TWW officially begins!!!!!

AF due 13th May and have no idea of how I'm going to wait that long!

This is our first cycle TTC baby #1 and since we have decided to try I have been very anxious. I just want this to happen, my close family have all had fertility issues and I've convinced myself I will too.

Just thought I'd start thus for support for all wanting some words if encouragement.

Me and DH started TTC in December. Just be prepared for how crazy it will turn you! Every symptom and twinge you think it's a sign!

On the bright side, I 'think' I've got my BFP this week. I've had faint lines for 5 days in a row on internet cheapies but a negative on a clear blue. I'm hoping because I have ridiculously long cycles that I'm not actually as pregnant as the internet is telling me (based on the first day of my last period I should be 4 weeks, 28 day cycle. I actually have 35 day cycles so I'm only 2 weeks apparently). So I've banned myself from testing again until Sunday.

Good luck, stock up on amazon cheap ov tests and pg tests! It'll save you buying them from the supermarket! And don't get disheartened if it doesn't happen as quickly as you'd hoped. Find a good friend you can moan to!

Hi, think my AF is due on the same day! We can be tww buddies.

Started TTC for #1 since sept 14 and have had 2 early mc's by end of year. I got really obsessed and upset last cycle. Hope I'll be more chilled this time.

Thanks ladies!!! Many congrats loveulot!! Great news! You're right I do need to talk about it however we have decided to keep it to ourselves so can't talk to those close to me about it. That's probably half the issue as I let it all build up in my head. I just feel panicky all the time and nervous that we won't be able to conceive.

It has got to a point where it's all I think about and it's only month 1!!!!! Hoping the arrival of AF will bring me back to earth and make me be a little more relaxed about it next month if we are not pregnant.

gakay TWW buddies sounds great. I think we should all keep each other sane on here...although I think I'm past that lol!!

Surely I'm not the only one who is this anxious lol!! And since we've been trying all I see around me are babies and pregnant women...what's all that about? Lol

I think it does something to your head. We both came into this saying we were doing the relaxed approach. No ov sticks, no looking at cycles or testing etc. that went out the window on cycle 2!

For some reason I had a feeling it would take us ages too, hopefully I'm going to be proves wrong.

The only thing in the back of my mind is though, I'm very overweight. I really hope that isn't an issue as such. I've lost nearly 2 stone since deciding to TTC, I really hoped I would have lost all of it (6 stone) before getting pregnant. I don't mean to sound ungrateful, if I am, I'm so happy. I just worry that it's going to cause problems later on. Hopefully I'll keep losing weight though, so you never know.

loveyoulots firstly that's great news about losing nearly 2 stone! That isn't easy at all and to achieve that alone is great for TTC! Don't beat yourself up, you are going in the right direction and that's all we can do!

gakay, with all you've been through I hope it happens for you sooner rather than later. Let's see if we can do it together May 13th?

Sounds silly, I actually feel positive today. After talking through it on here it does help. I hope we get some more TWWer's to get a support group going!

Can I join? I'm due AF 11 May according to my tracker app but my cycle can vary between 29 days to 45 days so who knows! We've been trying for dc2 for just under a year now after conceiving dd without even trying (I had the copper coil fitted). I've been having very tender boobs and AF-type pains since Monday along with being very hungry and feeling slightly queasy on and off. I had thought they were ovulation pains (I get these) but now a tiny voice in my head is saying maybe I ovulated early this month and this will be my month to get my BFP. I think I'm probably being daft but the little voice won't go away!

itwillhappen thanks. I feel much better today as well after writing here. I was getting so depressed when AF came last cycle DP thought I was going mad and said this can't go on every month...

loveulots that's amazing losing so much weight. I've been telling myself I need to start getting fit and going to the gym but can't motivate myself. It's also getting harder now that I've developed hip pain...

cinnamon welcome on board. Those symptoms sound really promising! When was your LMP? Fingers crossed for you

Thanks gakay My last LMP started 1/4 and ended 4/4 - they are always short. Boobs still slightly sore today and have a heavy dragging feeling like AF is coming which is exactly what I had with dd. Don't want to get my hopes up though. Guess I should just wait until AF is due on 11/5 and see what happens. It's so hard though!

My cycles are pretty regular from what I know as apart from the last two months I'd never tracked them. We were planning on TTC next year but bought it forward. I have been using the IC ovulation tests and didn't get a positive till yday. So not really sure what's going on. I've had no ovulation symptoms apart from watery CM (sorry TMI). Either way DH and I have dtd everyday of my fertile period according to my Ovia app.

Have decided that next month will go to every other day and also start to use pre-seed. Fingers crossed there isn't a next month.

I'm so excited! Started temping this cycle as was worried that I wasn't ovulating - I've been using cbfm and DTD on peak fertility day but still bfn every cycle. FF has just confirmed that I have ovulated! Though it seems to think it happened the day before I think it did. Anyway, am still very happy.

itwillhappen I think they say it's better to DTD every other day as better swimmer quality. DP and I certainly don't have that energy and hence using OPK.

This month could be the month for all of us!

Mental note to self: better start reducing caffeine intake now... (while sipping my lovely coffee)

Morning! My TWW begins tomorrow. I'm rather new to all this tracking, certainly didn't bother when trying for my previous two. Anyway, bizarrely I'm not sure if I've ovulated yet. No EW discharge that I see monthly usually. Maybe my cycle is out of sync. Or I did have the EW mucous but not noticed... I'm sorry! I'm totally rambling. But I'm mulling over my cycle this morning and it's making me think.

loveulot many congratulations!!!! So happy for you! I'm hoping we can all follow your lead!

frank welcome. I myself didn't have a EWCM but I did have a watery CM yday to the point I could feel it whilst I was cooking and felt like I'd pee'd a little lol. Did a ovulation test straight away and came positive. Preseed is a conception friendly lubricant which helps sperm (apparently). Read lots of good reviews so hoping it works.

The waiting is doing my head in.

I had no idea. My first thought was it was something to do with pre cum - ha! But couldn't for the life of me work out as to what. I'm glad I asked. I've been a little watery, too now to think. Not hugely though.

This CM thing is so confusing. I'm sure I've ov'd cos of peak OPK and 3 peaked temp but think I saw ewcm this morning.

It is. TMI, apologies....
After I wee'd earlier, I turned to flush and saw mucous floating in the water. It was very light brown almost clear with darker spots in it. Certainly was unexpected.

Isn't it funny that before TTC we'd never bother noticing our CM! Lol. We should name this thread TMI, I love it.

Feeling positive today, hoping this continues for the next two weeks lol!!

I know itwillhappen! I know things about my body now that I had no idea about before!

I am still having slight sharp pains in my boobs and still feel like AF is going to arrive at any moment - had some "nipping" in my cervix yesterday (thats what it felt like anyway).Just don't know what is going on. How will I last till 11/5?! May be near home bargains later, do they usually sell cheapie tests?

Hope your positivity keeps on for you! Maybe we will all get lucky :)

That's great news in the symptoms cinnammon. Hopefully this month is your BFP.

I've had nothing substantial at all, still very early but nothing. I'm expecting BFN this month but still happy with that as this is our first month.

Symptoms are so confusing. How could it be that pre-AF symptoms are so similar to early pregnancy symptoms?

I managed to stay positive and didn't obsess (too much) yesterday. Hope today is another good day.

We're in May already. Getting closer to the end of my tww.
