Keep, no not at risk of ectopic but they won't give me the clexane prescription until they have done a location scan when I get my next BFP. To make sure it's in the right place before they support it growing. Routine procedure I'm led to believe, but they haven't said anything to me re timings, guess that will all be discussed on 1/6. Am just hoping that I get a BFP by then, can still feel things happening inside which is promising, but have felt this so many times and been right every time and had a BFP, sadly getting the BFP for me is the easy bit, have lost the last 4 but am hoping the medication makes a difference.

jaggythistle · 25/05/2015 09:39

Fingers crossed and lots of brooking loopy!

I've officially escaped from my work now, seeing as I'm the size of the Moon this is probably a good thing.

I'm days behind here as usual, and only read the last couple of posts. Blush

Maybe I can catch up a bit now I don't have to think about work.

jaggythistle · 25/05/2015 09:48

Ooo a wee boy far. :)

Hope baby does move somewhere more comfy cups! I've to see the MW later in the week so will see if mine is behaving.

GenericDietCola · 26/05/2015 16:50

Hi all, remember me? No more brooking babies here, but I think of you all and pop in to brook every now and then!

Cups, I just wanted to offer a note of caution. My brooking baby was also transverse. I won't bore you with details, but I ended up with a sort of emergency section as his heart rate was dropping. Anyway, it turned out he was tightly wrapped in his cord and turning him could have been very dangerous due to the risk of placental abruption. Do you know if the position of his cord was checked at the scan? I also had a late scan and this was not picked up. I understand your desire for a VB (I was the same), but I just wanted to offer the other view - I found there was a lot of info about how to turn babies, but less on the risks. I hope you don't mind me putting in my two penneth!

Love and brooking to you all Flowers

BeedlesPineNeedles · 27/05/2015 07:00

waves to gen

good luck loopy with your appointment, I hope there is a sticky bean this time.

I got my positive OPK this morning so I will be ringing the clinic this afternoon, but I think my FET should be on Saturday and I'm not 100% sure if they do stuff on weekends - and I don't want the office junior dealing with my precious little frosty! But if it doesn't happen we'll have to wait until August. MrB will be on rat-smacking duty this evening just in case this is a golden egg :o

keepitgoing · 27/05/2015 13:10

good luck beedle I hope you can go this month. annoying about the weekends, but like you said to me, is one day so different? we hear a lot about early/late implantation

hi gen Grin wise words for cups. that must have been scary. cups what's the latest? are you 37 weeks yet? I've lost track

OP posts:
BeedlesPineNeedles · 27/05/2015 13:17

Thanks keep I have just spoken to the clinic and we are booked in for 13:00 on Saturday - I think perhaps they are not so keen on doing EC at weekends but ET doesn't seem to be a problem :o
So brooking for perfect defrosting, cosy comfy lining and a nice dr that will give me another prescription for progesterone so less mental stress for me

farfallarocks · 27/05/2015 18:54

Good luck beedle, that was fast!!! Get smacking!
Hello gen my old friend, scary stuff indeed.
loopy good luck, here is the BFP :)

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 27/05/2015 21:11

Wishing my life away here until I can test. I think I am 7 dpo today, keep feeling things happening inside day and night, but just can't get excited as the last 4 times I've felt this its resulted in a BFP fairly followed by a mc. Just hoping that the hysteroscopy and removal of adhesions means that this egg implants properly. Have been temping and its shot up which is good as at least my body is doing what it should be. However, despite this I have decided to be slightly naughty and follow the Coventry protocol even though I haven't been there. So am chopping up my left over progesterone and using them from today, rather than doing what I was prescribed last time and taking them from BFP. Figured can get a new prescription from consultant on Monday. Maybe doing that plus the hysteroscopy might mean this one sticks. Oh to have a crystal ball....

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 28/05/2015 07:50

Brook brook Brooking for lovely lining and perfect defrosting Beedle. It's so great you can do it again so quickly. Frosties are fab! I found the worst bit was waiting between goes.

Loopy oh bless you, the 2 week wait is horrendous enough as it is. I really feel your pain, it reminds me a bit of IVF 2 week wait as you are so in tune with what might be happening each day. Am keeping everything crossed for you.

Gen lovely to see you! DS birth sounds quite scary, so glad it all went ok in the end. I think I've accepted it will be a c section if baby doesn't move at last. It's more the fear of the unknown that is stressing me out but there is no controlling giving birth! I've read quite a bit about transverse babies and have found lots of positions are not recommended. I've only been going on all fours now and using my ball as that's all the midwife thinks is safe.

Keep I'm 37 weeks tomorrow and have my consultant appointment on Tuesday. I've been really upset the past few days as a woman on the antenatal group I joined on mn gave birth unexpectedly the other day and her little boy was stillborn. They have no idea what happened. I feel absolutely distraught for her. Selfishly it's made my very worried for my baby and I've been driving myself a bit mad. I saw the midwife yesterday for a check up as ended up calling her in tears after I heard the news. Everything seems fine with baby apart from him still being transverse. Am feeling better today, midwife was great and has told me to come to her drop in clinic every week from now on if it helps.

How is everyone else doing? How are you feeling Cartoon?

Withalittlesparkle · 28/05/2015 08:11

Brooking for Beedles too!!!

