NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 17/06/2015 08:56

Imps9 · 17/06/2015 09:10

Indeed - end July/early Aug will see Tripe Whammy II fo' sho'. Can't wait!

Boo if you feel a weight has even lifted then that is proof that this is the right thing to have happened (not that you needed proof).

keepitgoing · 17/06/2015 11:06

ooh imps I'm sorry, but pleased we will likely be cycling together. though surely at least one of us will get a fufc bfp this month

we have 3 frosties. I'm hoping for natural cycles but will talk it through next Fri. beedle did you not have any scans just opks?

boo Thanks

maybe any news on TTC again?

OP posts:
BeedlesPineNeedles · 17/06/2015 11:19

no scans at all keep just opks (proper expensive clearblue ones with smiley faces - i wasn't taking any chances!) Ring them up when it was positive and go in 2 days later. very nice and as stressfree as possible (except for waiting to see if they had survived defrosting!)

keepitgoing · 17/06/2015 11:21

thought so. thanks x

NoMaybeAboutIt · 17/06/2015 12:11

Yes indeed Keep, we are thinking of march time next year. Hopefully A will be off boob by then and it seems a good time to try. The clinic gets better results with medicated cycles, so that's what we will be doing.

I'm so looking forward to this flurry of BFPs Grin

Imps9 · 17/06/2015 17:29

Oh dear, I just had a I've-got-something-in-my-eye moment when buying a fathers' day card for my dad. I saw one that would be perfect for Mr Imps and it made me upset that we're not there yet.

So I did what any self-respecting Brooker would do and bought it anyway so store with my stash of other pregnancy/baby-related goodies that will one day be dusted off and put to good use.

Withalittlesparkle · 17/06/2015 17:44

Good move imps cus you're clearly going to get diffed

keepitgoing · 17/06/2015 20:48

oh god I need to sort fathers day gah

imps you will soon be with babe and no time to buy cards, so v good to stock up now Smile x

maybe that's great you have a plan

OP posts:
EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 17/06/2015 22:33

Oh Imps I'm giving you a massive bloody squeeze whether you want it or not! You are so bloody amazing, your handle on all of this is nothing short of fucking amazing.

Thanks for the love ladies, yes I am happier now, it certainly is right for us and definitely a good decision even if it means I have to take my own bins out now ;) Someone asked about summer plans, well J is doing the National Citizenship Service, and we are all going away with one of my lovely friends, we have 6 children between us Grin We can't bloody wait! Camping in Norfolk, J and C are very outnumbered by us girls (friend has a 16 year old stunner of a daughter, so J is happy Wink)

What is everyone else doing this year? Obviously between getting BFPs, celebrating BFPs and sneezing!!!

keepitgoing · 18/06/2015 08:15

we are going to a wedding in Eastern Europe then holidaying with friends and lots of babies/kids. will be mayhem. then I'll be coming home and getting my bfp later in the summer Smile

glad you're doing OK boo, is he still hoping for a reconciliation? where are your hold?

OP posts:
keepitgoing · 18/06/2015 08:16

doh, just read norfolk, lovely! Grin

OP posts:
Withalittlesparkle · 18/06/2015 08:31

We have a uk holiday booked in a couple of weeks then zero other plans for the rest of the summer! We lead such a boring life!

Pastamancer · 18/06/2015 09:26

We are off to Butlins on Monday

Imps9 · 18/06/2015 09:30

Well, not wanting to never have a holiday on the horizon, we are of for a long cycling weekend to the Netherlands in three weeks' time to watch the start of the Tour de France, then we have a long weekend to Yorkshire at the end of July, then our annual Big Barbecue at the end of August, and a week in Portugal in September!

Feeling much brighter today after what must have been a bit of a hormone crash yesterday. Told Mr Imps about the chem ( I hadn't told him about the second line so as not to get his hopes up) and he was v positive about it. It took us 3.5 years to get out first BFP in Aug last year, and only 10 months to get our second - although 2 of these were non-TTC months on account of IVF. So that makes 8 months really. Whether it's by IVF or a natural BFP, there's a good chance we'll get there.

I've ordered some Proxeed Women too - the male version has had such an amazing effect on his swimmers, there can be no harm in trying to give my eggs a boost too.

Ooops must dash to a meeting.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 18/06/2015 11:31

imps tell me more about the proxeed! Glad you're feeling a bit better.

We got loads of paperwork from the new clinic in the post yesterday, including the price list. we hadn't really talked much about the costs as I thought they were really reasonable, about £3000 for IVF/ICSI (I know there will be extra stuff as well) but MrB was a bit shocked I'm not really sure how cheap he was expecting it to be! and we'll save approx 30% by paying direct from our gross pay, so really its a bargain as long as it works!

keepitgoing · 18/06/2015 12:37

that's quite reasonable beedle, I guess mrB just doesn't know what he's on about... would your old clinic have been about the same now you'd have to pay?
