Going to consultant on Saturday to see next steps. Think I'll end up being given clomid as we don't want to do IVF yet (and we can't afford to for at least 6 months) so will just have to try something in the mean time

Hello all! I know I'm a bit of a LPB but I try and stay away from time to time to keep the crazy at bag.

Cycle 5 for me now. AF was 2 weeks late for cycle 4 (thought I was skipping entirely but apparently was just mega late). HPT was negative (also after AF visited in case it wasn't "really" AF).

As I've said before, I'm considering contacting my Obgyn after this cycle is over (or around 6 months) so that I can at least get bloods or something done. I've no doubt there will be talk about my weight being an issue. What sucks is on the one hand I know it's probably not helping (neither is my age) but on the other 2 girls I know who weigh over 200kgs and had no trouble conceiving. Ugh. Suppose a general "check" won't kill me anyway (checking thyroid etc as well).

Many congrats to the BFP's already (Oyster, Night, Purdie just to name the few I saw).

Commiserations to my fellow AF hosts. Hope she departs soon!

Hi bbh, welcome! I don't mean to sound harsh but have you considered losing weight? 200kg+ is considerably overweight and will definitely not be helping your ttc chances. Being 31 is much less of an issue.

Also, where in the world are you? Weight in kg blows my mind a bit (only know mine in kg as that's what my sport operates in!)

Morning all! How is everyone? Had mega AF cramps in the early hrs but no sign of the witch yet. Crazy weather here. Definitely not like it should be in June. At least I'm working from home today!

Argh stuck on the ferry from Calais to Dover because of the weather! Been on here for 4 hours so far and no sign of docking yet (it's only meant to take 90 minutes). The ferry is all over the place and the waves are huge

Welcome bbh and I'd agree with your plan to ask for bloods etc. We requested tests after ttc for 6 months but told a little porky and said it had been 10 months, that's how we found out about DH having no sperm. Better to know so we didn't spend many more months of hope/misery/frustration and all the other emotions that ttc comes with!

Urghhh to cramps queen, must have been grim to wake you up! Hope today is ok and the witch keeps her distance.
