I was in the same situation as you a couple of years ago. I was told I couldn’t have Clomid or IVF until my BMI was under 30. At the time I was about a size 20, so was pretty big. I managed to lose a couple of stones & now have a BMI of about 27, which is on the high side, but so much better than it was. I have just re-started my diet/exercise plan, so we can be diet buddies if you want.
I know it seems unfair & everywhere you look there are massive fat women who just keep popping babies out, but overall, the statistics show that size does impact fertility.

I am terrified of flying, too. I don’t take medication, but I have been in tears more than once on an aeroplane. I think it is the thought that if anything goes wrong, you are completely powerless.

I am going to suggest to DH that we give AI a go once or twice each month. We have a pretty good sex life normally, but there is so much pressure around OV time, and it can also get boring doing it for days on end!
