would be little chance of that ever happening!! You would have felt feint if it was lowering your blood pressure in any way, so hopefully you can reassure yourself on that part? I think that of you can't recall feeling particularly warm, you will be absolutely fine xx

Issie339 · 21/06/2015 22:16

Thanks choc you are very wise. How are you anyway? Not eaten any more frying pan today I hope Grin

VioletIbiza88 · 22/06/2015 13:44

Issie is there any update? Have you tested yet? x

Issie339 · 22/06/2015 15:07

Hi violet tested this morning as AF due today/yesterday and bfn as expected but still no AF. Might leave it til the end of the week and test again just in case but now I'm wondering why I've skipped an AF and what day to count as cd1??

How are you? When does the dtd marathon start?

OP posts:
chocfireguard · 22/06/2015 19:12

Hehe, issie, I never said, the amazing, kind nurse on the phone said "do you think it might just be that you ate some burnt food?"...!!!!!! Still, I am a ceramic convert now... Bit weird missing an af when ttc???!!! FX!

How are you violet?

Mrs1986 · 22/06/2015 19:55

I'm cd24 too ducky.
Had nothing at all symptom-wise but today my boobs have started to feel a bit tender. If no AF I will text next Tuesday morning. If no bfp this cycle, I'm upping my game and buying a thermometer x

Issie339 · 22/06/2015 20:04

Haha choc she probably thought you were nuts Lols, but we're allowed to be crazy when we're ttc and with our kids- I remember taking DD to the doctors when she was a few weeks old (emergency appointment, obviously!) all worried that her rash was meningitis and they were like 'errrr...it's a heat rash' okey dokey, I'll be going then GrinBlush

Yeh no idea what my body is doing, it's decided to just do its own thing sigh.

Ooh duck what day is AF due? That sounds like some good symptoms, fx for you.

mrs1986 I've never done temping, is it better than opks? Not really much idea about it.

inmyshoos · 23/06/2015 08:00

issie temping is way more reliable than opks. It is the best way to see if you are ovulating. Once you see the thermal shift you know that is when you have ovulated and also in the luteal phase when you see a drop in temp it means af is coming! If there is no drop in temp once you have 18 high temps that is pretty conclusive of pregnancy.

Very quiet ladies!! What you all at? I am busy dtd whenever dh isn't having a moment of panic about having a 4th Grin Think i am cycle day 14 but no sign of ovulation yet. Plenty dtd though Grin

Issie339 · 23/06/2015 08:20

mrs and duck I'm with you on the temping, think I'll be buying a thermometer too- thanks for the info shoos

Good job on the dtd-marathon shoos

duck keep us updated on the testing
