oh cups that's great news Grin did they give you an idea of his size? why is it so hard for them to tell babies' directions... you're more pregnant than I ever was! Smile

He was 7lb 1oz according to the scan. He was 5lb 13 oz nearly 2 weeks earlier so I was really surprised that he'd grown that much. Probably explains why I feel massive! How much did Kip weigh?

farfallarocks · 03/06/2015 15:59

Hooray for head down babies cups

loopy really sorry to hear this. There is a link between PCOS and clotting disorders according to Raj Rai at St Mary's. Interestedly he prescribes clexane from BFP as most clotting disorders make implantation an issue so you need to catch the problem early, 6 weeks might be too late.
Having said that I would say something else is going on. There is another theory about the 'unfussy uterus' which allows all embryos to implant regardless of quality whereas normally only 1 in 4 would be accepted. Given how easily you get pregnant (every time?) that could be happening to you. I would also investigate immune issues thoroughly as that links with mcs happening earlier and earlier.

I am sorry this is happening to you

Imps9 · 03/06/2015 19:55

First square of baby blanket done! 62 to go...

Cups eeeeeeeeeekkkkkk not long to go!!!!

cartoontrickster · 03/06/2015 20:33

that's great cups
just a quick one to send my love to loopy, hope you had more bloods done. I find it hard to believe that someone would make that call on one set of blood results. listen to far she is very knowledgeable. I was also wondering about other tests for you and whether there would be any meds that could help you if taken from ovulation?
thinking of you too mol

keepitgoing · 04/06/2015 08:51

loopy I kind of thought the same as far, unfussy uterus. that could be it at least in part

cups she was 7lb exactly, at 37+1. I've heard the scans are often quite inaccurate though, we'll see. are you eating curry and smacking the rat yet? is it a bit more comfortable now?

Imps9 · 04/06/2015 09:00

Loopy did you do more bloods yesterday?

Far you're so damned knowledgeable!

I've ovulated here and it took me by surprise somewhat. I've always had pant snot for days before Ov (8 days last cycle!) but this month I got pant snot on Monday, serious ov pains on Tues (the kind where you go "ouch" when you sit down), a little pant snot y'day, and dry as the Sahara today. So I think I ov'd y'day. Managed to smack the rat on Tues night so obvs I'm now diffed.

What news with you Beedles? Are you symptom spotting or trying your best to ignore them?

keepitgoing · 04/06/2015 09:28

imps that's a good sign. decisive ovulation! Grin

Indeed - no fannying about here. This egg knows what it wants and it's damn well going to go out there and get it.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 04/06/2015 13:08

Imps that's one sneaky egg you've got there but there is no getting passed you Grin well done for smacking that rat. When are you confirming your BFP??

Loopy how are you doing? Some good advice from Far and Cartoon.

Keep yep I'm taking the weight with a pinch of salt. My side of the family tend to have big babies. My DB has 2DC and they were both over 12lbs Shock

My silly dog has fallen down the last few stairs when following me downstairs this morning. She's not hurt herself but is now terrified of the stairs and won't walk past them Blush just another thing to add to the long list of what she's scared of: Hoover, hairdryer, anything belonging to baby and the toilet Grin

Imps9 · 04/06/2015 13:38

What sort of dog have you got Cups (other than a cowardly one)?

My BFP shall be confirmed on 14 June at 9.30am. Pop it your diaries.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 04/06/2015 13:49

< sets alarm for 6am on 14th Grin>

She is a mongrel, a mix between lab/German shepherd and Staffy. Sounds like a crazy combination but I think she is beautiful! She is so easily scared it's ridiculous. I've had all the baby stuff up for ages to try to get her used to it. The first time she saw the car seat she tried to sit in it. She actually reversed her bum into the seat part Grin

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 04/06/2015 13:56

Here's some pictures of her

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 04/06/2015 14:45

Hey all, started bleeding today so the doctor was right. Hey ho, roll on next cycle, am going to try again with the medication if manage to get a BFP and push for clexane ASAP. Meanwhile hopefully get the scan done for PCOS, and maybe take agnus castus as someone on rmc thread seems to think it can help shorten cycles. That's as much as a plan as I have right now.

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 04/06/2015 14:46

Ps fingers crossed that the next bfps are beedle and imps!!

cartoontrickster · 04/06/2015 16:13

I'm sorry loopy that's shit.
I really can't understand why your consultant won't give you clexane from bfp, I'm pretty sure there's no reason to delay. Are there other tests / treatments they might consider for you now?

cartoontrickster · 04/06/2015 16:18

also loopy, I was told I had polycystic ovaries but not actually polycystic ovary syndrome. I hadn't previously realised there was a difference. so wondered which was the case with you.

Withalittlesparkle · 04/06/2015 17:42

Sorry to hear your news loopy. Cartoon is right when she says about having cysts on your ovaries but not PCOS, you'll need blood levels to back it up, androgens/testosterone levels will be all sorts of out of whack.

I started taking Angus castus shortly before my cycle I got my BFP with Twinks, he was conceived on a rare 28 day cycle so there's a good chance it could help? I kept forgetting to take it this time and my cycles were even more wild than before!!

ishallnamehimsquishy · 04/06/2015 20:05

Aw no loopy. :(

And Shock at >12 lb babies! Mine have both been in the 7-8 lb range, DS2 was smallest despite being predicted to be enormous (no that was just all the cakes I ate).

keepitgoing · 05/06/2015 10:00

hi squishy welcome. do I know you

loopy I'm sorry

Squishy has been a brooker for ages, she has nc. Bit of a change going from prickly to squishy :o

jaggythistle · 05/06/2015 19:49

Yes. Keep forgetting my proper brooking name. I stopped being jaggy so much as I thought I'd posted a lot of detail. But I suck at remembering.

Duh.Blush

I think squishy turned up when I was mentalling about names.