12 week scan here today Grin can't believe I'm already done with semester one, or do I have to wait till the end of the week first?

cartoontrickster · 28/05/2015 09:47

sparks yay for the end of the first trimester! I think it is really when you reach 13wks but who cares!
beedle brilliant that you haven't had to wait long. brooking for you.
loopy I hate the 2 ww. wish there was a way to know sooner. fingers crossed for you.
cups woohoo for 37wks. what terrible news about your antenatal friend , that brought tears to my eyes. not the same but when one of my nct group had the baby early and the little boy was in nicu (he's was fine btw) I was very upset and like you it made me worry for my own baby. you will both be fine though, you are a brooker. birth wise I always said that you never know what might happen you can't control it, I didn't do much of a plan I wanted to stay open minded. my friend was suprised I accepted an early induction but I figured I might end up having one anyway so why wait!
thank u for asking about me, I am fine Smile. I think I'm fast approaching the time in my cycle when I feel miserable though, maybe I should speak to someone but I'm too embarrassed, I've nothing to feel miserable about. a lot of it is that I'm hard on myself, I'm sure I've made mistakes and still will but N is happy, loving and healthy so I can't have gone far wrong.

keepitgoing · 28/05/2015 10:51

cups yay to 37 weeks. how awful about your friend. I know what you mean about it making you worry. glad your mw is nice. you're so nearly there

beedle we are simply brooking no argument that this is your time. you will get your bfp the day cups gives birth, is my prediction Grin

we were told to keep phoning for cancellations. they say they get loads of calls - of course they do. what a stupid system, wasting staff time always taking these calls. why not ask if people would be interested in cancellations and call them if they get one!!

OP posts:
Loopyaboutmy2boys · 28/05/2015 14:42

Cups if you have any questions re cs's ask away, I had an emcs and an elcs.

Had to take ds1 to GP today and whilst there showed her a note I'd written on my phone, she has confirmed that as long as consultant faxes her she has no issues with supplying me with progesterone and clexane. Good to know I don't need to battle for it or traipse 45 mins each time to the hospital. Just need a bean to be sticky enough to get past the location scan. Will ask consultant re that on Monday.

Beedles hope it's your turn this month, you have waited long enough and it really is time for a good BFP for you!

BeedlesPineNeedles · 29/05/2015 14:04

cups I'm so sorry about your friend, I can imagine how anxious it has made you feel. I don't think you're selfish for worrying about your own baby.

loopy good news about the gp sorting out the stuff you need. I'll think sticky thoughts for you (ooh-er!)

MrB managed some well-timed sex yesterday am and I might try to persuade him again tomorrow am. Not for any ttc purposes but because if frosty #2 defrosts ok we won't be having any of the sex for a couple of weeks! Oh and I saw another BFP numberplate last the weekend, its a sign I tell you :o

Pastamancer · 29/05/2015 14:23

Got another sign for you Beedles, I am having period pain so it looks like AF will be returning here soon. DD is 10 weeks, I never get long after birth :(

For the newbies, it's a bit of a Brooker tradition that when AF returns after giving birth, another Brooker gets a BFP.

cartoontrickster · 29/05/2015 17:43

10wks pasta sounds a dream! I got mine after 5wks. are you breast feeding?

Pastamancer · 29/05/2015 17:52

Yep, breastfeeding exclusively here. Lochia did last for 7 weeks though so I've only had a 3 week break

keepitgoing · 29/05/2015 19:41

beedles watch it or you'll end up with twins Wink Grin I hope tomorrow goes well.

we will be smacking the rat too tonight, as +ive opk. Smile

pasta 10 weeks?! omg I got 9 months! but good of you to get AF to give beedle her bfp.

OP posts:
cartoontrickster · 29/05/2015 19:47

good luck with the rat smacking beedle and keep Wink

ah right! gosh that is soon then pasta! Poor you only have 3wks in between as well.

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 30/05/2015 07:22

So very faint BFP today on frer at 10dpo. Am bricking it that it will turn into a chemical pregnancy, or that it will end up being mc number 5. That makes me 3w3days, need to get through the next 3 weeks as 3 of the 4 mc before 6 weeks and the other was a mmc that stopped developing at 6+4. Until then I can't think there is any chance of a baby. Seeing consultant on Monday, hoping he can get the clexane sorted for me urgently as from my history time isn't on my side

Imps9 · 30/05/2015 08:40

Hello all!

Just popping my head round the door to hand you all fresh coffee (or tea or herbal or gin to those who want) and a delightful platter of homemade crumpets with butter, jam and strawberries.

Cups I'm so very sad to hear about your antenatal friends. There are no words to adequately cover some situations in life.

Loopy good luck with this little one! I forget what you're already taking...

Beedle this is your turn my love! So kind of Pasta to give you her AF.

Drat and darn it - have forgotten everything I just read.

OH! That's right - Sparks can't believe you're 12 weeks already! Has the sickness gone?

Hope you all have lovely things planned for the weekend. We're off to that there London town to see friends and heading back here tomorrow to do housework - our house is a bit of a tip at the moment.

Pastamancer · 30/05/2015 09:03

Imps I refuse to believe that your house is a tip, you're never there long enough to get it messy.

Loopy brookedy, brookedy, brook

DD1 was 3 yesterday, how did that happen?

jaggythistle · 30/05/2015 10:25

Hi Gen!

Pasta it does not seem like almost 4 years ago that we started brooking... Shock but my brooking boy is 3 as well now so it must be!

All the Brooks for you loopy!

Cups that is awful for your friend. :( I'm almost 38 weeks now and still a bit of a worrier. It's uncomfortable enough without a transverse baby as well, poor you! Have been having a lot of painful BHs this week which is freaking me out a bit, not feeling ready for baby 3 to appear yet!

Brooking hard for your frosty too beedle.

Have a nice weekend Imps . :)

yay for heading into 2ND trimester Sparks!

Off to sit around and distract my kids with a DVD for a bit...Blush

BeedlesPineNeedles · 30/05/2015 11:10

I hope this one is the one loopy brook brook brook

imps have fun in london town - you know I always assumed that was where you live but obviously not!

No phone calls :o :o so we're leaving soon for the hospital
